The first time I heard Secretary Murphy cite research, “a Delaware study,” that the evidence of a teacher with years of experience has peaked and declines, I lost any am out of respect I was willing to extend out of courtesy. It was a sign that collaborating with the state was hopeless. As a national board certified teacher, I am disgusted at Delaware ‘ s deletion of the nbpts process as valuable. DE has extended millions to unproven programs but yet turned its back on the one nationally accredited process. DOE and Gov. Markell are annoyed by claims of cronyism and profit motive. Well, let’s see some quality, professionalism. Let’s study research beyond your own homegrown bias. Rise to empirical studies! Someone needs to step up because it seems smarter to raise your kids in MD or PA where there are certainly more in state tuition affordability.

You give me an idea. Where the corporates can buy a non-profit to spin their selective data, there is no counter-balancing force. Most people (including myself prior) would think whatever they said, since they were experts, had merit. Just like if we said there was no global warming,… and no one dared countermand that gross error, most of us would continue to think there was no global warming.
What we need is a group here who can respond to disclaimers immediately, contact news sources so whenever Rodel’ minions spin, it spins 360 and throws the sh/t right back in their face..
Wait!. we have that!… Let’s get it mainstreamed.
