CNN is reporting that Sarah Palin will not be joining the Conservative Pathetic Acrimonious Complainers (CPAC) this year… The Alaska governor had been expected to serve as the headline attraction at the three day event.
One bets that she’s learned her lesson on having photo-shoots with other turkeys in the background.
In her place, other headline speakers will include Russ Limbaugh, Newt Gingrich, and Ann Coulter… Attendance is expected to be low.

Matter of fact, attendance this year is expected to be much higher than normal. Unfortunately, CPAC is always during the 90 day Alaskan legislative session. Palin was invited to speak last year, and was also unable to attend. This year she is sending a video taped address, which will undoubtedly get more attention and coverage than any speech delivered by anyone who actually attends.

But we all know her appeal was that she was “one of us”…. Just like us… We were going to have someone normal….
But she was too much like us and her ignorance of how things worked, undermined her’s and her party’s credibility….
If she learns to read, and comes to understand that what republicans believe is worthless, and she takes a moderate approach and bashes conservatism as a failed policy at every opportunity, she could become a force to be reckoned with…
