Any white cop will tell you it does. You can’t predict how a Black will act, they’re just weird, so you must detain him first to protect your own safety… and only then, determine if they’ve ever committed a crime…
And no, you don’t have to do that to white people they tell you….
This brought to mind something quite weird…
Have you ever seen a Black guy walk through an all white neighborhood? All the white people stare at him… No one says “hey, yo, what’s up bro? How you feelin’ today?” The phones ring behind closed curtains as old lady calls old lady… “Better be careful out there, there’s a black guy loose”… It’s like: put one black guy on the street and everyone gets panicky…
This is fact. You don’t see that in all-black neighborhoods… When a lone white guy walks down Spruce Street in Wilmington, everyone out on their stoops, calls out to him… Kids run up, “hey, Mister.” Old folks holler from their porches… “Hot enough for you out there?” Black men on the corner all say, “hey, what’s happenin’, bro?”… The atmosphere is a community oriented around love and they open up their hearts (providing you aren’t police)… But it is fact: when a white guy walks down a Black neighborhood street, everyone doesn’t assume he is there to commit crime… But that is EXACTLY what goes on in white neighborhoods…..
Why is that? Why do whites as a rule get all uppity around blacks, but blacks don’t around whites?
The phenomena which is very prevalent, gives credence to all those cops killing black men because of their skin color… Their fear of the black man is innate. That “I’d better shoot first or he’ll kill me” attitude causes all of them to respond to fear in a crises and not with ones head…
And this is embarrassing for most white people to acknowledge but they do admit it. They may not have racist bone in their body, but they KNOW, their community is very scared of black people… Whereas black communities will invite white strangers into to a home BBQ if one is going on… ( especially if they bring booze).
And if you come from that mentality of instinctive fear, you are going to make the assumption that guy is going to kill you first and ask questions later; “Ka Pow”… no questions needed now…
How do you diffuse this?
I believe you can ratchet things downward by asking someone to explain how a gene affecting pigment in your skin makes anyone more dangerous than someone lacking that gene…
I think if we all apply science to this problem and realize that it is just a gene that makes skin dark; no gene is going to make someone kill you first before you have time to assess the threat… any more than the lack of that pigment gene is going to make them kill you first… Pigment has nothing to do with wanting to kill, it’s there to protect skin from excessive sun… Otherwise white people would be locking up freckled Irish, out of fear over what might happen… “THEY HAVE DARK SPOTS ON THEIR SKIN!!! ”
Our race problem is strictly based on myths we carry from our childhoods. Like Black people are dangerous; … Or white people are always nice to each other and always respect authority… of course neither are true… What is true is that most people do respect authority out of self preservation; a learned trait it comes from their experience in life, not a pigmentizing gene.
When we collectively come to the realization that race is arbitrarily decided by skin color, (it could be eye color, or foot size) then we will have overcome its influence… I know such success is kind of hard to accomplish when you have one major party’s Presidential candidate saying the exact opposite…
But if you were a white cop, and upon walking up to a car see it’s a black person and right then, take a deep breath and pretend its a white person like your Uncle Joe, then the tension with which you approach that car, is the same as if you approached some white old man with freckles… The person in that car, who’s apprehensive and afraid you are going to go berserk as in those videos, all because he was driving while black, relaxes and diffuses as well for he looks at you as a black cop, same skin color as him…
If every cop did this exercise upon approaching a suspect or someone pulled over, we just might get along a little better…
Research has proven that blacks do get treated more meanly than any other race… We have that data… They are indeed roughed up a lot more than any other race…
The severity seems to be white peoples’ fault; those same white people who freak out every time a black person strolls through their neighborhood and whisper: “what’s he doing here?”
Why is this happening I hear as the news is announced. Social Media explodes with “what is this world coming to…”
The answer is that the world is no different than it ever was… Except that today, it is just awash in guns thanks to the NRA….
The NRA’s campaign of madness drove everyone to buy a gun. Whether mentally stable or not…they now have guns and are itching to use them… Seeing a cop kill someone needlessly on YouTube, is a good reason as any….
Extreme passions will always exist. But the caliber of weapons in their hands, don’t have to.. WE chose to allow that, and now, finally, it is our policemen who are dying for it…
Ban guns like Australia, and let’s fight with bows and arrows instead… Though crimes of passion may remain, our death toll will go down and that is what we all want..
Right now, I don’t think anyone cares about the 2nd Amendment anymore… Do you know of anyone out there saying these dead policemen are just the collateral damage for keeping our rights? (That is exactly what Wayne LaPierre said of dead blacks; wonder what’s different about “dead policemen”?)
Let me explain the rational behind actively banning all guns…. If you say nothing and the gun owners scream 2nd Amendment rights, nothing will change; guns stay the same… And the exact opposite would occur if you scream BAN ALL GUNS and the NRA stays silent, which is why gun laws do get passed in crime ridden inner cities….So what has to happen is that you work to ban all guns, yet are willing to accept any compromise that allows some to remain safely in hands of people who will never use them in anger… If it appears that having guns banned is really about to happen, the NRA will modify their stance into a compromising position, instead of losing the right for anyone to own a gun forever.
We will have success, in fact both sides will win… But that achievement can ONLY happen if political pressure far great than the NRA’s, lines up to BAN ALL GUNS…..
Saying you want all guns banned is not really to ban all guns….. but to make the NRA believe it is about to happen so they un-harden their hearts and compromise….
On one hand you proclaim noisily that you want to ban all guns, and with the other you craft legislation that compromises your principles and allows some guns, but puts restrictions strong enough to keep guns out of the hands of all but the most trustworthy of collectors…
Instead of posting on social media you stand with the blue, like and share, you should be protecting the blue from being shot by posting you are against all guns… Get it? ALL GUNS…. (but really you aren’t: wink, wink)….
The NRA is a mess. Silent over cops killed in Dallas, it took media outrage before they could issue a statement. They still at this writing, are silent over the slaughter of innocent people profiled by the police due to race then killed for legally carrying an weapon….

If you do want guns to continue to be part of America’s culture, I suggest you disavow all connections to the NRA and join the Pink Pistols.
First, they are a gun ownership advocacy. They are not sidetracked by all the 2nd Amendment bullshit… Flat out, their motto is that responsible people should be allowed to own guns for their self protection. Notice, their emphasis on the word…”responsible”….
Second, they are not “revenue driven”.. You can’t even give them a donations.. From their Constitution, here is how they put it….
We do not take donations. Consider donating to your favorite charity, or taking a non-shooter to the range and showing them what it’s all about.
Third they are open to all. If you are anyone who is not balding, white, overweight, fat, stupid, arrogant, pig headed, and prejudiced, and would feel very uncomfortable among the NRA of crazy loons arguing for citizen’s military takeover of all government functions, the Pink Pistols is geared to you….
To the rest of you normal people? Stop paying the NRA and join here… Sometimes people just scream so much you ignore them… that’s the NRA… Right now IS the best time to leave and if you want to own a gun and are new to the process, you will find much better help and advice from the Pink Pistols, than you ever could from the NRA…

- Children are always much safer if they have easy access to loaded guns
- Cars, like guns, don’t kill people either; people kill people. That’s why the NRA is calling for a gun’s equivalent of stop signs and speed limits, to be abolished.
- Gun violence is just the “collateral damage” of having more “freedom”. The “Liberal Media” simply and steadfastly refuses to ask families who’ve suffered gun violence to verify this.

Today is December 3. It is the 337th day of the year… As of yesterday, depending upon who is doing the counting we have had 345-355 “mass” shootings in the United States THIS YEAR… More than one per day. This is above and beyond the normal killings. Criminal, domestic abuse, accidental, malfeasance. This number strictly represents people who plan to kill large numbers of fellow human beings and prepare for it well accumulating military style equipment, then go out and do it…
Let that sink in… Every day we have a potential Sandy Hook, a potential San Bernardino, that due to other circumstances did not have as high a body-count or shock effect as did these two in children’s areas.. But in each daily episode, at least 4 die classifying it as a “mass killing”… Every damn day.
In 11 days from today, we hit the 3rd Anniversary of Sandy Hook… Obviously gun control in America is headed in the wrong direction…
The HUGE problem, the elephant in the room, is the NRA… A group that solicits donations from large numbers of Americans who own guns, and then uses those to buy off lawmakers or threaten them with caustic ads to submit and let gun owner run rampant over the Constitutional rights of everyone else… especially small children who get dropped off in previously thought safe havens by their parents…
There are a lot more people who are not in the NRA than who are in the NRA. They too are a huge problem.. The NRA is only 1% of us (3.15 million)… Which means 99% of us (315 million) are letting them get by with murder.

No one is going to argue that we need to get rid of guns.. But 99% of us should acknowledge that the biggest player at the table is not budging on this issue.
For self survival, the NRA needs to come up with their own solution and push it through Congress. The fact they have not, speaks volumes. (They defined mass killings as the collateral damage to having the right to bear arms.)
Seriously. Collateral damage needs to affect the NRA and it needs to come from the other 99% of American citizens who don’t give a damn about the Constitutional right to bear arms; they just want these insane killings over nothing, to stop. They have the power to change it. They have the power through their vote, to put people into office WHO WILL NOT LISTEN… to the NRA…
If you haven’t gone on your social media page and blasted the NRA after this and every past massacre, the real problem is you. You, the coward, are the true problem as to why every day, another 4 people have to die..
“Oh pshaw, I don’t want to look too political”, you may say.. Or “I don’t want to piss off business associates or customers who might own guns”, you may counter. Both are noble reasons. But it seems that you don’t have the same reticence of expressing yourselves politically when it comes to whether or not to allow Syrians into the USA?
The bottom line is you are political just by living here. It’s your responsibility. If you want the killings to stop you have to overpower those who don’t want killings to stop, ie the NRA.. There are 99 or more of you for everyone of them. This small splinter of society, is the reason you must fear your time will come due while Christmas shopping.
If anyone looked up the true meaning of aiding and abetting the enemy, the NRA as an organization would land right in the center of that definition. They are America’s biggest threat; our most dangerous terrorist organization. They assist in promoting terror. Real terror; not the fake kind threatened by beheaders in the Syrian desert.
It is time everyone attacks them on their social media and either argumentatively (if you are dealing with an asshole), or gently (if you are dealing with a reasonable person), demand everyone pressure the NRA organizational leadership to come up with the one workable solution…
The easiest way to stop this extraordinary high rate of mass killings is simple: keep guns out of the hands of potential mass killers… So easy. Just do it…. Everyone else can have guns, if you are safe, no one really cares.. but guns to mass killers need to stop and anyone still a member of the NRA who does not write their leadership and demand they offer the final solution, is the problem…
Pure and simple. If they take too long, the 99% of us who are not NRA members, need impose serious safeguards on access to all their guns… WE don’t care how much they cry.. Boo, hoo, hoo. They had their chance and pissed it into the wind.

A. Guns don’t kill people; people do… this is proof right here… Because people kill people, one of the things we have to do, is make it more difficult for them to do so. Again, this is proof right here. America needs to get its grip on guns.
We could do that by registering and tracking every weapon; hint, we do it with cars’ vin numbers, titles, and inspections.
We could make legal only guns sold in stores/ hint, we do it with pharmaceuticals….
We could make legal gun ownership an adult activity, and require state approved licenses to keep and own one; hint, we do it with driver’s licenses and beer.
We could allow the CDC to track and keep records on the number of deaths, so we can see how high up the ladder gun deaths are, and death tolls can’t be diminished when it comes time to change gun policy… hint, we do it with influenza.
But in every step towards rationality, the NRA becomes irrational. “Nuts” is a pretty good adjective. As nuts do (see above photo for example), they scare and intimidate people into doing nothing to curb the illegal trading of guns.
The NRA alleges it has 3 million members. Yet now there are 315 million Americans, which means there are 312 million Americans who now hate the NRA… Were these to pressure Congress the same way as does the NRA, there would be no competition… The NRA would crawl back to 1871 with its head between its knees.
The power of the NRA only exists in a vacuum. That is something to remember. For every NRA member there are 100 who can beat him up if he steps out of line… There is no reason to fear a joker who has a NRA sticker on his truck…. Good news, is that if he is a member, he can probably handle his gun safely.

The reason is because if you knew the truth, you would be calling your representatives and tell them to outlaw all guns… It is horrendous….
Forget all the small stuff… This year there have been 247 mass killings in America… Today is the 239th day of the year….AMERICA IS AVERAGING ONE MASS KILLING A DAY….
Why? Of course it is all because of the NRA…. one one hundredth of the rest of us (1/100)…..
America. With each new mass killing, have you had enough? Are you finally ready to do what is necessary to make a change?
Then call, write, or email, but tell Congressman Carney, Senator’s Carper and Coons, to draft and vote for legislation that specifies the NRA is a terrorist organization, and require the seizing of their assets… (It’s in the Constitution; to protect ourselves from our enemies, both foreign and DOMESTIC.)
Then… pass reasonable legislation that keeps all safe… or at least…. safer.—-

Addendum. Some have tried to make this partisan. This is not partisan. Common sense is bi-partisan.. I believe there are as many Democrats who vocally support the NRA as there are Republicans… This is addressed to both of them… American’s safety is a non-partisan issue… It is not an emotional issue. It is a rational issue. Emotions have steered us in the totally wrong direction… it is past time that our brains take over our emotions and let childish policies become ineffective.
Then, instead of promoting mass mayhem, the NRA should go back to what they invented themselves for……
