Delaware’s Republican Party wants to be known as the party of inclusion.. The have a marketing firm trying very hard to present an “image” that helps make this seem believable.
“What we’re telling people is that the principles that drive the Republican party are inclusive, and we’ve had candidates up and down our ticket who reflect that,” said Charlie Copeland, a former state Senate Minority leader who now runs the Delaware GOP.
Voters in November will find a ballot with a number of young candidates, women and people of color, a reflection of a concerted effort within the state party to broaden its appeal and ditch its stereotypical image…..
Yet none of these young, women, or people of color have disassociated themselves from the most bigoted, racist, misogynist, hateful, secular, satanist candidate we have ever seen….
For example, click on Jean Dowding’s website. She is running against Sean Lynn in Dover. Can we really expect her to enthusiastically support Trump’s call to round up all blacks openly execute them on the spot in the name of “keeping our streets safe”?
Of course not. but she is solidly (in public if not private) toeing Charlie Copeland’s line and says she solidly supports and is behind the top of the ticket: Donald Trump, that guy pictured at the top of this article….
(Now to be fair, Donald Trump now is not the same one here in Delaware last April.. If campaigning hard as local candidates are wont to do, she may actually not be aware of what he now stands for)….
Here is the updated list of Donald’s current stance, just off of Delaware Liberal’s site. Thanks Guys, 🙂 )

This is directly taken from yesterday’s Donald Trump’s 100 day speech!… This is what he is preaching today.. and this is what every single one of the following below is supporting, whether they know it or not…
Today, we often look back on history as the rise and fall of monolithic entities, we think of Nazi Germany, we think of Soviet Russia, we think of Ayatollah Khomeini’s Iran…
Only they weren’t monolithic. They were established by one sect over-ruling another sect of their people.. Once in control, as presented to the world at large, they then became monolithic entities… But inside, there were a lot of citizens who passionately felt they too were going the wrong direction (until they were killed, lol) ? Many changed their initial support after they discovered the true nature of those who they put their vote behind…(and then they were ratted on, and killed, lol).
Today, we already know what Trump stands for. We already know how much ineptitude he represents. We already know how unprepared he is to lead the greatest nation in the world, We already know how far his values lead our nation from its principals based on those principles underlying all the world’s great faiths.. Today we know what a selfish, sniveling, little snot he really is..
Hitler to his credit, was able to hide it. Stalin, to his credit was able to hide it. Trump to his discredit, spread it across our TV’s for all to see.
And, you still support him? What in the hell is wrong with you? Seriously… Go look in the mirror and say eye to ey to your image that you support in full the above 100 days contract and are proud to represent to your color, your gender, or your age group, that ideal as an American Republican… And if it gags you when doing it in your own mirror image, you can imagine how it gags all of humanity to see you remain silent against the upcoming destruction of the Constitution as well as the underpinning of America’s great economy…
It takes courage to stand up to ones enemies… It takes an untold almost insurmountable level of courage to stand up to ones supporters and friends…
The path all of you have chosen to follow, is atheistic and non biblical. ….
James 4:17 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
James 2:26 For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.
Titus 2:7-9 Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent, may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.
Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
Galatians 5:19-26 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. …
Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
Matthew 7:21“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,
3 John 1:11 Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God.
Titus 3:14 And let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.
James 2:24 You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.
All which deal a blow directly to Charlie Copeland’s leadership of the party… It’s not what you say Charlie, but how your party acts, on which they will be judged….
All of the following have chosen to act one certain way… which is to support the candidate of their party no matter how crazy he has become… One must seriously question the psychological makeup of anyone who will support violence against women, against blacks, against Hispanics, against the deeply religious, (as long as they are Muslims)…
These people below do not deserve to represent America in the 21st Century…… Please check to see if you have any candidates listed and then be sure to vote for their opponent, or click them, and ask them why they say one thing, but do the opposite which is another….

“We the above, do solemnly swear to abide, support, and pursue the election of Donald Trump as president of the United States, and will work to uphold, enact, and support all the policies he has put forth…..
Signed:
All of the Above....
Putting party above country is never fine.. country should always come first; at least it always does for Democrats. (I hope).
There are times when party’s and country’s interests diverge… Those moments are when we define to others and to ourselves, who we are…
There is a world of moral truth. We can’t see it but we have sensed it all our lives. There are times we look the other way from what we know is right in order to save our skins… Survivability is probably our biggest instinct so in such times we, though ashamed, can be forgiven….
But there are times when our nations survivability, depends on our actions, which may cause us to lose friendships, may interrupt our future plans, and may cause us consternation as we steer towards moral truth and away from where we feel comfortable.
In such times, we have only one action and that is to pick a side… We must struggle within ourselves to pick either the side of comfort which at best, may be fleeting, OR, we pick the hard road, but one that leads us to shade and cool waters where we find deep peace within ourselves.
Time and events have put you, a now retired woman long in charge of your party here, at such a crossroads… At your point in life, I know you just wish it would go away… But let me remind you, of what you are now closing your eyes towards, what you are now giving up on, and what you are now letting flow forth from the broken dyke you and your generation have built up to stem back the murky waters of hate…
Over the space of 24 hours, it has become clear that Donald Trump’s “locker room talk” was a lot more than just talk. Multiple witnesses—and victims—of his actions have come forward. In that brief period we’ve learned that:
- Trump used his ownership of beauty pageants to sneak backstage while contestants were undressed, including at teen pageants with girls as young as 14.
- Trump assaulted and constrained a People Magazine reporter who was sent to write a story on his “wedded bliss.”
- Trump assaulted a woman on a plane who simply had the bad luck to be seated next to him.
- Trump forced a kiss on a woman who introduced herself in Trump Tower, and kept her from leaving.
- Trump kissed other contestants at his pageants without their permission.
- Trump groped a woman he encountered at his Mar-a-Lago resort.
- Trump kissed and groped yet another of his pageant contestants.
- Trump leered at a 10-year-old and said he “would be dating her in ten years.”
- Trump closed out the evening by denying everything and firing off frivolous legal threats.
Do you or do you not, put your finger in that hole to stop the flow of water through that dyke?
I was distracted by something more interesting… No, it wasn’t Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift… (but you should look into that if you don’t know what I’m saying right now…)
I found a toy, that explains a lot….
Buy clicking onto the picture one can interactively move each of the graphs below and understand our electorate much better after the outcome…. This is guaranteed to give hours of lost time, distracted viewing, and overextended neurons. Not only that, but it is fun; much, much more fun than what’s going on in Cleveland…which hasn’t been fun since Drew Carey left…
In fact, it explains a lot of what’s going on in Cleveland…
The above is my fiddling with the graph to discern what might happen if all college educated whites, all Blacks, all Hispanics, and all Asians voted 50% of their group for Hillary and the rest did not participate, AND if all non-college-educated whites were fired up and voted at rates higher than normal for them and all voted for Trump.
As you can see above, there are enough Trump voters to win the Presidency for Trump if just 4 out of 5 of them vote… .
To counter that, you would need 98% of Hispanics to vote for Hillary with all being equal; you would need 61% of Blacks to vote for Hillary with all being equal….
So it is pretty obvious that Trump does not need educated Whites. He does not need Black, Hispanics, OR Asians to win…
But he does need his base of uneducated Whites to turn out in numbers similar to how Blacks came out of the woodwork for Obama… Which means, he has to whip them up.
So all the Jerry Springer shenanigans the rest of America dismisses and laughs, points, and makes fun of, are what his audience eats up and drives them to the polls… The crazier he is, the higher his ratings go in this select group and it is not a matter of how many of those people support him…. They are there… It IS a matter of by how much they will support him in November…and will they come out of the woodwork to vote for him?
If you are an American who believes in fairness, democracy, and justice for all, or are color blind to racial slurs and hot-buttons, this makes the things Donald Trump says or doesn’t say, very scary for you. But dumb, he is not… He has only one shot of taking the Presidency and this tactic is just that… There are not enough other voters to stop him if his supporters become galvanized and show up en masse.
This toy quickly shows that straight up…..
And there is a lesson here. As the election comes forward your social media is going to light up with political memes… Guaranteed and there will be little you can do to stop it, (which you won’t because you’ll be too curious to stop being entertained).
But the tactic most taken, (that of belittling, bashing, condemning, taking the moral high ground, dismissing, and deprecating,) is absolutely pointless in convincing this audience. You will just lose friends… The only option you have to stop Donald Trump (if that is your goal), is to stop those first time voters for Donald from taking the plunge and going to the polls. You can do this by raising questions… Not answering. But raising them… here are some examples…
- How much will it cost to send all Mexicans back? Who will pay for it? Won’t taxes have to go up.
- If you ban Shara law then all terrorists look just like us. How will you tell them apart?
- If you give the wealthy large tax breaks, and they aren’t using it to create new jobs now, how will giving them even more next year make them do what they can do now, but aren’t?
- If you ban all abortion, and your wife gets knocked up in your old age, what are you going to do? Have a kid younger than your grandkids?
The way to stop argument in confused minds is to raise questions, lots of them… never offer answers, just raise questions… And that is what you should be doing, nicely, in all your interactions with non-college-educated whites from now till November..
Who knows, maybe they may have an answer YOU’ve never thought of and will change your perspective too…. But if not, at least they will become a little smarter and if non-college-educated whites all become smarter, that has to be good for America… right?
So make it “great” again…
.
It is very simple. If one Republican supports segregation, and the Republican Party does not expunge him from its party, obviously the Head of The Republican Party then automatically inherits the problem and becomes culpable…. But there are two Republicans doing this. And both are the principal movers of the entire Republican Party (if not name, then deed) of Sussex County.
The only outcry from the Republican Party has been a buried press release from the head here in New Castle County, which no one read…..
That can only mean the Republican Party secretly supports segregation….
Think about it. You are with a group of people and one starts harassing someone outside your group. They could be liberal, gay, effeminate, Hispanic, urban, whatever. It doesn’t matter. But that someone in your group goes off half-cocked and bullies them n public…
What do you do, sitting there holding your beer? Do you come to that person’s defense? “Hey, you can’t do that to them. You need to leave us right now, You don’t represent us! You sicken me. In fact, I’m going to punch my fist right through your f’n head. Then when you’re down I’m going use my new cowboy boots to grind your head into tomato paste.” (Because if you did, The bullying would probably stop immediately, since you were becoming the new threat.)
But probably not. Most likely you are going to sit there, silent, pondering all your choices, and from the outside keep a stoic face so all around you, especially that person being verbally abused, will assume you are just part of the posse, going along with the sheriff doing the abusing… If ever later questioned why you chose not to intervene, you will say “I’m not prejudiced. I actually like “those people”. I don’t have a part in this fight. Of course I don’t agree with him, but I’m not going to get into a fist fight with someone I work with…. ”
And thus, through yours and your acquaintance’s cowardice, you allow the abuse to continue. Someone else another day, will feel the ire, and then someone else the day later, etc…. The real problem is allowed to continue. And we all know; it is a real problem.
So when we all are held accountable, (as to why did you do nothing to stop it), despite whatever excuse we proffer it will become obvious to us that there was indeed another choice at that time which could have been made…. We could have done something….
That is why one press release read by nobody, is not enough. Only one action and one action alone is strong enough to send the proper message that this behavior will NOT be tolerated. That is to permanently ban Vince Phillips and Sam Wilson from any Republican Party affiliation. That is to public excommunicate them from the Republican Party of Delaware… That is to issue a restraining order banning Vince Phillips and Sam Wilson from any function even remotely connected to the Republican Party of Delaware…..
IF the Republican Party does not take such drastic action…. they are culpable just as you or I would be if a friend of ours started demeaning a stranger in our presence. WE WOULD BE GUILTY TOO…..
This is why, no… as in zero… self-respecting human being should donate, volunteer, or even vote for any Republican until the Republican Party has elicited some serious cost upon the perpetrators… Considering the moral weakness previously exhibited by their current leader, I predict that will be highly unlikely….
I further predict that segregation against the “colored people” will be continue to be openly practiced in Sussex County because it now has the unspoken “protection” of the Republican Party.
Sweeney is at it again. As old age creeps up on him as with everyone else, his edge has dulled. In this case it is not his intellect, but his wisdom which fades. Instead of thinking for himself, he is led by the nose with a thread, sewed through his septum, then tied in a knot, with a long string dangling out of his nostril….
“They” tried to hide the author. It is buried under ….”Our View…” But like his face in the picture often used to represent him… some things one just can’t hide…. There is a particular slant of Sweeneyism that is hard to copy. That could be described as preaching the gospel of creationism long after it has been debunked…
In his latest attempt Sweeney gets called to save the dying Charter Schools. Public opinion has turned against the administration…. Yet in Sweeney’s entire argument, there are no facts. Why should we turn to Charter Schools? The facts are that they teach worse than do public schools, they waste more tax dollars than public schools, they actually cost more dollars than public schools, and they drain resources away from public schools, Oh, and they pay their owners, superintendents, and administrators more than public schools… To the tune of $72 dollars a student more!
So why should we continue with Charter Schools? The only reason Sweeney can possibly derive… is because people want them. Well. … …. … People want heroin too…. So perhaps the perfect rebuttal to Sweeney’s argument would be to substitute the word…” Heroin”… for his words… “Charter Schools”… Trust me… It is a really fun read… It also shows the spuriousness of Sweeney’s argument… “Why should everyone suffer just to make a few people happy?” Here is Sweeney’s explanation… (Warning: don’t drink and read at the same time..).. 🙂
===
“Twenty legislators have asked the state Board of Addictions to consider the possible harm five new heroin dispensaries pose to the Red Clay Consolidated School District.
The legislators are worried that too much legal heroin will drive students out of Red Clay schools. They argue this would be a detriment to the district and to those who prefer a public drug-free culture.
They have a point. Looked at from the institution’s point of view, heroin poses a threat. However, what does it look like from the point of view of the addicts who would want to send their children into heroin addiction? What do they see? What is the need addicts are trying to fill?
The heroin debate generally has ignored questions like these. Most of the arguments coming from the legislators and others, focus on the concerns of the institutions and those who run them. The viewpoint of the typical addict is missing.
Abstinence has been, is and will be the backbone of the American anti drug system, its religion, its workplace. However, for generations, people with money could sidestep any legal faults they saw in that system by sending their children money for heroin. However, since the advent of laws allowing for legal heroin, middle- and low-income parents now have had the ability to leave that dull reality as well. Most likely, these parents do not see themselves as leaving an old reality; they are just trying to get a better thrill for their children. The parents, in other words, are voting with their actions, driving into Wilmington, buying bags, and giving it to their children.
Instead of complaining, the anti drug establishment and their legislative supporters should be asking why.
People who hook new addicts study their customers. When the customers stop coming back, those business operators find out why and do something about it. They do not blame the competition, they kill them. As one businessman recently put it, Pepsi does not try to shut down Coke when the customers stop drinking Pepsi. Pepsi fights back.
Do the leaders of Red Clay or any other anti drug institution know why parents want to take their children out of abstinence? The districts cannot blame the growth of drug use on just the plight of middle-class white parents. Heroin addiction is extremely attractive to lower-income minority parents as well.
Why? What prompts them to shoot up? What attracts them to heroin? If the anti drug leaders know what the reason is, why isn’t it on the table for discussion? Suppose the problem were lack of love or curriculum. Shouldn’t that problem be the topic for discussion? Shouldn’t the legislators be trying to assist the anti drug establishment to find a solution for the heroin addiction, rather than complaining about alleged unfairness of those selling heroin to be beyond the law?
We applaud the legislators for their concern, but they would have a better argument if they could speak to the addicts’ concerns as well.

This argument doesn’t work for heroin; it doesn’t work for Charter Schools…. The definition of freedom… at least as we (and that includes Sweeney) once learned…. “is the right to do what you want as long as it doesn’t hurt someone else”…… There are only two Charter Schools doing well…. Newark and Wilmington’s.. Between just the two of them, there are 2700 students…. Across the state there are over 133,000…. Why should every other student have to experience a decline in resources-per-child to benefit only 0.2% of the student population?
In Sweeney’s topsy turvey world, everyone of those 130,600 other students must now suffer (which even he admits to), until we find out why 0.2% of the population has an addiction to something different……
Yes. It truly boggles the mind, doesn’t it?
