post-trump

This is amazing. Two videos released on the last weekend before the big vote…. Both summing up their campaign in under two minutes.. As is usual the tone is what one perceives and in this case there is a huge difference.

One uplifting and inspiring. The other dark and foreboding One full of color, bright and active. The other shot like a crime scene drama, dark, dramatic, and dangerous.

I actually like both of them. They are both pretty good summations and the darker one is polished rather well almost enough to be convincing… Only it is too little too late. It fails to address that the solution it proposes to all the problems it illustrates, is more of a problem than the problems are. To be fair, both videos are rather vague on policy…

One says we need to celebrate life. The other implies we can never celebrate life because there are always big scary problems out there which will attack and eat us… Be afraid, be very afraid…

So I guess it depends on what type of nation you want for your children really… One that is great to live in, or one that sort of sucks to live in but if you just elect Donald Trump, even though it sucks, you will be safe. Why? Because he’s been on the Apprentice… (as the closing pose strikes so similar) lol.

And now… the greatest contrast of two videos you will ever see… (unless you watch Comcast’s Channel 29 and porn back to back)..

What did you think? Isn’t the difference as stark as that between Kennedy and Nixon? Between Johnson and Goldwater? Between Nixon and McGovern? Between Reagan and Mondale? Got any more? It has been a while we’ve had a more comparative bright and dark contrast…

Now it is up to you… What spirit do you want to lead America? The good one? Or Bad?

“Damn! Here Comes Trump Into The Dressing Room Again”

There really is no greater issue in this campaign.  Men just don’t get it.

But by voting Democratic from top to bottom (exception in 8th and 1st Delaware Senatorial) you elect and send Trump and his supporters packing; for good. The bigger the margin of the loss, the longer they stay away and under cover..

There is no greater issue in this campaign… If you are a woman, and vote for Trump, heaven help you.  One day you will awake and realize just how ugly your soul is.

There is no greater issue in this campaign.  Again… men just don’t get it… But you can put that ogre and the ogre of every man who’s violated you or made you feel uncomfortable, in its grave for good.

There is no greater issue in this campaign… and only by voting up or down Democratic can you make the point that we are done with this issue; we are finished; this issue is forever behind us…

Despite the newest attempt to open the email controversy again, and the bumbling attempt by FBI Director Comey to throw cold water on Hillary’s red hot sizzling run for the gold, this is not the time to panic. It is not even the time to worry. She’s got this…

We know that of the 270 electoral votes required to win, all of those come from states where Hillary’s projections are above 93.7% to win… To lose those states it would have to drop 43.7% points to 50% which could still happen, but so could a meteor materialize and slam into earth.. Don’t laugh, it happened 65 million years ago!

Currently polls show Hillary holding at 333 electoral votes. This is created by averaging all the polls together and using that average for each state, and adding all those Clinton states together. Some of those states are in the high 80%, the 70’s, the 60’s.. and some are around 55%… States lower than 55% are not counted in the totals because they are too close to call….

Now these aggregate numbers are two weeks old because the polls have to come out first, and then they have to all be totaled together. But the candidates themselves all do live polling which means they have real time data. Trumps data confirms to the that of Nate Silver’s 538 according to an insider interview in a Business Insider article. He knows he’s lost.

Today, David Plouffe tweeted all to relax, 300 was rock solid, which means the live polling being done all day Saturday, is showing that people are not changing.. Florida, Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona can all stay red and Hillary still coasts in without any problem…

But of course we want to run up the score.. So stay cool, don’t panic and work up the score. Being Sunday it is easy to allude to a NFL game in the last minutes of the 4th Quarter. We were up 3 touchdowns and about to put in the 2nd string, when the FBI leakage counted as one for their side. They still have to get 2 more before the clock runs out, and even if they do, they still have to go through overtime…

Now, we have seen great games where that does happen, and it may make us nervous to see them rejuvenated after we thought they were put away.. But, if you remember what always happens in those great comeback scenarios, is that the winning team has a turnover error which results in a touch down for the other side.

Turnovers come about when you panic. There is no need to panic. In fact , a return touchdown on our part, will literally suck ALL the wind out of their sails..

She’s got this.

Let me make a case for you… First, what are you voting for?  No matter how you respond to that question, here is the factual real answer!
===
You are voting for the human being who can best lead our nation in the direction you want for the next 4 years…
===

If too many of us fuck it up, we live that fuck up every minute of every day for four years… (that’s 2,103,840 minutes)… There are no do-overs.

So how do you decide? What is important to you?  Professional Competence?  Personal Characteristics? Specific Policies?  You have clear choices in all….

Professional Competence.  Like Forrest Gump, anywhere history was made, Hillary was there. She worked on the campaigns of Goldwater, Mondale, McGovern, Carter, and her husband.  She’s lived in the White House 8 years already and has served as Secretary of State. Across her tenure she has unequivocally stood up for women, children, families, and minorities. She worked the Watergate hearings.  She pushed through the CHIP program providing Health Insurance for children of parents who could not afford it.  As Secretary of State, she got the world to unify and apply sanctions on Iran, she met with and started the global unity towards affecting Climate Change, she unified Pacific nations around us instead of China.

Donald Trump has never run for office or served in office.  We can only judge his competence by how he runs the Trump organization which profits off selling space and off casinos. He has several unsuccessful business that have gone belly up, often with his name attached. Trump Steaks, Trump University, Trump the Game, Trump’s Taj Majal, Trump Airways are just five of his failed enterprises. He has undergone 6 restructuring bankruptcies and has cost his investors millions. He does not honor his obligations, once promising to pay a contracted amount, then only paying 30% with a take it or leave it clause at the end. Although such is no crime, he is the first presidential candidate to not release his tax forms. America is struggling with:… why?  Although untried in public so as not to have political baggage, his personal baggage includes a list of threatened lawsuits he has filed, all later dropped for having no validity, and an upcoming court case for the rape of a 13 year old at one of his previously convicted child sex offender friends apartments… As of this moment, Hillary has never hand a rape charge filed against her, either by an adult or minor.

Personal Characteristics

Hillary comes across as kind, loving, heartful, sympathetic, and a person who will listen. Just what one would expect from a grandmother, wife, and mother…  Sometimes demeaned by some for standing with her husband during his infidelity, her decision to most Americans has been an inspiration in their lives when faced with the same alternative as she. In the long game her decision played our rather well.  She is going to be president.  She makes good decisions. As governor’s wife, instead of making cookies and greeting guests in the governor’s mansion, she took a different route and worked as chairman of the Legal Services Corporation, the Arkansas Educational Standards Committee, co-founded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, served on the boards of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Arkansas Legal Services.Children’s Defense Fund, as well as the Boards of TCBY and Walmart. While governor’s wife, The National Law Journal — named one of the most powerful lawyers in America… Even Donald Trump praised her doggedness. saying she never quits; she keeps on task, dogging it until she gets what she’s after…

Donald is transitioning from the world of commercial-investment-marketing full of hype, to the slow grind of real politics. Often in his own words, casting himself as a brazen playboy, as a debonair celebrity, as a tough reality television host, all to promote his brand, … much of that baggage has now weighted down his first venture into Presidential campaigning. Hence we have the candidate promoting the “party of family values” caught on tape saying he’s a unregistered sex offender, grabbing pussy without consent.  12 alleged groping stories have since emerged after that revelation.  In comparison, the other presidential rogue to which Donald mostly compares himself, at this point in his first campaign had zero allegations.. All of Bill’s came dubiously after his election, sought out and fanned by a wealthy right wing conspiracy, all which failed when put in court.Donald has fathered children by three different women and appears to have little fidelity towards any of those three, based on the stories now circulating, which can be corroborated just by watching his interactions with his family on TV.

Specific Policies

Hillary Clinton will fight to stop climate change. Hillary Clinton will fight to keep the peace. Hillary Clinton will not kowtow to Russia.  Hillary Clinton will tax the wealthy. Hillary Clinton will reduce the deficit. Hillary Clinton will continue the policies that have grown private sector jobs. Hillary Clinton will continue the policies that just gave us 2.9% GDP growth. Hillary Clinton will save Social Security. Hillary Clinton will save Medicare. Hillary Clinton will improve Obamacare. Hillary Clinton will improve the lives of Appalachians. Hillary Clinton will overturn Citizens United. Hillary Clinton will provide free college tuition. Hillary Clinton will refinance existing college loans to better terms. Hillary Clinton will enforce Dodd Frank and impose Glass-Steigle regulations on banking again. Hillary Clinton will be tough on North Korea.  Hillary Clinton will not ruin Texas’s economy by building a wall. Hillary Clinton will not export all Mexicans. Hillary Clinton will impose restrictions on gunning down blacks in our streets by the police. Hillary Clinton will make it harder for terrorists to buy a gun here in the US.

Trump will do the exact opposites of all of the above.

Don’t be undecided, man.

Forget words.  Actions, actions always speak louder than words. Though one might think business would back the Republican because that is what businesses always say, when it comes to managing their money, they show their hand.

The above chart shows today’s stock market.  It was chugging along on normal pace until the exact moment that Comey was misinterpreted to say the email case was opening on Hillary Clinton…

That announcement right or wrong, would signify that chances of Trump  winning just grew, and chances of Hillary winning just fell.

It promoted panic.  sell, sell, sell…  then the word gradually leaked that is was nothing really. The new material did not affect Hillary. Did not affect her server.  Did not affect her emails.  It was …….. whatever..

The panic abated and the market rose to within 8 points of its open….

No you may rail at big business as the boogey man.. But try doing something without money?  Turns out, you need what they can provide.

From this we all learn….

1) American businesses see Hillary’s election as good for business and Trump as a potential disaster for our economy.  They desperately want Hillary to win.

2) Businesses with a genuine financial stake in this investigation believe that Comey has nothing.

What is amazing is that this weekend news dump fizzled out before the weekend began…  I particularly love the Hillary camp’s response.

“If you have something, you need to put it up…”   She is one tough cookie and we are going to work to give her an entire Congress of Democrats to stop politics like Comey’s prank from continuing as usual…  We need your help.

Of course, there are good Republicans.. Delaware has two running this term… Our 8th and 1st Senatorial races… But other than that, you can make a better world for yourself, your elderly parents, your children, and grandchildren, by using the rest of the Republican’s loyalty to Trump as your guide and kicking them out to pasture…

Here are those who need to go…..  Disgusted with Trump and wish you could vote against him more then once?  Well, …. you can, by voting against these guys downballot…. Every vote against these, is against everything Trump stands for….

Lip service is one thing. Actions are something else.  All of the above at this late date are still supportive of Donald Trump and what he stands for….

Those two good Republicans running for state office I mentioned?… I must isolate and mention both of them in name again and encourage you to vote them in over their democrat opponents (no loss there in both seats) to show the world that Delaware is not a satellite of Donald Trump….

These two very special people, who separated themselves publicly from Trump, are:

Meredith Chapman    Senate District 8

James Spadola    Senate District 1

what-a-loser

I was thinking after writing a post earlier just how it could be effective to combat bullying in schools that were suffering the “Trump Effect”…

It’s complicated…

For how can you assuage a child whose been bullied by saying it is wrong, that you won’t stand for it, and that you will do something to make sure it never happens again, and they see an ad on TV that counteracts everything you just told them?

You saying — “Bullying is Wrong” and having someone who is actually doing it  WHILE RUNNING FOR THE PRESIDENT OF THIS COUNTRY……  is one…..huge…. disconnect….

He has more credibility than you….

So what tools would work?  What is one practical way to make sure the child understands that bullying is wrong and that you are in power to do something about it, whether you are an administrator, a teacher, or even a parent?

The answer is as obvious as going “Back To The Future..”  Bullying does not stop, until you beat up the bully… You have to BEAT UP THE BULLY… that is the only way…

Now when little children start to bully, talking to them works, training works, getting them to empathize with their victims works… but with grown up bullies, you getting them in trouble by telling on them just makes it rougher on you when no one is looking… With grown up bullies, YOU HAVE TO BEAT UP THE BULLY… the “beating thing” is the only thing they understand.

How to do that with Trump in a school situation?

The solution is simple.  You have to discredit the source (Trump) by publicly ridiculing him in EVERY classroom and executing a full court press to your students that his and similar Republican’s values are ridiculous and never to be tolerated…

Republican talking heads will call in and complain perhaps. After all, by definition you are being political in an apolitical environment…  To some extent they are right.

What we need is to discuss whether politics as usual apply here as they would if Kasich had been the Republican nominee, and these were just policy allignments, or if something unethical or malicious is at hand that needs to be culled out….

I’m leaning to the latter.  Because we are not dealing with free thinking adults.  We are dealing with little children who are scared. And my retort to those Republicans complaining that such an action is rooted in politicality, would be that …. you brought that on when you elected a bigot to represent your party…

As Americans we have the moral duty to defend this nation from its enemies foreign and domestic.  Right now with the increase of bullying, Trump’s reputation is a domestic enemy.  We are obligated to denounce, trash, destroy, demean, any ounce of credibility he or his party has….

Those who are Republican but fear Trump, can leave that party, or they can kick out those Trump supporters who hijacked their party… it remains to be seen who is the stronger… But until they do, there can be no other course but in every school to be political in front of ones students when emphatically denouncing Trump and showing your kids that the world, and those who are trusted to keep it safe, are not crazy…. Donald Trump is!…

Kids will “get” it and the effects will not linger after November’s election date…

Sadly the Trump atmosphere has permeated public schools.  Bullying is on the upswing and the bullies are invoking the name of Donald Trump in their endeavors.

Groups affected are women, Hispanics, blacks, and even Asians…  We all know why this is so. Children imitate their parents.  and none of us have been immune to the television and YouTube clips showing America at its finest (not)…

“Regardless of one’s politics, the impact of this year’s political rhetoric on K12 schools is huge. It has produced increasing levels of fear and anxiety among students of all ages. Fear levels are becoming especially high among ethnic, racial and linguistic minority, and LGBTQ youth. Perception is reality.”

Obviously this carries over in school… We need every public official right now to denounce both bullying and that presidential candidate who is instigating these onslaughts… some physical, but with children, most offenses are verbal..  Particularly damaging is those slurs at Hispanics taunting that they will be deported … all coming from a candidate which media, as well as many silent Republican officials, seem to endorse.

We have these people running politics here in Delaware who have not yet denounced Donald Trump.

Charlie Copeland… Head of the Republican Party in Delaware.

Colin Bonini………. Candidate for Governor of the State of Delaware

Reigle Hans……….. Candidate for US House of Representatives

La Marr Gunn…….. Candidate for Lt. Governor of the State of Delaware

Jeffery Cragg……….Candidate for Insurance Commissioner of the State of Delaware..

To my knowledge only Meredith Chapman running in  the 8th Senatorial District of Newark and Hockessin areas has said anything about not “supporting” this yuge problem making things more difficult in every one of our public schools…..

Here then is what you just told me….

1)  You want to be ruled, not governed….You want a dictator in the style of Putin, which pretty much makes you anti-American.

2.  You have no class….  Mocking a disabled person, telling your crowd to beat on a protester,  and tweeting innuendo at 3am is your idea of being a real classy guy…

3. You are definitely not someone to do business with…..  Words like truth, integrity, honor, and duty, mean nothing to you…  To you good business is cheating someone and getting away with it….

4.  You are either a racist, or at best, have no problem with racism…..  Dude, stop denying it… You’re racist…

5.  You have an issue with women….. “#*#$%!&*^%$%  b/tch!!! ”  Ahhh. you feel at home now….

6.  You aren’t really Christian….. Being a bully, who only made his money on casinos, who has had several wives and several affairs, who cheats those he contracts to do services for him, is not someone a real Christian can stand behind. …

7.  You don’t believe in the Constitution    Get a copy from Mr. Kahn and read it…Shutting down mosques, curbing free speech,  denying legal representation, and punishing the Press for disagreeing with you, are the opposite of what the Bill of Rights requires us to do. What you do support is the governance model for the old Soviet Union, Mao’s China, or Fidel’s Cuba….

All the above mean to us that whenever you criticize Hillary or Obama it is meaningless….  You might as well be criticizing them from inside Putin’s Russia… You certainly aren’t using American values for your criticizing…

As Trump spews racist comments out both left and right sides of his mouth, Republicans don’t hear it and continue to do their duty and push the vote button beside his name…

In a way, they are comparable with those Germans still fighting for Hitler after the war was inevitably lost.  What really were they fighting for?  More dead by prolonging the inevitable?

All Republicans need to recognize their party is RACIST… Not all it’s members are RACISTS, but… the party itself…. IS…

It is anti-Black, no matter what lip service they send minorities.  It is anti-immigrant, primarily focused on Hispanics, but their language is broad enough to include all non white Americans.   It is anti-women, reveling in “pigs” and “fat” and other derogatory terms used to give women pause, more then accurately call anything out as it really is…

Basically the Republican party is nothing but bullies who intimidate others into staying in line…

It is also sexist and highly derogatory to women…. Based on recent comments, it appears that a woman not only has to do what men do, but also do it backwards, and remain “pretty” and “smiling” throughout the entire process…

We just witnessed the worst possible candidate every nominated by a major party make a huge fool out of every Republican still intent on voting for him… And there was silence… Exactly how bad was Mr. Trump?

Well…. Let’s for a moment just pretend he is a ….. woman, shall we?

“Imagine a woman who showed up to a presidential debate unprepared, sniffling like a coke addict and interrupting her opponent 70 times. Further,  let’s imagine that she had 5 kids by 3 different men, was a repeated adulterer, had multiple bankruptcies, paid zero federal taxes and rooted for the housing crisis in which many thousands of families lost their homes. Wait… there’s more: she has never held any elected office in her life.”

So … why are you still voting for him?    There can be only ONE reason….. he is a male………… probably the worst fvcking male on this planet, lol, but still, he is a male…

Face it… You are sexist….
