As one progresses through life one becomes more humble. When young, one believes it is his own actions that create his or her success. Old age tells us it was just luck. We see others come later, more talented, smarter, better looking, not achieving what we once did. We have to accept we were just simply in the right place at the right time to grasp an opportunity.
Being thoughtful people, as one sees more, one ponders more. Similarities do take place on opposite sides of the globe. Similarities that perhaps could be random, but for them to occur in non random frequencies, belies something else might be in play.
It is with that in mind, I notice that across the red states of the United States, primarily a bastion of fundamentalist conservative theocracy, the weather is changing. Basically, there is no rain…. Secondly I have noticed that the weather in Oklahoma is every year, corresponding more and more like those dry, hot , sandy climes on the other side of our planet, which coincidentally, are also occupied by a bastion of fundamentalist conservative theocracies, practicing something very similar to Oklahoma policy but over there it is called Shara Law…
The unproven theory, one derived deeply out of the forges of possibility from quantum mechanics, is that as we evolve to think like Muslims, our weather evolves to behave like we are Muslims.
Currently there is no difference between those thought processes and actions of legislatures of Oklahoma, and those existing in Muslim countries like Pakistan, Somalia, and Yemen…
The climate is racing to catch up to the Middle East with this three year drought in Oklahoma….
As any follower of monotheism well knows, when a people sin and go the wrong way, the weather catches up to punish them. I simply am offering that is what is happening in Oklahoma….

Republicans are like turnips.
Early on one knew one had been born at the right time, when life was easy compared to the struggles of earlier years. It was a good time, and then it wasn’t. It turned out, we are all on borrowed time. The turnip wagon had come to town. And somehow one knew, nothing good would could come of it. The future was fading and now as time passes, one knows what lies ahead. It is of great concern..
There had been a fight for energy that didn’t pollute the air, but DEnial overwhelmingly won. There has been a climate phenomenon in the state of DEnial as well. First it never seemed to rain, things started to bloom too soon, summers started too soon, then got too hot, lasted too long. It got plainly dangerous and we are told by the wisest men, the climate holds promise of catastrophe. To help ordinary people understand, Dr. James Hansen would refer to it as weather, on loaded, heated dice.
In the southern part of DEnial, there’s a radio station that broadcasts voices of hate filled folks who can call in to talk about their President and Muslims but it is the callers and hosts who often sound like homegrown terrorists. They seem to hate their country in that they want it to fail in the worst way. They hate their fellow Americans and they really hate their President, hate their Vice President, a former President and his wife Hilary. They hate all democrats equally just because they are democrats, whom they started out calling liberals, then lefties, then socialists, now communists with a take over plot against which they need to arm. It seems they have fallen off the extreme right side of the turnip wagon. Some roll about, claiming to be religious, except their party is known for hate, lying and they love guns made for killing people. Some callers, even imagine there will be cause to use their guns. Fatman plays strange military sounding music, laughs a perverse laugh at things that are evil.
They can’t find leaders who make sense; they are a loosely connected lot of hodgepodge mixed striped turnips, without logic or honorable purpose, with 1% think tank recipes and conspiracy theories to stew over. The 1%, send their jobs overseas, lower their wages and prospects, interfere with children’s educations, deny rights and keep a lot of think tanks on tap to keep their issues sufficiently simmering; and the wilting turnips tasteless, unpalatable and miserable. They in turn, call in to stir their own pot of gruel as well as back continuing fossil fuel dependency and a change of climate.
They back a shut down of government and starting recessions. One thinks it’s all about the release of turnip gas, the heating of the air, the fertilizing of the 1% hybrid turnips and the changing of climates to suit their oily, gaseous pursuits. Funny thing about turnips. They’re easy to grow, but it’s hard to like them much because when dinner’s served, they’re just bland, white, nasty and bitter; a vegetable one never wants to see at the table again.

We know this. As well stated what is at stake is the future of the world. Do we do well, or do we leave the ashes for others?
It is wise to remember that though we can see the big picture of what Republicans are trying to do, it is wiser to see how they are being played and to snip that marionettes string connecting the two.
We fought Japan, then as soon as the emporer said, honor our conquerors, we had no resistence.
We fought Germany into Berlin. As soon as the top commander was gone, we literally had no resistance..
We are winning this war. We have given Americans another view. Like the Germans and Japanese, they also have to make comparisons of one party that says “It is so, because I say so” versus the reality of enemy troops invading their homeland, versus waves and waves of bombers unchallenged over their skies…
No more WWI”s. We learned from WWII against pure evil there can be no surrender unless it is unconditionally. Hopefully that will be handled bloodlessly at the ballot boxes of 2014…..
