The Official Policy of Denial
Who might this creepy phrase best describe.
“…a spineless coward who sits in the darkness, and deliberately, and gleefully, inflicts pain on innocents in order to accomplish his deranged agenda.” quoted from Hurley letter.
A visual…of a pedophile comes to mind.
Or an offender in denial.
But the intended purpose seems to be an effort to keep things quiet in the make believe world of republican ‘family values.’ and real life denial.
What kind of result is the ‘victim’ hoping to accomplish- reacting instead with threats, when it needs to be established, if the child was a victim of some sort of abuse or, if the child is a teen who was/is in a consenting relationship with a married, fifty year old, Sussex County man.
Republicans accusing republicans, is no excuse to attempt to drive the scandal into a stinking, holding tank of republican denial. All the festering republican crap needs to be brought into the light of day and examined.
What is happening, is the opposite of what honorable men are suppose to do. A party of honorable men, should be stepping forward, saying, let us thoroughly evaluate the time table, her age, the events and the involvement, the well being, of this youngster and the intentions and actions, of the fifty year old married republican alleged ‘victim’ in question.
Instead, the use of dime store reverse psychology has been deployed, reminding one of what thugs, drug dealers, murderers and various guilty criminals, sometimes try to do – silence witnesses, a system that works in high crime crowded street corners.
There’s a republican vs. republican, dynamic going on within the republican party, as the republican ‘corner’ has been overtaken by those referred to as tea party republicans, the party of denial, (identifying tea shirts, paraphernalia included.)
Has the republican party itself become such a corner with each warring faction trying to gain or regain their influence of choice?
Is the public to believe, teenage girls should trust their innocence to (borrowing the attorney’s phrase,) ‘.. spineless, cowardly, deliberate, gleeful, pain inflicting’ men?’ And now, have those who had hoped to expose same, been officially threatened? Get off of our corner, or else? If that’s the case, who among the republicans would ever speak up to protect children? Children, as extremely vulnerable as they are, would stand no chance, of confronting or surviving threats such as those so obviously and forcefullly announced.
“…a spineless coward who sits in the darkness, and deliberately, and gleefully, inflicts pain on innocents in order to accomplish his deranged agenda.” quote from Hurley letter.
Allegations against the Lewes doctor, comes to mind. Should accusers have been threatened into fear and silence, so the ‘good’ doctor, would still be raping infants?
The above quoted, creepy description, also best describes a group of thugs, who are known on the republican corner, as ‘deniers.’
In a bold move, the republican candidate for the President of the United States, Willard M. Romney has made the new republican agenda perfectly clear, “Under the Romney Administration the US will have an official Policy of Denial. ….OFFICIAL POLICY OF DENIAL, the choice of the republican tea party.
In the State of DEnial, there is denial of fossil fuel interests, clean energy initiatives, of haz waste by-product stockpiling, 100% – contaminated waterways, un breathable Orange and Red Alert contaminated air, overlooked pedophile charges, race, women, minority abuses; affordable insurance, educational opportunity, denial of corrupt board members, teachers, coaches, corrupt town, county, state officials, corrupt land development interests, natural resource degradation, denial of deDOT failures, disappearing public funds; climate change denial, disappearing shorelines, as well as legal integrity.
Hurley makes one point very clear.
Don’t believe republicans.
Two things republicans lack – a conscience and votes and the ‘child’ issue, appears to be wallowing in a cesspool of republicanism.
Republicans exploit the future of children when they deny pollution, when they deny breathable air; when they deny clean energy; republicans exploit the future of children, when they deny children’s right to their nature resources, when they deny climate change – republicans deny children the right to be healthy children, with a future.
When such republicans in denial, claim to have ‘family values.’ OF COURSE one can’t believe them.
The local question is, will Delaware tea party republicans once again, back what they really value -The Official Policy of Denial.
Of course they will.
“Denial” and “family values,” are not compatible.. “Family values” supposedly means, valuing one’s family, valuing children’s lives, etc. Denial means – screw it all; I want what I want. Denial says, ‘No, it didn’t happen,’ when it did. Denial says, ‘It isn’t true,’ when it is. Denial means repudiate, or as Palin would say, refudiate.
A politician need to be able to look at any child and conduct the business of politics in a way, that is in the best interest of that child to remain and become mentality, emotionally, physically, socially healthy – past, present and future.
Should a alcoholic in denial, a druggie in denial, a gambler in denial, a politician in denial – ever be trusted with their fix of choice?
Of course not.
This might explain why an alleged offender turned ‘ victim,’ would chose to react with cheap, dime store reverse psychological threats, instead of presenting the ‘reality’ of the situation, in the light of day.
Like the republicans who back polluting corporate interests, polluting fossil fuel interests, global climate change, (all of which have been declared by climate scientists, to be catastrophically harmful,) the spineless coward who sits “…in the darkness, and deliberately, and gleefully, inflicts pain on innocents in order to accomplish his deranged agenda.” – remains in denial within the republican Official Party of Denial.
Regardless of the outcome of the allegations, a republican in denial, isn’t fit for political leadership at any capacity.
A politician with ‘an official policy of denial, is not dealing with reality.
PS
Regarding the bogus analogy of a Sussex politician being a ‘victim’ of a Ben Laden attack, that’s an insult to all America
Reality check for republicans in denial. This is what the official republican response to the attack on the Towers, the Pentagon, really looked like:
YouTube – Videos from this email
Tragically, Bush remained in a state of denial, and took the opportunity to replace reality with imaginary mushroom clouds, Niger yellow cake and non existent WMD, and started a war in the wrong country, for the wrong reason (oil interests), to have the soldiers of the world, destroy the country, then ‘search’ for the non existent WDM and Ben Laden, who wasn’t in Iraq and who he didn’t capture, as hundreds of thousands of men, women and children, were killed and damaged by a shock and awe war on Iraq.
Republican in denial, chose to believe this ‘mission accomplished’ version instead, which of course, didn’t involve Ben Laden or the attack on America.
