Seriously,  since we are deciding the fate of the world as put by the Guardian, but they termed it the “fate of the free world.”

Which is more relevant?

A)  College Transcripts and Passport Applications from before 1980?

B)  Tax Returns for 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005m 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000?

Every Presidential wanna-be releases 12 years of tax forms:  Why hasn’t Mitt Romney?  The American People want to know,  Donald… Where is your bet to Romney to publicly release his income tax returns before 5 o’clock, Tuesday, October 30th?

Donald, the American people have questions.  The American people need to know if their president has violated any tax laws or has committed any crimes before putting Mitt Romney into the White House…  Oh, he’s your guy.  That’s why you went back 40 years asking for some dumb transcript…..

Donald,  you are such a joke….. Ha, ha, ha… (psst. We are laughing AT you, .. not with you…)..

This totally blows Donald Trumps announcement out of the water.  Sorry Donald, take a seat on page ten.   TMZ reports that in the unsealing of divorce documents today of a divorce case between the head of Staples and his ex,  under oath Mitt Romney testified that “Staples was worth nothing” and “its founder was a dreamer”.  Then as soon as the divorce was final,  Mitt Romney and his friend, both took their stocks to Goldman Sachs and cashed them in for a fortune.

The lying under oath part, is as tricky as that which applied to Clinton.  It will depend upon what “is” means.  Could Mitt have been telling the truth and then just days later, the stock went from zero to millions?

But no matter which definition “is” was, it went through a “Republican” House of Representatives in what historians now deem a purely partisan travesty of justice.  Considering the unconscionable infidelity was simultaneously being practiced by Newt Gingrich and Henry Hyde, who while cheating on THEIR spouses,  they were condemning the president for doing it to his.

Republicans will no doubt dismiss lying under oath as being inconsequential, and surely not a high crime or misdemeanor which could ever be considered worthy of impacting the President of the United States.

What goes around…. comes around…   Karma is a bitch…

(UPDATE:  As I was putting in the tags, a pattern clicked. Why is it that “lying” is almost always involved as being central to every story written about Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan? Here it is again. If we elect a Republican, we, who have been warned over and over and over again, surely will deserve all the horrible things we will get out of these next four miserable years… )

This is from the Guardian, a UK paper.  Somethings are clearer when you look across a large body of water.

Donald Trump wants Barack Obama to publish his college and passport records.  Trump announced on Wednesday that he would donate $5m to a charity of Obama’s choosing, if the president handed over his “college records and applications, and passport application and records”.

But when the Guardian contacted Trump’s office to ask for Trump’s college and passport records, it was accused of “trying to be funny” and the request was deemed to be “stupid”.

Yes!  Exactly!!!

All were a little disappointed in the Donald that after a full week’s buildup of pre-publicity, his stunt was no more than simply ask for more information.

And this guy want’s to be president?

(And I know that it would be impossible for me to get my records together in two weeks) I hope Obama takes him up on it after he’s confirmed another 4 years.  Charities are hurting out there, and $5 million would come in handy to any one of them.

Romney: This Fall I’m proudly supporting Richard Mourdock for US Senate.

Mourdoch: “Life is that gift from God and I think even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape that it is something God intended to happen.” I’m Mitt Romney and I approve of this message.

Paul Ryan campaigning with Mourdock just this Monday in Indianapolis……

Ryan: “Please, please send us Richard Mourdock. We need this man in the United States Senate,” Ryan told a midday crowd of more than 100 people who had paid at least $1,000 per ticket. Ryan transferred $5000 to Mourdock in June.” I’m Mitt Romney and I approve of this message,

As an aside, it would be wise to remember that we all have friends and we do not believe in everything they do. But we are ALL, influenced by our friends. We may not fully subscribe to their views, but we fully go out of our way not to step on our friends view.

If Romney is elected; things will definitely get worse for women. Don’t believe me? Just look at Romney’s friends.

At first such a headline sounds trite and unthoughtful. Oh, it’s the simple linking of two words to forge a relationship. The proper name for that inside the English Language, is zeugma, a term borrowed from the Greeks.

But there appears to be something there. From a woman’s point of view, rape has been in the news a lot lately. And I don’t mean the physical reporting of actual rapes, they seem to be less than in the past. But the philosophical discussion about rape, has almost dominated the political discussions across this political season.

We have offensive laws proposed requiring wands inserted by strangers up into ones vagina.
We have the Akins physical slip of legitimizing rape in some circumstances.
We have the Bodenweiser situation here in Delaware. As if by being extremely religious, he was beyond reproach.
We have the Murdoch debate from last night. Rape is protected by God.

They show a crack in the Republican armor.

When confronted, the wiggle and try to hide what they meant, which was that rape is a “so what” type of crime.

Here are some of the responses Republicans bring up when confronted by this acceptance of rape as a normal human attribute.

Rapes happen.
She asked for it.
She should have kept herself locked up.
It’s just sex.
She’s lying. She wanted it too.

And if she gets pregnant.

It’s god’s child, not hers.
It’s life; we have to preserve life; the mother is unimportant.
It’s ok to rape if a man wants sex and a woman doesn’t.
The woman is required to be submissive to the man.
She must keep the child, because God is punishing her, and the child is her cross to bear.

I don’t know how many of you sit in cross examinations. But most of you have seen fake ones on television dramas. They are not alike, trust me, but there is one things that reigns true over both. If someone is trying to hide something from you, they don’t come right out and tell you.

Instead you have to look at the peripheral, and use questioning tactics to force them to explain anomalies from their story. What is buried internally, invariably slips out. Then, forcing them to explain those things eventually uncovers that which they are working so hard to hide.

It is safe to say, that the Republican Party has no concern for women. They will use women, but they do not have any concern. It is a man’s world in the Republican Party. And as long as a woman supports the notion that woman must be submissive to man, and she wins votes, she can be a part of that party…..

Is it ok to rape?

Look at the bigger picture.

Rape of the Budget Surplus put in place by Clinton.
Rape of people’s property rights under eminent domain.
Rape of animals rights encouraging wanton killing.
Rape of the earth’s resources, putting profits ahead of cleaning up after themselves.
Rape of Earth’s Climate; encouraging Global Warning.

There is a tendency for Republicans to rape everything they get their hands on.
Look at the rape of Republican Chris Christie’s New Jersey Budget.
Look at the rape of Tea Party’s Rick Scott of Florida’s budget.
Look at the rape of Koch’s Scott Walker, of Wisconsin’s ones prosperous financial health.
Look at the rape of Ronald Reagan’s use of borrowed money to fund his bounce back economic times.

And then contrast that, to the healthy building of mutual sustaining policies that benefit everyone whenever Democrats have full power…..

If Republicans = Rape, then Democrats = Long, lasting, happy marriages…….

Don’t take my word for it. Skim any newspaper.

Fresh from yesterday’s victory, President Obama spoke in DelRay, Florida this morning and went on to Dayton, Ohio.

Mitt Romney began his “apology” tour…..

Mitt Romney tries to be who he is with at the moment.

Fourteen times he agreed with President Obama’s policy.
When with Tea Partiers he agrees with them; his campaign issues a correction.
When his audience is swing votes, Romney is liberal and agrees with them; his campaign issues a correction.

When he was campaigning for the Tea Party vote, picking Ryan (Tea Partier) as his running mate, he was hemorrhaging in polls across America. The race was over.

America tuned in for the first debate, and here was a liberal, bashing Obama for not fulfilling his liberal promises.

There was no mention what the campaign said before, that it endorsed probing pregnant vagina’s with wands.
There was no mention what the campaign said before, that ALL of Obamacare would be removed, even the good parts.
There was no mention that we needed to threaten Iran and that would make it stop its making bombs.

Instead, he is for abortion; his campaign issues a correction.
Instead he will keep Obama care, just fund it differently; his campaign issues a correction.
Instead he will sanction Iran, not bomb them, which is just what Obama is doing right now…..

In last nights debate?
I will do what Obama is doing in Iran.
I will do what Obama is doing in Israel.
I will do what Obama is doing in Libya.
I will do what Obama is doing in China.

Forcing Glenn Beck to tweet: He’s just like Obama; whats the point of voting.

Well, if you are Republican and just can’t bring yourself to vote Obama, you should check our Gary Johnson, former Republican Governor of New Mexico, who is now running as a third party candidate on the Libertarian Party’s banner.

He, not Romney, is a Republican who is consistent and who is one you can trust…. If Obama is going to win anyways, what’s the better alternative? Not vote for anyone? Vote for Obama (who has worked to deserve it btw) or… vote for someone who believes exactly as you do…. For you disgruntled Republicans, his website is below….

Gary Johnson 2012

The Salt Lake Tribune article quoted in the post below, puts their finger directly on the problem.

We don’t know which Mitt Romney will show up!

When he’s with Tea Partiers, his policy bends to the Tea Party.
When he’s with corporate moneybags, his policy bends to their needs.
When he’s courting a liberal audience on the debates, his policy bends to liberalism.

There appears to be an urgent need to please. A psychological urge to say the right things, and avoid confrontation whenever possible.

Tonight, he sat with the President.

He said fourteen times: I agree with the president, then goes on to repeat verbatim what Obama just said. Because he was repeating Obama, even I found some of what he said was agreeable, presidential, and the correct assessment. It appears that in foreign relations, we will not have any “daylight” between what Romney would do, and what Obama would do…

There’s a problem.

Just last week, Romney said something else. On Iran, he said we needed to draw a line and go to war with Iran. Tonight, he said war was off the table.

Just last week, Romney said we needed to get tough on China. Then tonight, in a very revealing episode that I hope America caught, he said: We need China. I would do nothing to offend China. Then 2 minutes later, he says on day one he will lable China a currency manipulator, and get tough on everything else, (back to where he was two weeks ago.)

If you don’t listen to what he says, it sounds nice. A gentlemanly man, nice suit, looking earnest, likeable, sophisticated, makes a good presentation.

If you listen to him on the radio, you miss all that. You get what he says. And what he says, is all over the map.

He will say anything to get elected.

Now that’s the joke of politicians every where. But is it good for America? If we tell the Israeli’s we will bomb Palestine, and tell Palestine we will defend them against Israel, then one of them is going to start something just because they think we got their back…..

So, what’s he going to do about China.
He’s going to be tough and be concilitory.
So, what’s he going to do about Iran.
He’s going to do what Obama did, sanctions.
So, what would he have done in Egypt?
He would have done what Obama did.
So, what is he going to do in Afghanistan?
He will do what Obama did.
So, what is he going to do with Russia?
He will do what Obama did.
So, what is he going to do in Antarctica?
Uhhh, President Obama, would you like to go first here?

If you are a dumb American, you probably don’t know that Romney campaigned on the opposite of all these up until this one debate.

Russia is our number one enemy.
Obama is indecisive on Israel.
Obama is indecisive on Iran.
I will put more troops back into Iraq.
I will put pressure on China and show them who is boss.
I would have supported Muburack.
I would have stayed out of Libya.
I would not have gone after Osama Bin Laden.

Now, he says he never said “let Detroit go bankrupt?” When that has been the campaign for 18 months?
Now, he says he will increase the deficit by $8 trillion and balance the budget?
Now. he says the deficit is our number one priority and he will cut the money coming in to pay our bills by 5 trillion to balance the budget?
Now, he says he is for abortion, when last week he would overturn Roe versus Wade on day one.

And it all depends upon the audience he is with, at that moment. He doesn’t even know what he believes in it seems. He just wants you to like him; he’ll tell you what you want to hear….

And as the Salt Lake Tribune puts it, it is not coy. It is a shameless disregard for the truth.

Romney’s character flaw, is dangerous. Who is he going to be in office? The guy who was crashing in the polls until he reinvented himself in the first debate by being Liberal? And, if we are to truly believe this guy… where are those missing tax forms?

Mitt gets Mitted Out
Obama deserves another term the Salt Lake City Tribune said.

Perhaps the republicans didn’t hear that too good.

Obama deserves another term.
Obama deserves another term.

Obama deserves another term.

Obama deserves another term.

Obama deserves another term.

Obama deserves another term.

For over thirteen years I’ve been saying not all republicans are stupid… Now finally, finally,  FINALLY!..  I am proved correct…  The people on the Salt Lake City Tribune, are not stupid….  They are Republican.  Actually, all of Utah is Republican, (I believe it was two weeks ago split 80/20 in favor of Romney…)

Of course in America anyone can say what they want.  But few can put it as eloquently as this…..

First the build up of Mitt……

Nowhere has Mitt Romney’s pursuit of the presidency been more warmly welcomed or closely followed than here in Utah. The Republican nominee’s political and religious pedigrees, his adeptly bipartisan governorship of a Democratic state, and his head for business and the bottom line all inspire admiration and hope in our largely Mormon, Republican, business-friendly state.
But it was Romney’s singular role in rescuing Utah’s organization of the 2002 Olympics from a cesspool of scandal, and his oversight of the most successful Winter Games on record, that make him the Beehive State’s favorite adopted son. After all, Romney managed to save the state from ignominy, turning the extravaganza into a showcase for the matchless landscapes, volunteerism and efficiency that told the world what is best and most beautiful about Utah and its people.

Wow.. what a great guy… If that was all there was, even I’d think I’d might vote for him…. But the Salt Lake Tribune goes on… and expressly lays out why Mitt Romney would be “not good” for America.

It is not the only Romney, as his campaign for the White House has made abundantly clear, first in his servile courtship of the tea party in order to win the nomination, and now as the party’s shape-shifting nominee. From his embrace of the party’s radical right wing, to subsequent portrayals of himself as a moderate champion of the middle class, Romney has raised the most frequently asked question of the campaign: “Who is this guy, really, and what in the world does he truly believe?”

Then, the reason…..

The evidence suggests no clear answer….Romney, though, is shameless, lavishing vastly diverse audiences with words, any words, they would trade their votes to hear.

So, Romney once had it, but  lost their trust… Now what about Obama?

For four years, President Barack Obama has attempted, with varying degrees of success, to pull the nation out of its worst financial meltdown since the Great Depression, a deepening crisis he inherited the day he took office.

In the first months of his presidency, Obama acted decisively to stimulate the economy. His leadership was essential to passage of the badly needed American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Though Republicans criticize the stimulus for failing to create jobs, it clearly helped stop the hemorrhaging of public sector jobs. The Utah Legislature used hundreds of millions in stimulus funds to plug holes in the state’s budget.

The president also acted wisely to bail out the auto industry, which has since come roaring back. Romney, in so many words, said the carmakers should sink if they can’t swim.

Obama’s foreign policy record is perhaps his strongest suit, especially compared to Romney’s bellicose posture toward Russia and China and his inflammatory rhetoric regarding Iran’s nuclear weapons program. Obama’s measured reliance on tough economic embargoes to bring Iran to heel, and his equally measured disengagement from the war in Afghanistan, are examples of a nuanced approach to international affairs.

Then back to their former favorite son.

The Salt Lake Tribune editorial board had hoped that Romney would exhibit the same talents for organization, pragmatic problem solving and inspired leadership that he displayed here more than a decade ago. Instead, we have watched him morph into a friend of the far right, then tack toward the center with breathtaking aplomb. Through a pair of presidential debates, Romney’s domestic agenda remains bereft of detail and worthy of mistrust.

And the final….

Our endorsement must go to the incumbent, a competent leader who, against tough odds, has guided the country through catastrophe and set a course that, while rocky, is pointing toward a brighter day. The president has earned a second term. Romney, in whatever guise, does not deserve a first.

That’s it…   Why any rational or unrational person would still support Mitt, after the performance we have seen, is completely beyond human understanding…

It’s the Tea Party’s fault.  They are the ones who ruined Mitt, making him kneel before them for their blessing, and then have to mainsteam himself  for a general election, causing him to look like a bumbling fool in the attempt…  Republicans… how long are you going to keep putting up with these Conservatives who not only ruined the Republican Party in this fair state, but ruined the Republicans chance at a national office?  If you can’t control your own,  how can the rest of us put any trust in you to run our lives without unnecessary drama?..

So now Massachusetts and Utah,  both Mitt’s home turfs, are telling us… “uhhh, we know him… don’t vote for this guy….”

It’s forward with Obama.  And if you don’t like that and have to blame someone… Blame the Tea Party….
