As parents we tell our little children they should never use violence to find their solution. Always seek another way we tell them… Violence is bad, disruptive, and creates additional problems.

However, if we do, and we channel those children into non violent opposition which is completely ineffective, and they get slaughtered, imprisoned, or enslaved; did we correctly fulfill our parental duty in preserving our genetic line?

I’m beginning to think our civilized pacifism has completely failed our youth.

We should be teaching them that across history (American history that is), that “might” makes “right”. Teach them that if you are “agreeable”, conducive to find compromising solutions, then you only get what the mighty want to give you, not what they have to give you.

Just ask native Americans. Or former slaves. Or people in poor neighborhoods.  Do you have the same rights as a rich white person? No?

The reason rich whites have so many protected rights is because they took them.  They took what they wanted from native Americans.  They took what they wanted from Africa’s tribesmen.  They took what they wanted from East Side and South Bridge of Wilmington…  And they gave it all to folks living on Westover Drive… between the Ed Oliver golf course and Barley Mills.

So…

Why does it make sense to riot in ones neighborhood?  To burn down buildings of those who live next door to you, meanwhile while they are burning down the buildings you live in?…. What sense does that make?

What does makes sense is to unite all impoverished and poor people (99% of us) and take our torches to the neighborhoods of the 1% and burn down their houses…..

Think about it…. You are so mad cops killed an innocent boy halfway across the 4th largest nation in the world,  that you take it out on your neighbors… who are probably as upset as are you?…

When instead, you could effectively take out your anger on those who are directly responsible?  The top 1%!  They are the reason no laws are on the books protecting normal children from being murdered by bigot cops. They are the reasons you have nothing to your name, and they have all. They are the reason you can’t get a job, while they pocket what should be yours and all your neighbor’s salaries into the Grand Caymen Islands…

They are the ones who paid for and provided all the riot gear to the police. Who passed laws allowing “their” police to bust heads, and kill, with full protection under the new laws they passed, after getting rid of the laws that originally protected, you… They passed those laws right out in the open, and no one effectively stood up against them then… because apparently, you didn’t care enough to vote.

If you don’t fight Republicans in the voting booth every two years, this is what you get. This is what you deserve.  Like a farmer who never plants, never weeds, never waters, never reaps, who then goes out a Autumn’s end wondering why he is hungry and has no food, it is obvious he deserves his plight from his own laziness… If you want prosperous fields, you have to work at it and not voting-out Republicans, is like not working your farmer’s field…. It’s a pain. It is work. It is necessary if one wants to eat.

In places where the impoverished of all colors have not been allowed to vote freely, situations such as Ferguson arise quickly .  Think for a second.  If you can do anything you want and no one can do anything to stop you, how long does it take before you start taking advantage of your situation?  One hour?  One Day? One Month? One Year?  Try 30 years. Thirty years of not voting for your self interests…

Yet. it continues to this day.

Since voting is no longer an option (being that things have gotten so out of hand that a college student gets shot as a thug simply because of the color of his skin and the neighborhood he is found) one must use the rich white man’s ways against him.

Violence is the next step… However it must be targeted to do tremendous good, instead of giving zero relief at great expense to yourself…

So target effectively and take the violence to those who caused your plight… The one percent.  Go to Westover Farms and burn down their houses, ignite their cars, and battle police there, not your own neighborhoods. Then come home to your safe streets and house, sleep well, and go back tomorrow to do it again…

You have far greater chance to see the changes which must be accomplished, than you ever will for burning down your own neighborhood, which the one percent, all Republicans, actually enjoy seeing be burned to the ground….  “Ha, ha, look at those stupid poor people,” they laugh, ” burning down their neighborhoods so we can rebuild over-top of it with free 99%’rs taxpayer’s money…. Hope they kill all of each other while they are at it and make the world a much better place…. Ha, ha, ha… Poor people are such a trip…”

But when 15,000 people suddenly show up on their street, then among their fear for their own personal safety, come ideas like:  “darn, maybe we should have paid more in taxes so they’d all have jobs now. Darn, maybe we should have paid more in wages instead of cutting them, and making them suffer so.  Darn, maybe we should have done more to eradicate charters and invested more resources and good teachers into our existing public schools.  Darn, maybe we should have done more to make their lives better too, instead of taking everything we could get, keeping it to ourselves, and sending in armed police to crush their spirit by treating them like the 2nd class citizens we think they are… Gee… Maybe we were wrong to listen to Republicans and not to the party of real people, Democrats…”

It is this change that must come in their hearts before any change is made… It will only come when they feel threatened… and right now, there are so few of them, that the only way to threaten them is to go to their neighborhoods…

And if you really want to hurt a rich guy…. like really, really, really, hurt him where he feels it most… destroy the thing he loves above all else...  above his wife (always buy a new one); above his kids ( easily bought off with some coke); above his pets (stupid dog, I’ll have him shot on Monday) ; above his house, (I got 8 more around the country), above his Mercedes (good, insurance pays me more than what I could get on the market)…. tear up his golf course….

If you think it is funny, you really don’t understand rich people…  Their local golf course is their heart.  They can’t walk away like they do their wife, kids, pets, house and car.  They pay their own money to keep a golf course afloat… It is their pride.  It is not insured because, insuring a golf course is a waste of money.. What could possibly happen?

Steal one bulldozer. Make something bad happen to their golf course, and they will understand that they need to make things better for you…

SO VENT YOUR ANGER!… GET VIOLENT!… Rob, loot, and set fire to buildings…. just do all the rest of us a favor and do it in place where the 1% live…  Cause face it… they already got all the money…. No one else could help you…. even if they truly wanted!….

Having no Republicans may not have saved Micheal Brown from being shot by a pure frothing bigot.  But having no Republicans sure would have made sure a grand jury would do what was best for the people, try him, and not deviate to force what would create another joyful situation where the KKK’s bigots in riot gear could bust open some more colored heads and grind their brains into Ferguson’s sidewalks…  That is all this trial was about.  How to create this opportunity to kill even more black Missourians!

It is their fault… Make THEM pay!  Not your neighbors. Yes, their rules say we are supposed to riot in our own neighborhoods… Break them!

New kid killed by cop.  Independence Missouri…

This time, the kids dad is a cop.

Witnesses blame it all on the arresting officer… Wanted to show his buddies he was worthy of the KKK.

If you are black, you need to vote this November… no matter what district you live in.

If you are women, you need to vote this November… no matter what district you live in.

If you have kids in Common Core, you need to vote in this election, no matter what district you live in.

If you are making too little money at work, you need to vote in this election, no matter what district you live in.

The America of the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s is under attack.  Extreme nuts want to take us back to 1859…..

As long as they aren’t completely routed events beyond belief will continue.  Everywhere as well as in Missouri….

This is about hate.  The best way to get rid of hate is to vote for love…  Think about it…

Florida and Missouri…

When was the last national murder outrage in a Democratic state? I think it was in the Republican enclave of LA, with Rodney King, in the otherwise Democratic state of California….

But I don’t know of any in New York. Vermont… Massachusetts…. Rhode Island…. Minnesota…. It always seems to take place in states that have lots and lots of Republicans…. like Missouri… and Florida…..

I don’t mean to cast disparagement upon all Republicans, but this is a puzzling conundrum… Why is it only Republican states that exist in such a state of dysfunction, that when someone murders a black, they get away with no criminal charges?

I think several generalities apply.

One, Republicans are just plain scared of black people. “Don’t get out of your car till he passes”..

Two, Republican philosophy stresses individuality as well as that a government’s rules and regulations should not apply to people and that everyone already in power should be allowed to do whatever it is they wish, because they are the “true” Americans and have a little flag patch on their upper sleeve to prove it….

Three, Republicans believe that having a gun, means killing something… What’s the point of being a policemen (or self-appointed vigilante) if you can’t kill your fellow human beings the Republican mentality goes. We saw it in Florida’s legislature. They throughly enjoyed and almost could not contain their rapture that their law, allowed for the public elimination of a black person. Almost it seemed that any means available to legally kill black people, especially if it gets around that inconvenient(to them) law that says, black people are equal to whites and deserve the same protections,… is something good….

Four, Republicans honestly feel blacks are not people… “Those darky things, over there..” they say. Republicans unlike Democrats, do not see blacks as their fellow brothers or sisters from a different mother…

Five, Republicans have an inflated sense of their own importance. If they tell you to stop, and you do, it gives them the right to shoot you dead… Sort of as in, “I’m SOOOOOOOOO IMPORTANT… I AM THE OMNIPOTENT AND CAN KILL PEOPLE WITH IMPUNITY. BUT IF I KILL WHITE PEOPLE, SOMEONE WILL BE MAD. HEY! BLACK PEOPLE DON’T MATTER. CAUSE ROMNEY, SAID SO…

I’ll stop there. Now keep in mind, not all Republicans feel that way. Chris Christie, for example, would agree exactly with everything I said, if he was talking about a fringe of his party… Because they are a fringe. Just like those clowns at Bundy’s ranch, those people who were too insane for mental internment so we gave them guns and banished them to a desert…. So I think all (even Republicans) can agree. It is this fringe that keeps biting all good Republicans in the ass… And we have to wonder why?

I think we can see the answer right here in Charlie Copeland, who is in charge of trying to mend a party that was shattered into single atoms, back into a viable political entity… In order to have any numbers promoting his self-respect, he has to cater to the fringe: those outlandish impostors who think they alone are a gift to all under-aged women… In Delaware, the far right fringe eliminated all viable Republicans from power. I believe that in other states, which due to their geography may be less Democratic, one encounters far more fringe elements and therefore, the party must due to their numbers, cater to their episodes of psychological dysfunction….

This allows the fringe to think they can act with impunity, and if they want to shoot a black person… what the heck. no one cares… stupid fool happened to show up while I was here… Oh look, he’s stopped running away and is putting his hands up? Good, let me get closer. Ok, he’s only 5 feet away, I can hit that. Let me empty this clip into his freaking big head… Pow. Pow. Pow. Pow. Pow. Pow. Pow. Pow… Ewww wow, neat “O”.. did you see how his head exploded with each hit and all that blood and meat shot everywhere… Cool… Wonder if there is another one I can still shoot?…

And that is my theory on why, white cops shooting underage black children, can only occur in states run by Republicans… Because there is no consequence. If you only said… the next black child who gets killed by a white police man, will cause all handguns, assault rifles, and miniature cannons to become illegal in the state of Missouri or Florida, then such incidents simply would never happen. For there would be real consequences then…. If in your capacity as a police officer you accidentally shot and killed a black child, the NRA would have you dead before the sun rose the next day.

So I heard the aid to our friends in New Jersey and New York was passed and wasn’t really worried. It was supposed to. A meesly 9 Billion dollars and then 51 Billion later. So later, I was thinking, gee, did anyone vote against that… I wasn’t the only one thinking that…

The New York Daily News was at the top of the charts with a front page headline that screams… Remember the 67 Republicans in House of Representatives who turned their backs on Hurricane Sandy victims

The Daily Beast was right behind it….

Yes. All 67 were Republicans… Let’s get what this Republican “NO” vote says… It says, “YOU DO NOT DESERVE EVEN A MEESLY 9.7 BILLION TO BUILD OUT FROM HURRICANE SANDY!!! YOU SUCK YOU EAST COAST LIBERAL FUCKIN’ SCUM.” That is what this vote is saying… It’s not $60 billion. It’s not $100 billion. It’s not a trillion. It’s $9.7 Billion….

The New York Times has a great interactive map showing they yea’s and nay’s…

Some surprises…. or not… Remember, Republicans are the lowest human element here.

Steven Pallazo, Gulf Coast Mississippi… (Remember Hurricane Katrina?) Look what Google pulls up for him…U.S. Rep. Steven Palazzo helps Vietnam vet replace medals lost in Hurricane Katrina Oh, he’ll help his own replace a medal, but won’t help a New Yorker get someplace to live… Typical republican… are you surprised?

Mississippi’s Fourth Congressional District, which Palazzo has represented since 2011, includes the city of Biloxi, one of the most heavily damaged communities in the region by Hurricane Katrina. Congress quickly passed an initial $10.5 billion relief package in the immediate aftermath of Katrina in September of 2005

John Flemming, (R La) Had his own primary and runoff election canceled because of Hurricane Gustav, but voted no on relief for Hurricane Sandy. Flemming was involved in controversy when one of his 33 Subway franchises refused service to two Muslims because of their religion. Perhaps because Muslims live in New York?….

Andy Harris R-MD. EASTERN SHORE including the area of Ocean City, Maryland, which lost it’s pier to Hurricane Sandy…. UNBELIEVINGLY voted no aid to Sandy victims… His response? “This really wasn’t aid for the victims. What this was raising the debt ceiling limit”…. WTF…. Typical republican… are you surprised?

Randy Weber R-TX, took Ron Paul’s district, and just a year ago, was according to his tweeter feed, “Sitting in on a Galveston Erosion Response Plan in Galveston City Hall…” trying to get FEDERAL AID to stem Galveston’s Beach Erosion. But, he won’t support money for ‘dem liberals with no houses up in dat der liberal country.” Typical republican… are you surprised?

This just boggles the mind.

You have Mo Brooks of Alabama, who practically went door-to-door in his state after tornados to explain to them how to best get their federal money

Representative Sam Graves of Missouri…. co sponsored a much greater bill for flooding in his state… His quote…“This bill would take into account the new data points caused by this past year’s flood,” said Rep. Sam Graves. “This will ensure that we are prepared for a new worst-case scenario. As communities, roads and farmland all along the Missouri River begin to dry out, now is the time to start making common sense changes to the way the river is managed. This is a good first-step.” Check out this headline! Graves supporting flood insurance extension, but he won’t fund the exact same bankrupt fund for Hurricane Sandy victims.

But ‘dem Liberals in New York are just panhandlers… they want stuff for free…. typical Republican…. are you surprised?

This is going to be the big story this weekend… It boggles the mind. How can any human being take something for his district, then deny that exact same thing to others?

There is something really sick in America.

Today Romney made this accusation.

“The president’s policies have made it harder to recover from the deepest recession in 70 years, exposed the military to cuts that no one can justify, compromised our national security secrets, and in dealings with other nations, given trust where it is not earned, insult where it is not deserved, and apology where it is not due,”…..

History will show this to be true:

“Republican policies have made it harder to recover from the deepest recession in 70 years, exposed the military to cuts that no one can justify, compromised our national security secrets, and in dealings with other nations, given trust where it is not earned, insult where it is not deserved, and apology where it is not due,”…..

The Democrats have put up 192 attempts to jump start the economy.  Republicans shot down all 192 of them.  Because of these shots intended to bankrupt America, the US will now cut the Pentagons budget in half.  If Democrats had the full majority in both houses, this would never have come to pass.

Because the Pentagon now has their budget cut in half by the Republicans, the US is at risk of attack.  If  missiles were launched today, the US could not respond because they just had power cut off by a private for profit utility over failure to pay the missile site’s electric bill.   This is the Republican legacy.  Past due bills = no power= no missile defense.

The Republican Party has given hope to our biggest enemies.   The Arabic peninsula is cheering over being able to fight Israel again.  Since Obama, all hostilities have stopped.   All plans to bomb American skyscrapers are now being pulled out of mothballs just in case Romney gets elected.  They know he doesn’t have balls to send a Seal team after them.

He’s too prissy to even ride with a dog in his car.

So the secret is out.  America is vulnerable to attack if Mitt Romney gets elected president.  Instead of  our current tough fighter for the American values we have today, we get a sissy who all his life, has ridden other people’s coattails for everything he’s gotten…

America has got to get rid of this clown and the entire Republican party that is his enablers.  We will all die if we do not.

Is it just me, or does anyone else get reminded every time Mitt Romney speaks, of the value system ensconced by those bad kids fraternity in Revenge of the Nerds?

Possibility of another terrorist attack?

Unconfirmed talk is that international terrorist chatter is as high as it was in August of 01, just before the planes came………Definitely expect an attack within 90 days we are told. Code Red.

Wasn’t it a former Pennsylvanian senator named Santorum who said last week that what ultraconservatives needed to push their agenda forward is another terrorist attack like 9/11? What?

Isn’t that what Mitch McConnell is currently peddling around Congress, this heightened level of chatter? But who is the source? Silence…..Is there any independent confirmation? Silence…… The only answer the public hears is a rumble from the gut of Chertoff. ……..Feed me……

The fear every American has, is not from the random violence of a terrorist, who supposedly will fight the sharks and swim across the ocean to get here, but of our own self-appointed president, declaring martial law, stripping us of our rights, in order to stay in power forever. What better method than to use a massive terrorist attack to push ones agenda…… It worked the last time, right?

This time I am not so sure it would work. If one has an employee who makes the same mistake twice, big time, one fires his ass. A terrorist attack is definitely big time. And whose ass did we entrust the last time to make us safe? And now miraculously those same people are telling us that Al Qaeda is as stronger than it was in the summer of 01?

That doesn’t make me scared. It really pisses me off!  How on earth can the greatest country in the world, be completely powerless to contain Robin Hood and his band of merry men, climbing over moon rocks while carrying a kidney machine? Bottom line is that they can’t…. unless not finding him is being done on purpose.

“What is most troubling is that no one in a position of authority is trying to get to the bottom of this.

If GOP leaders like Dennis Milligan (R-Ark) and former Senator Rick Santorum (R-Pa) possess information that could protect the American people from another terrorist attack, the CIA should interrogate them using the techniques our Vice President has approved,” Fetzer observed. “Let’s water-board them and subject them to sexual humiliation. After all, that’s what we are doing to prevent attacks abroad. Why aren’t they being used here? Chertoff appears to be making no effort to get to the bottom of this. Bush can’t claim to be ‘the security president’ if he won’t keep us secure.”How much money have we sunk into Iraq, where according to every nation’s intelligence agencies, there were NO terrorists before we started. How many bridges could we have inspected and repaired in this country if we had used that money less foolishly?……..

If we have an administration that allows us another terrorist attack, this time killing between 30,000 and 300,000, we need to impeach that administration; not give them more power. What the hell have we been spending our children’s money on? and they are telling me that terror is worse now?…. than it was before 9/11?

And they want us to trust who? Should another attack occur, an attack more viscous than 9/11, the ugly truth is that such an attack could only occur because one man fell asleep at the wheel: George W Bush. America will be furious. They will not reward him with powers of tyranny, they will impeach!

Cheney’s diversion in Iraq provided a lull in the war on terrorism. Had we finished Afghanistan first, maybe made a couple or secret raids across the border into Pakistan, there would be no Al Qaeda. But no, we are now being warned of an eminent attack………..

If the unthinkable occurs and we are attacked, America must get it’s own house in order first before striking back. America must replace its 2 leaders with ones who are competent,… so that when our time comes to return the favor to Al Qaeda………we won’t make the same mistake twice………..

Bush can’t claim to be ‘the security president’ if he won’t keep us secure

Hyperbole has its uses. Often points are scored in courtrooms, on televisions, and national debate through the use of hyperbole.

Only by writing, have I fully come to appreciate its usefulness. The effect of such comes not from what is said, but from the thought process that goes through each listeners head as they try to decipher the irrationality of what they have just heard………..Often through that analysis, they make some neural connections that are often quoted as “thinking outside the box…..”

It is unfortunate that in this case, my title is not hyperbole. It is my response to this, which I picked up from a link on Delaware Liberal…..

I have to admit, even though I try to use clean language when I write, when I read this my bowels rolled over and I even said “Oh shit. Here it is.” For amongst ourselves we have been talking about the repeated tendency of our president to laughingly consider himself as a king. And as we did, all of us knew in the back of our minds that the only real rational for such unconstitutional actions was for them to actually think………. that they would someday become one…………

Many of our generation were never schooled in the classics. As one who sprinted through two years of Latin, I would highly recommend that the reading in Julius Caesars’ own words, his argument for the replacement of the Roman democracy with the instillation of himself as its dictator, be required reading for all members of all democracies.

Fortunately today we do not all need to know Latin,…… for the same argument is dramatically portrayed in the last three episodes of the Star Wars Trilogy. The Dark Side is among us……………………………

But this recent executive order scares me…….. for next comes the assassination of our Jedi knights and the heartless slaughter of their future generation……………………….

I am no Jedi knight, but I may have to become one after this..

From the executive order signed days ago……….

I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, find that, due to the unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States,..I hereby order: all property and interests in property of the following persons, that are in the United States, that hereafter come within the United States, or that are or hereafter come within the possession or control of United States persons, are blocked and may not be transferred, paid, exported, withdrawn, or otherwise dealt in:(for) any person..undermining efforts to promote economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq or to provide humanitarian assistance to the Iraqi people.

If one assumes the language is English and that the words therein have the meanings associated with those defined by dictionaries of the English language, then as someone who is adamantly against the Bush Iraqi Oil Grab, I am one of these, I am included. So are most of you…….

So is Dennis Kucinich, Olympia Snow, Joe Biden, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi…….all of us who protest not the war, but it’s failed policy, are in the same boat, for according to Republican Sen. Bunning of Kentucky, anyone who opposes the war, is in effect giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

Despite the reality that the opposite is true, as Dana was quick to point out here, that it is really the policy of George W Bush that has banded and bonded disparate groups (united by their hatred of both al Qaeda and the US) to “GET US OUT OF IRAQ“, ………. under the language of this order, even poor June and Rebecca Young, who have eloquently spoken against the war, are now like Will Smith and Gene Hackman,……………. enemies of the state.

And should we, as patriots, decide to help our friends and neighbors after their bank accounts have been frozen and assets devoured, we too stand on the wrong side of this capricious Ministry of Magic.

Sec. 4. I hereby determine that the making of donations of the type specified in section 203(b)(2) of IEEPA (50 U.S.C. 1702(b)(2)) by, to, or for the benefit of, any person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order would seriously impair my ability to deal with the national emergency declared in Executive Order 13303 and expanded in Executive Order 13315, and I hereby prohibit such donations as provided by section 1 of this order.

To our representative E-ZPass Mike Castle, Republican of Delaware: Our sincere thanks for your silence in support of the dissolution of what was once considered the greatest nation to have ever existed on this planet……….May future generations show you mercy and spare you the infamy that has hitherto, been previously reserved for Benedict Arnold, Judas Iscariot and Pontius Pilate……….

Taking the Easy Pass Lane

So there I was as a young man, traipsing over the grassy knolls of a compound called Dachau……..and the single image of which I could not shake from my mind, was a view back home from the top of the former Twin Towers.………taken while walking  around the observatory in a slow 360 degree circle and realizing that the entire mass of humanity in that circle of twenty miles, was less than the amount of those eradicated by the Nazis, without a whimper from the German people.

And as my eyes watered a bit, ((no I did not cry), I was still too young), while gazing upon the fake showers, and peering into the cyanide vats on the other side, a tiny child’s voice between my ears, kept repeating a phrase I had stumbled across before the tour on the floor inside the museum. ” You saw us being beaten, you saw us wearing stars, you saw us humiliated, you saw us being transported, and YET YOU DID NOTHING……… I remember at the time being quite angry at the timidity and the complicity of the German people. For a brief moment I hated them…….and in a typical fashion common of that gender in possession of high and excessive levels of testosterone, in those emotional moments I vowed that I, (superior being that I was) would never fear or cave in to brutal intimidation………..

Today, my friend’s friend, lies buried in Arlington……And when I clicked on a forgotten link……(do I still need this?…) and saw the face of a very brave New Castle citizen…….looking back from her high school picture…..those jaded eyes of mine wet over again as I slowly realized that I too had failed to live up to that promise I once made on a bright July afternoon, while standing beside a giant trench planted over with flowers……….

So where was I when it happened? What was I doing that was so important as events played around me? Nothing earth shattering really, and if you probe and scrape all the residue away, I was simply way too busy going through motions in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, to really worry making those tough sacrifices that are personally required to implement the necessary changes (piece of crap, I am)……. Then,……… something about that girl’s picture…………..pissed me off. I think it was how much like my own daughter she was……

So what can I do? Not much, I am no Kissinger nor Howard Baker. I cannot bring these people together and make a settlement. But I can make a choice……and that choice is this.

I can choose to STOP DOING NOTHING. I can go on record and suffer the surprise trip to Guantanamo that may come in the middle of the night (risk diminished), or the bullet to the back of the head in some forgotten landfill (not likely), if it comes to that. And most particularly, I can look at those who enabled and supported this administration when it chose to invade a nation that had not attacked us, a nation that had no intention of attacking us, a nation that had nothing to do with 9/11…….but only a nation that had the poor unfortunate distinction, of being the chosen victim that this bully of an administration had decided to make an example of………..long before the 2000 elections were ever held!

If any of you have ever felt that you too have done too little, that you too were lulled and fooled into believing this war made you safer, then come, join me outside Delaware congressman Mike Castle’s office on Friday July 6th. And should you be too busy, I will understand. Most likely you do not have that haunting childlike voice as do I between my ears, that implores ……..AND YET YOU DO NOTHING…….…But if, by some ancient gene, you do…… possess the capacity to know right from wrong, and if…… by the grace of God, you have been given time to come and be counted, and if…… you do not want to pass on, having never made a difference in anything………… then take the half hour, and come and join us; be counted on this upcoming Friday at 11:00am. (Tell Boss-women you have a doctors appointment if you have to……or call on someone you know who feels like you do, and unlike you, has nothing going on at moment in time.)

If ten people show, the war goes on, but us ten can rest at ease that we did our part. If twenty show, our numbers just grew 100% !!…….If hundreds show, one or two lines will appear in the News Journal and it will not have been in vain. If a thousand people show, the Congressman and staff will take notice. And just maybe……just maybe……..find within themselves the moral courage to add their voice to echo ours……..WE CAN MAKE A CHOICE……WE CAN DO SOMETHING.

In democracy, the real leaders are always “We, the people“: it is us who tell the government what We want them to do…… Please……..come with us……….and make our stand?

We had an election, votes were cast, a winner drawn, and a verdict was given by the American electorate. So it’s done, it’s over. .

What direction does one move after the fight is over?

And now with ’08 is rising above the horizon, casting long shadows across the landscape, which way does one move?

Democrats and Republicans alike are perusing all the alternatives of every option. One can get lost in the details. Each candidate is putting “his (or her) take” on each and every problem. And this year, there are soooo many candidates…..

Perhaps in this case it is better to step back, prioritize the problems, and then let every candidate and legislator have a crack at fixing the issues we have at stake.

The priorities need to be thus.

The Economy

The War

Medical Care

The Environment

Our Future Security (social)

To assist and help with the discussion, I have compiled a list of thoughts and organized them into campaign sized bites for any political aspirant to right click, copy, and paste for their own use, and most importantly, you do not even have to credit me. Use the idea as your own.

The world will be much better off if the electorate is informed. And the best way to get this information out there, is to let each and any candidate use this information for their personal gain.

Any Republican, Democrat, or Independent is welcome to use these. I really do mean that.

For it is time, when the best of mankind needs to step forward. We have suffered too long with inadequacy and looking at the landscape before us and the challenges coming to us from the future, we will need our best, our smartest, and our toughest, regardless of party affiliation.

Cooperation needs to be the watchword as we march further into this century. Breaking down party barriers to good governance is not the responsibility of the parties themselves. There goal is to win. We, as voters, are the ones who will determine whether the best person for the job, does indeed get it.

The fast track to do that, is to inspire candidates, who in turn, will inspire America.

The challenges facing us, would paint a scary picture of the future, if those challenges were faced by anyone other than the United States of America. Because bottom line, as a society, we do challenges rather well. And of course, Delaware, “the first state”, needs to lead by example.
