Dear State of Delaware Legislator:

A,  I voted for you to help make my life better instead of worse.

B.  I am sick and tired of you not taxing the wealthy more, and making me carry the burden…

C.  There should be no excuse for me paying any taxes when I am barely breaking even and my boss pays less or the same  percentage as me while doubling his income this past year….

So tell me Mr./Ms. Legislator?

Where is the legislation raising tax rates on those making a billion or more?

Where is the legislation raising tax rates on those making a hundred million or more?

Where is the legislation raising tax rates on those making ten million or more?

Where is the legislation raising tax rates on those making one million or more?

Where is the legislation raising tax rates even just pennies on those making over half a million or more?

We elected you to do a job.  So damn it.  Do it.  Stop cutting back on essential goods and services to the 99% of us, because you are too yellow and chicken to do what we elected you to do… Balance the budget on those who, with their eyes closed, could pay our entire state budget and never even know it (as long as their accountants didn’t tell them….)

Every single Delawarean…..

Delaware is poised to give Kinder Morgan, our port for free. Well not exactly but on a percentage scale to Kinder Morgan, that is what it would come to.

This could easily have been done, if our government handled everything in secret. Pay a few people off, sign the contract; the yellow smoke appears, and Delaware fades into oblivion (Shrek Forever After image).

But, Delaware is a government of the People, for the People, and of the People. We found out.

There is a reason you have presidents of stockholders. Because naturally every one has a certain slant of opinions and one has to listen to a lot of hot air by listening to everyone’ parents complain. Having a chief executive cuts that process out and gives us simplicity required to get things done in a timely fashion. If people differ then they can take it up with the chairman and organize a revolt if necessary…

Hence in Delaware we have reached the point where we have a chief executive making the decisions and a lot of revolt steaming underneath.

So up to now, the unanswered question has been: how much should we charge? Just using the simple criteria of buying a house as an example, we can come up with a minimum figure.

When you sell a house you ask for:

  • Down payment: 5 percent
  • Interest rate: 3.26 percent

Next step is to figure out exactly what our port is worth to us.

If we just take the cumulative $250 million the state has made off the port in tariffs since taking ownership and providing records since 1996, we have a minimum guideline. In tax revenues alone over 50 years, to maintain the status quo, we need the  minimum of a $781  (250/16 X 50) million asking price.

Using the criteria above, we should then require 5% or 39 million down payment, and run the existing remainder through the standard mortgage calculation at 3.26%…

(Remember we are not figuring out the best deal, but the best worst deal for which we can afford to give up our beautiful port)

So financing the remainder $742 million over 50 years at 3.26% we should be asking directly for $$1,505,000.000 (billion) spread over 600 payments on top of that 5% down…. Even this paltry price would bring into the state a monthly income of $2.5 million (that is monthly!)..

As an aside, the equivalent of interest we would be receiving over time, would be $706  million. Not much over 50 years but a lot better than a loss.

As we have heard from many, giving the port up for free (as is being proposed by the secret deal of Alan Levine with Jack Markell’s blessing), hurts very many people…

So being realistic, if we have hurt on one hand, and benefit on the other, we need to make sure the overall benefit we get at least matches the hurt we are about to cause,… in order to simply break even.  Since breaking even is not a really the best business decision, we should be looking at doing a little or a lot better than breaking even…

Our lowest minimum price can be $1,544,000,000 (billion) meaning we lose out on anything less.

How much is the Kinder Morgan Deal? $200.5 million. Just 13% of the minimum price we will need to require for purchase… .

You saw it, let’s just jump right in…..

You see, I believe we have become paralyzed, paralyzed by
our desire to be loved.

Yes, paralyzed by our love for millionaires… We don’t EVER ask THEM to make small sacrifices. We give them whatever they ask.

Our leaders of today have decided it’s more important
to be popular, to say and do what’s easy, and say yes rather
than to say no, when no is what is required.

You know? It’s really hard to pay these hard working policemen. To do so, we have to ask billionaires for more money. Let’s do the easy thing. Lets eradicate the police force entirely and let the county cover Camden. That was we won’t have to ask billionaires for more money….

It’s easy for our leaders to say,
“Not us, not now”, in taking on the really tough issues. And
unfortunately we have stood silently by and let them get away
with it.

In fact, when all ten REPUBLICAN candidates were asked if they would raise taxes should they get nine parts in cuts for every one part raised, and all of them said, “not us, not now” when it came to raising taxes…. When it is obvious that we need more money, and it is obvious that the wealthy are making more than ever before,… is running away from the problem and turning to cutting the working poor’s incomes, really…”taking on the really tough issues?” You’re a big chicken… Christie… “bawk, bawk”..

Duh, duh-duh,duh,duh,duhhh, Duh, duh-duh,duh,duh,duhhh, Duh, duh-duh,duh,duh,duhhh, duh, duh, duh, duh, …. (chicken dance song)…

Tonight, we are speaking up for ourselves and stepping
up.

Oh, they gave you a footstool like Dukakas, huh?

See we are not afraid. We (billionaires) are taking our country back

Over our dead bodies…..

When I came into office,
I could continue on the same path that the wealth and jobs and
people leaving our state. Or I could do the job the people
elected me to do, to do the big things.

During the recession 229,700 jobs got lost in your state, New Jersey. Since you’ve been Governor, only 8200 have been created….

Now, they said that it was impossible — this is
what they told me — to cut taxes in a state where taxes were
raised 115 times in the eight years before I became governor.

115 times? Oh, you aren’t talking about taxes… You are talking about every little fee or charge that got raised in the entire state of New Jersey over the 8 years prior, That would be 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009… Fees like driver’s licenses, state id’s, licenses plates, cigarette taxes, liquor taxes, boiler inspection fees, New Jersey Turnpike tolls, all which took place during the Bush years, and one, his first, Obama year….

That it was impossible to balance the budget at the same
time with an $11 billion in deficit. But three years later, we
have three balanced budgets in a row with lower taxes.

Wait a second… On February 11, 2010, Christie signed Executive Order No. 14, which declared that a “state of fiscal emergency exists in the State of New Jersey” due to the projected $2.2 billion budget deficit for the current fiscal year (FY 2010)…. So which is it? Your Democratic neighbor Delaware had a $1 billion dollar deficit that year, and they are one tenth the size your state is, and you only had a $2 billion deficit? What’s the big deal? They couldn’t raise taxes either, because IT WAS A RECESSION!!!….

But with bipartisan leadership, we saved taxpayers
$132 billion dollars over 30 years and saved retirees their
pensions. We did it.

But at what cost? You signed legislation that strips away already-earned benefits from both current and future retirees. Under this law, many current and future retirees saw the value of their pensions drop by 40 percent or more over the course of their lives. Ok so if you were planning to retire with $100,000. Now, you have $60,000. Yet we are more than 17 months into his term and he has yet to contribute a single dollar to the pension systems. The only thing about pensions that has not changed under Gov. Christie is the state’s abject failure to make its contributions, even as the contributions required of public employees have increased. Ohhhhhh, so if you don’t pay into pensions, you leave it for the next guy….THAT’S HOW YOU BALANCE THE BUDGET…..

We believe in telling hardworking families the truth about
our country’s fiscal realities, telling them what they already
know, the math of federal spending does not add up.
With $5 trillion in debt added over the last four years, we
have no other option but to make the hard choices,

Yeah, like tax the millionaires… That is a hard choice and you haven’t done it….. Why not? Chicken? With their increased net worth this past year, you could have taxed them at 30% and they would have still made more than they did last year…

Whistling happy tune while
driving us off a fiscal cliff as long as they are behind the
wheel of power when we fall.

Wait a second… I thought the Republicans were the ones who passed those Bush Tax Cuts that ran us off the cliff?

We believe it is possible to forge bipartisan
compromise, and stand up for our conservative principles.

So, hmmm, which party was it that wouldn’t compromise for the budget crises last summer, you know the one where Republicans stormed out of the meeting because we had a gap and needed revenue to fill it? Compromise? I don’t think so……

See, I know Mitt Romney, and Mitt Romney will tell us the
hard truths we need to hear,

I never paid less than 13% on my income taxes.
“I’ll tell you what, ten-thousand bucks? $10,000 bet?”
“I have some friends who are NASCAR team owners.”
“I like those fancy raincoats you bought. Really sprung for the big bucks.”
“We have a president, who I think is is a nice guy, but he spent too much time at Harvard, perhaps.” —Mitt Romney, who has two Harvard degrees (April 5, 2012)
“It’s not worth moving heaven and earth, spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person.” —Mitt Romney, speaking in 2007 about killing Osama bin Laden,,,
“I’m not familiar precisely with what I said, but I’ll stand by what I said, whatever it was.”
“I believe in an America where millions of Americans believe in an America that’s the America millions of Americans believe in. That’s the America I love.”

We have to tell each other the truth, right?

Remember: a “tax credit” is usually just another term for “tax increase.” Someone gets the credit and the rest of us pay more.

Don’t worry Chris Christie….. “Well everybody’s got a secret Sonny
Something that they just can’t face”

This is going to my hard core Republican friends. Why are you still supporting Romney?

1) You know he is not going to win.
2) You know as the election heats up, his Bain Capital experience will make Republicans untouchable for decades.
3) You can’t pin down where Romney stands on anything.
4) He tied his dog to a car.
5) He stands with black people and says “Who let the dogs out, woof, woof.”

Most of you are telling me, “I certainly can’t vote for Obama. I guess I’m not voting for President this time.”

Let’s say, just for argument sakes there was a presidential candidate out there who says to have good government you need: …………………

1. Become reality driven. Don’t kid yourself or others.
Find out what’s what and base your decisions and actions
on that.

2. Always be honest and tell the truth. It’s extremely
difficult to do any damage to anybody when you are
willing to tell the truth–regardless of the
consequences.

3. Always do what’s right and fair. Remember, the more
you actually accomplish, the louder your critics become.
You’ve got to learn to ignore your critics. You’ve got to
continue to do what you think is right. You’ve got to
maintain your integrity.

4. Determine your goal, develop a plan to reach that
goal, and then act. Don’t procrastinate.

5. Make sure everybody who ought to know what you’re
doing knows what you’re doing. Communicate.

6. Don’t hesitate to deliver bad news. There is always
time to salvage things. There is always time to fix
things. Henry Kissinger said that anything that can be
revealed eventually should be revealed immediately.

7. Last, be willing to do whatever it takes to get your
job done. If you’ve got a job that you don’t love enough
to do what it takes to get your job done, then quit and
get one that you do love, and then make a difference.

Honesty. Integrity. Principal.

Sounds good so far. Let us say just for argument, he had chief executive experience. Let us say just or argument that he once ran a state, one of the fifty in this union. Let us say while governor, this is what he did…..

During his tenure, New Mexico experienced the longest period without a tax-increase in the state’s entire history.

1) He cut the rate of government growth in half,

2) Left the New Mexico state government with a budget surplus and 1000 fewer employees (without firing anyone),

3) Privatized half of the prisons in the state,

4) Brought a state-wide school voucher system to New Mexico.

5) Vetoed 750 bills (more than all the vetoes of the other 49 Governors in the country at that time, combined) with only 2 overrides, earning him the nickname Gary “Veto” Johnson.

6) In 1999, Johnson became the highest-ranking elected official in the United States to advocate the legalization of drugs.

7) Shifted Medicaid to managed care.

ISN’T THAT WHAT YOU WANT? ISN’T THAT WHAT WE NEED?

Can you not think of a better way to show your lack of enthusiasm over a wealthy capitalist buying his way to the top of your ticket, by voting for someone who has character, who does what you’ve always wanted, a doer, not a talker?

And to think…. you were simply just going to throw your vote away.

His name is Gary Johnson. He is the new party’s candidate for President.

Remember Republicans. It is your values that are important. If your party has given up and moved on from your values, don’t think you have to be loyal to the word…. “Republican”… What you have to be loyal too, is yourself. Always. Never lie to yourself.

You don’t need to waste your vote on Romney. You probably need to find more about this guy, Gary Johnson, and then throw your support behind him.

Don’t worry it is not one of the two parties on whose ticket he is running. Remember, at one point in time, the Republican Party was a once a third party too. One that went mainstream because of its core values, its principles resonated with everyday American People.

They didn’t know they were saying it. But if you take the numbers given, 50 million daily users… Total of 1 billion registered….

50 million divided by 7 billion (earth’s population) means 0.7% of the worlds population used MegaUpLoad on a daily basis. This population total includes those with no computer access, such as the rural Chinese, Indonesian peasants, and unknown Indians in the Amazon Rain Forest….

7 out of every 1000 people on this planet who used MegaUpLoad on a daily basis, is a rather large number if you think of it…

Estimates from major servers put around 500 million the number of computers on this planet… that means there were twice more users signed up at MegaUpLoad than there are computers active on the planet. 50 million daily users means one in ten computers on the planet, were involved with the server MegaUpLoad…..

Federal Prosecutors have said they are done with the data they needed. They have turned over the property rights of the items on the servers to those servers contracted to MegaUpLoad to store the information. Since MegaUpLoad’s assets are frozen, the servers will begin deleting the information on Groundhog Day, February 2nd.

Within that deletion will be 0.00002% of those files that may be pirated. Also deleted, will be files by small businesses, job related data people stored at work, digital family pictures stored for safe keeping…

You see, when you have a server with free storage, a lot of people who access the Internet only through the means of a shared computer, … have a need for it.

If piracy is such a “huge” issue, then one would think more than 10 people or 0.00002% of its users, would be arrested… Those 10 who have charges filed against them, and who no doubt will be found innocent when given the chance to a trial before an impartial jury…., aren’t really much of a threat at all.

The 99.99998% of the rest of its users, who are about to have their life’s history erased , deserve to be a little miffed..

Unfortunately, to completely put this into proper perspective … out of the 100% of those who crashed the world’s economy back in 2008…. the heads of Goldman-Sachs, J.P. Morgan, AIG, Bank of America, and other players on Wall Street … 0% have been arrested and charged…

Apparently, destroying the world’s pension funds, bankrupting whole countries, dissolving entire banking empires, all on false information which you knew beforehand to be untrue, is far less a crime than not paying .89 cents for a song you got off of YouTube for free….

The world is a little topsy-turvey, don’t you think?

Would any American support a law imposed on us by the Soviet Union?

Would any American support a law imposed on us by Communist China?

Would any American support a law imposed on us by Islamic Iran?

Would any American support a law imposed on us by Mexico?

Would any American support a law imposed on us by Canada?

Would any New Yorker support a law imposed on them by South Carolina?

Would any South Carolinian support a law imposed on them by New York?

Would any Delawarean support a law imposed on them by Alaska?

No?

When put in this perspective, the phrase…”it’s the law…” rings rather hollow…

It’s the law… of what? It’s the law of…. who? It’s the law decided by whom?…… What reference does this law have to me?

Such is every Americans feeling to corporate law… These laws were applied to the lawbooks without our knowledge. These laws were applied to the lawbooks without our approval… There laws were applied to the lawbooks not in an open environment, but subtlely sneaked in, unannounced, unnoticed, unapproved, unsubstantiated, and unconstitutional…..

These laws that are being upheld, benefit a very thin percentage of people, a razor thin percentage of people. at the expense of the majority…..

Rick Santorium stands up and states we are a nation of law. We follow the rule of law…

Yes, we will follow a rule of law onto which a majority of us signs on to… But nowhere in our contract with America did we agree to follow laws that have not been sanctioned by the Constitution as being legal. Nowhere in our contract with America, did we agree to follow the phantom that corporations were human beings. that corporations had just as much right as people to write laws, get them passed, and then uphold them… as if they were people….

There are times when breaking the law, is better than following it…

If you don’t believe me, just ask Jesus.

If an EMP went off right now, what would happen? Let’s say it was caused naturally, and not from an earthly application… Just stop for a second and imagine if in one split second, all electronics got fried…

What could you do? You would initially do just what you do when the power goes out. You would get up, open the door, look at all your neighbors opening the door looking back at you, say a few words, and go back into wait for the power to come on…

You might get suspicious when your cell phone wouldn’t turn on, or not being primed to consider what the possibilities were, you might just think your battery picked that interlude to die…. You might likewise get suspicious when your car wouldn’t show life. You might curse your luck that the power went off, your cellphone battery died, and your car now needs a new battery, all in the same afternoon… You couldn’t get a hold of anyone to help, and so you walk over to your neighbor. He’s out back trying to get his generator started. It won’t work either. He’s mad as hell and is taking it back to Lowes where he bought it.. and he finds his Ford Pickup battery has died too… Oh the terrible luck …

So you walk to the store and see no one is open, everything is temporarily closed until the power kicks back on….

Only it won’t come on… ever.. I mean ever… Well at least in your life time…

Why? simply put, every electrical component, every magnet, every fuse, every connector, will have to be replaced from your house to the nearest power plant. .. Even if somewhere a power plant opened, and produced, that would leak all over the country unless someone actually got up and cut the wires to keep that power from dissipating and becoming too weak to do any good…

So new power plants would have to be built. New wires strung, new transformers built, forget about the ones on the shelf for emergencies, they’re shot too. Everything would need to be rebuilt from scratch…

And we would have no access to the information that told us how to rebuild….

This is how civilizations disappear rather quickly.. They become so specialized, that no one can put everything back together. It mimics the Tower of Babel accounting.. “There once was a great civilization, that evaporated instantly” is how most scholars view the accounting of that story today…

To survive, you would have no heat.. unless you had either a fireplace of wood stove. Everything else is electrical unless your unit dates back before 1990…. You would have no transportation. You couldn’t buy a working car. The first cars to be made would have to be created from scratch, at a factory, that unfortunately had no power.

Your world would shrink to where you could walk. There would be no news, unless someone walked to tell you what they saw in Wilmington. And what someone from Philadelphia had told them when they had walked from there, and rumors that had been told from those who had walked from New York, and from New Jersey, and up south from Washington and Baltimore…

Was any of America working? NO one knew… Once a military fighter roared overhead, and it was the first sound heard since the event, and all raced outside to cheer… But that was it.. Hope was that someone, somewhere out there, was in charge, and was working to make our lives return to normal…

But years went by…. Most people moved from the cities. Many died of disease, and starvation, and life became involved of defending oneself and ones property from those that wanted to take it… To live, you really had to sell yourself to an Overlord, who was intimidating enough that no one moved into your neighborhood because of him.. Most of what you made, he took as payment for protecting you. It included your children.

The once great civilization, was erased. No one knew about Rome. No one knew about Babylon. No one knew about Greece… unless it was from the old Bibles kept in decorative cabinets. Some books existed, but most had been burned to keep warm that first winter…
Just like that… Our huge skyscrapers, began to fall, one by one, each time covering the streets with an overbearing dust cloud.

Nature began to reclaim her own. The ice caps grew back. The seas lowered. The flora and fauna multiplied as people perished. The children heard stories, about the world being round, and names like China and Japan that could be found on old artifacts. But, without any reinforcement, they gradually faded from all knowledge…

The question I want to raise is this. Is our education system as it stands now, capable of continuing civilization as we know it, in and if, such a natural event were to occur? Or non natural event?

Do we currently teach enough basics so anyone can build a computer, build a electronics kit, and repair cars, generators, home electrical appliances, were such an event to occur?

It is not hard; the hard part is that no one knows how to do it.

If everyone knew simple basic electricity, and how things worked, we’d have power in some places within a week, and withing three months, we’d be 50% back to normal. We would be back to normal within three years.

Our current educational system is teaching us the wrong things…. We are focused on the wrong items. We test for the wrong items. We do not teach the basic knowledge our life needs right now…

It should be: A: fixing your phone/ and or computer.
B: fixing your generator.
C: fixing your vehicle.

This knowledge is vital for national security. It needs to be taught to every man, woman, and child… 3 x 6 equaling 18 doesn’t do much.. Nor does Black History Month, or proper English Grammer, or American History, or Economics, or ………….

Our first grade needs to begin…. “Ok, kids…. this is a 1… this is a 0…… All of life revolves around those two numbers…”

There are the two extremes.

One, a person who makes an invention, should be able to make money off his idea, and not have it stolen out from under him, by someone else…

Two, we have a right to our own thoughts and since all thoughts are incorporations of other people’s thoughts, for free speech to occur, we cannot hold everyone liable for everything borrowed they say….

Where do we draw the line?

“The Congress shall have power…To promote the progress of science and useful arts, by securing for limited times to authors and inventors the exclusive right to their respective writings and discoveries;”

Limited time.

So if I was talking to Nancy, and said, hey did you hear the new Radiohead Song about Christine O’Donnell and she said no, and I sang it to her (rather well I might add), then I would have violated the Constitution by violating the exclusive right of Radiohead to be the first one to let Nancy in on that song….

But, if pursued, I would be safe under the Free Speech clause of the Constitution…

So if I was talking to Liberal Geek, and had these great Pink Floyd lyrics that just fit a current event and repeated them to him, I would be violating the Constitution by not allowing Pink Floyd the exclusive right to be the first to let him on that correlation.

But, if pursued, I would be safe under the Free Speech clause of the Constitution.

And so, if using the Internet, I were to take a YouTube clip of a campaigner, say sucking on a corndog, and say this is what campaigning has boiled down to, why aren’t we discussing issues anymore”.. I would be violating the Constitution by not allowing that person, whomever it might be, the right to be the first to make that correlation….

Bit if pursued. I would be protected under my first amendment rights…. My right to free speech…

Now, lets say, I did post a corndog picture. or one of Obama smoking a cigarette, or one of Obama with a hole in his head… and got arrested….

I would say I was protected under the Freedom of Speech clause of the Constitution. Right?

No, not if the SOPA bill currently supported by Chris Coons, John Carney, or Tom Carper, gets voted on and passed…

Also, 99% of YouTubes videos will be yanked, if this bill becomes law.

Also, 99% of Googles information, will be pulled, or hidden, if this bill becomes law.

Also 99% of Yahoo’s and the other search engines, will have to scrub a majority of their files… if this bill becomes law…

This is a dumb law.. Really, really, really dumb…

Just like the last dumb law pushed by the entertainment lobby. To make VCR’s illegal.

“We are going to bleed and bleed and hemorrhage, unless this Congress at least protects one industry that is able to retrieve a surplus balance of trade and whose total future depends on its protection from the savagery and the ravages of this machine. … I say to you that the VCR is to the American film producer and the American public as the Boston strangler is to the woman home alone.”
Jack Valenti before Congress April 12 1982.

The VCR business made millions for the entertainment industry.

I just used that without their permission.

I could be shut down, and so, could Wikipedia…

Without which, what’s the point of having internet?

Correct me if I’m wrong. But today, I speak more on the internet than I do with real people. How about you? True or False?

We the people have the right, based on precedence and common sense, to have our own thoughts without having to worry about them being monitored, stored, and used against us at a later date.

It needs to be clear. The Internet is free. Copying a song and sending it, is the exact same thing as humming a tune to another person. Under no circumstances is if allowable for a government to shut down a site, that is involved with the dissemination of information. Information is not open for discussion. It is everything on the internet.

This bill is too loose and like the Patriot Act, too invasive. The entertainment industry already makes billions. None of that, or only a tiny fraction, goes to the personnel who created the object.

The fact that we should all never again speak freely, should always temper what we say, so they can make another $10,000… is absolutely obscene…

You need to let them know.

Republican speaker of the House, invited Jim Plante to Obama’s job speech as an example of how federal regulations stymied business.

Apparently Mr. Plante’s company, Pathway, was about to land a contract with Walgreens to sell it’s kits nationwide, and then was violently attacked by the FDA and Walgreen’s pulled out….. “Oh what a horrible crime it was…”

Republicans just licked it up……. “Despite being in compliance with all available FDA regulations, the FDA attacked Pathway in the media following the announcement of the partnership. (Walgreens) consequently backed out, and Pathway was unable to create those 100 new high-paying jobs.”

And now…. the other side of the story……

The kit, sold under the brand name Insight, comes with a vial and a shipping envelope. Buyers send a sample of their saliva to a Pathway Genomics laboratory and receive their genetic health report online.

“GAO investigators sent samples taken from the exact same person to four companies, the report said. In one case, the companies told the same donor he was at below-average, average and above-average risk for the same diseases.

In another case, a patient implanted with a pacemaker to control irregular heart beat was told he was at decreased risk of developing the heart condition…….

An undercover investigation by the Government Accountability Office found that four genetic testing companies delivered contradictory predictions based on the same person’s DNA. Investigators also found that test results often contradicted patients’ actual medical histories.

In other words, it was totally faked….

So, Republicans apparently think anyone should be able to sell anything medical with no oversight or regulation… In their mind, having a regulatory agency just say: “hey, this simply doesn’t match up to the claims it is making…” is bad for business…

As they used to say in Little Italy… “Yep, it might be bad for business, but that means it’s good for the rest of us…”

Republicans on the other hand, said: “Pathway was chosen because it and the others “exemplify businesses and sectors hurt by excessive Washington-imposed barriers preventing them from innovating, growing and creating more jobs.”

Duh… it would have been a whole different ballgame if the stupid kits had worked…. Before the era of Republicans, it used to be fraud to make claims that could not be backed up under testing….

The Republicans way around such blatant fraud? Eliminate the FDA as was done in Congressman Ryan’s budget…

Fact is, if only because of Republicans, we need the FDA, now more than ever. When all someone has to do is say they know the Republican Speaker of the House, to get approval to sell us all something that could possibly send us down a deadly dead end, making us fear we have a horrible condition we don’t have… All because someone hired for $7.25 in the office flipped a coin, and made it up on the spot, that we did have that severe medical condition.. ….

Republicans … “They are the personification of evil in the modern world”…– Ronald Reagan.

Synopsis: A medical company makes blatant claims that it’s product does good. It then misrepresents that it’s product has passed all necessary safety tests and is effective. When the agency in charge of testing says, “No! We weren’t given this product to test”, it correctly causes the retailer to pull out of poor business decision; Republicans cry and call it “excessive regulation”….

Obviously what we need is MORE excessive regulation…… preferably before we kill off all 100 million aged Americans.

First it was Donald Trump’s amateur fillies… now it’s the professionals… Delaware has lost twice to California…

In the Ms USA pagent, Delaware’s own Katie Hanson, lost to Ms California who naturally, took the crown… When it came to Thoroughbreds, Delaware did a little better……

Delaware’s Havre De Grace, took the lead and California’s blind luck, just came up in time for the wire.

Even when he drew even with Havre de Grace, Gomez said he was unsure Blind Luck was going to get past her.

“We came up to her and she fought back,” her rider, Gomez said. “I thought I might be in a little trouble. But with this filly, as soon as you pull her out and she pins her ears back, she accelerates in two jumps.”

It was all the horse…..
“My horse dragged me to the front, and turning for home she gave me all she had and really kept on digging,” said Dominguez, who was the dominant rider at Delaware Park when he rode there from 2003-2008. “It was just a head bob and the other filly got up just in time.”

The final time of 2:01.28 was the fastest running of the Del Cap since Unbridled Belle’s 2:01.16 in 2006.

It may seem unfair that “great big ole California” beats out the state with the fewest number of counties (only 3) … but, if you compare populations, the simple fact that quite often Delaware and California are pitted neck to neck just before the final wire, it is fair to say that with California’s population of 37,253,956 versus Delaware’s of 897,934 it takes roughly 41.49 Californians, to match up to and equal one Delawarean….. 🙂

We may be small, but we ARE tough!
