Medical Marijuana I thought originally was just a trick to make smoking it legal again… It thought that perhaps it eased the pain, dulled the mind, or something good like that enabling people in chronic pain to handle it better.

I could not have been more wrong… Why is this knowledge not mainstreamed? (Oh, yeah, that damned corporate American media… “Don’t want to upset our advertisers… we get a lot of cash from pharmaceuticals”..)

But THC was proven unequivocally to be the trigger shutting down cancerous tumors from growing further…

Earlier, two researchers found that cannabidiol, a chemical in hemp and marijuana, caused the cancer gene to turn itself off, and return to dividing into normal cells…

Cancer is apparently a gene. that switches on to make cancer, and off, to make normal cells. Most likely it is a vestige from our earliest moments in life, when massive amounts of cells needed to be made in order to survive. Something external retriggers that gene, and we get cancer….

Not only do we know this marijuana derivative does stop cancer. but in great news this week, just published from England, a research team has determined exactly how….

It uses the Cannabinoid receptor.

Though complicated for the lay person, it goes something like this…

Cannabinoid receptor CB2 and GPR55 are overexpressed in cancer cells and control cell fate… The CB2 and GPR55 are both a G- protein. G- proteins constitute a large protein family of receptors that sense molecules outside the cell and activate inside “signal transduction pathways” and, ultimately, cellular responses. Basically these are the fiber optic lines feeding data into our individual cells… This special receptor sits in our cell walls looking for Cannabinoids… (The sister of this one, CB1 is embedded in the cell wall looking for THC and is the one responsible for the high we feel upon achieving a certain level). This CB2 receptor is specialized more towards turning growth on or off in either immature or mature cells… Basically if you pretend you are the president with your hand on the red button to send missiles into enemy airspace, this receptor would be you. As soon as you sense danger you would begin the process of firing the missiles….

Instead of missiles, the weapon in cancer is unlimited growth… This CB2 is the eyes and ears of the cell… In early embryonic growth, a certain chemical could be released, touching that sensor and massive growth suddenly takes off. Unfortunately perhaps near age 45, some alien chemical or another protein close enough to mimic that earlier protein, randomly touches one cell’s receptor and boom, the signal is reignited….. “Initiate massive growth” orders go out to all necessary proteins ready and awaiting orders since last shutting down…

The breaking news of this story is that metaphorically, where as we knew that occasionally missiles would fly over our heads taking out cities over practically nothing, we didn’t know how that was occurring… What researchers discovered in England relating to these two receptors, is the equivalent of us finding that our commander in chief gets information sent to him along these particular wires, and then he downloads a code to start the missile launching sequence, even if no threat is apparent….

Someone is giving false information to that president along these wires….

So, how can we get access to those same lines to say: “Stop, Mr. President, It’s a mistake, Don’t fire those missiles”? … Research is the equivalent of our noticing that there is always a marijuana smell in the outer office, every time the missiles fly… So by controlling the marijuana or THC to this person, we might make him so high, he never gives the order and we shut down all the missile launches before they transpire…. Or something like that.

Rodents and petri dishes show astonishing results at stopping cancer with THC or other chemicals found in both Marijuana and hemp. We are now awaiting approval of tests on humans (good idea to test things before trying them out as Common Core advocates are currently discovering should always be done first)… Hopefully the approval will be expedited with this good news.

But we are very close it appears, to having a cure for cancer and it will most likely come from a plant for which many Americans were and still are imprisoned for once having in their possession….

Only in an ignorant, closed-minded Conservative America.could a human being be jailed for life, over something that is not only harmless but may yet save the entire of mankind, pets and livestock, from the ravages of cancer….

What a messed up society Conservatives have given us… Please, you owe it to you, God, and our nation. No matter what state you live in, vote all of them out of office… We need to get rid of cancer…

You heard it here first.  More on this later, but first all need to work to make hemp completely legal…  Hemp  is God’s gift to America, and I don’t mean when it goes up in smoke.  I am speaking of  fibers…

Begin educating those who won’t vote for hemp legalization….

The hemp plant is a renewable resource..

Hemp enriches the soil it grows in. …

Hempseeds and hemp oil are highly nutritious and delicious…

Hemp is the only plant that contains all of the essential fatty acids and amino acids required by the human body… (stop over-fishing).

It is an excellent option for vegetarians.

It’s quite high in some essential amino acids, including gamma linoleic acid (GLA), a very rare nutrient also found in mother’s milk.

Fishermen sprinkle hempseed on the water as an effective bait..

Songbirds will pick it out of the mix as they prefer it over other seeds.

Hemp is becoming a common ingredient in lotions and many other skin, hair, and cosmetic products.. (compared to toxic chemicals).

Hemp is an ideal material for making paper. It regenerates in the field in months (unlike trees which can take 30 years or more to become harvestable after planting.)…

It makes a fine quality paper that is naturally acid free and does not become yellow and brittle or disintegrate over time like conventional paper.

Hemp is also excellent for making rugs and other textiles.  Levi Strauss’ original denim jeans were made of hemp.

Hemp is the traditional rope making fibre due to its flexibility, strength, and resistance to water damage..

Hemp oil can be used to create biofuels to replace gasoline for diesel engines. Unlike fossil fuels, biofuels are renewable and produce less of the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide.  Diesel built his original engine to run on hemp oil.

Alternatives to plastic can be made from hemp… Hemp based materials can replace wood and other materials used to build homes and other structures including foundations, walls, shingles, paneling, pipes, and paint.

Hemp may look like marijuana, however it does not contain the active chemicals that cause mind-altering effects.  Politics have kept this gift from us.  When Dupont made nylon, it influence was used to suppress hemp production….

58,000 tons of hemp seeds were imported into America for paint products in 1935″ — Sherman Williams Paint Co.

Hemp produces the same amount of oxygen while it’s growing that it would use in carbon dioxide if burned as a fuel. Also, due to it’s leaf/root ratio (this can often be 10% roots vs 30% leaves), hemp can produce between 20% – 40% more oxygen than will be polluted.

Thomas Jefferson himself said, “Hemp is of first necessity to the wealth and protection of the country.”

The draft of the Declaration of Independence was made on hemp paper….

The first American Flag was made of hemp.

If hemp cross-pollinates with marijuana, it creates a lower THC marijuana, not a smokable hemp… Illegal growers will not grow near hemp farms because it practically destroys the effectiveness and marketability of their product.

Fabrics made of at least one-half hemp block the sun’s UV rays more effectively than other fabrics..

The US Drug Enforcement Agency classifies all C. sativa (hemp) varieties as “marijuana.”  Hemp was grown commercially (with increasing governmental interference) in the United States until the 1950s. It was doomed by the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937, which placed an extremely high tax on marijuana and made it effectively impossible to grow industrial hemp…

While Congress expressly expected the continued production of industrial hemp, the Federal Bureau of Narcotics lumped industrial hemp with marijuana…

Because of its low lignin content, hemp can be pulped using less chemicals than with wood…

It is naturally resistant to most pests, precluding the need for pesticides. It grows tightly spaced, out-competing any weeds, so herbicides are not necessary. It also leaves a weed-free field for a following crop…

Today it is clear that these beginnings of “the war on drugs” were pushed into being by the newspaper, cotton, and petroleum industries, all of which had much to fear over being competitive with hemp…..

Finally, a word of wisdom from our founding father…. “Make the most you can of the Indian Hemp seed and sow it everywhere.” — George Washington 1794

Gary Johnson, Libertarian Candidate for President of the Unites States of America,  even if he does not win, has forever made an impact upon the argument against incarcerating people for marijuana violations.   In this message,  he outlines the issue.

Bottom line, during these tight economic times, we are spending each year mind you, $1 billion to incarcerate marijuana offenses, $8 billion in legal expenses to incarcerate those with marijuana offenses.  In 2008 alone, western Virgina grew $4 billion dollars worth of marijuana.   It is the number one economic activity in the most impoverished regions of that country making it rise above all farm activity to become the number one cash crop in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee.  The number one cash crop.  It is frequently used by 17 million Americans on a regular basis.   It is easier for kids to get marijuana in the 8th, 10th, and 12th grades, than it is for them to get access to alcohol.

This last Obama failure is unacceptable.  Marijuana use in teens has shown to have a dramatic affect upon their development.  The failure of the current system, in fact the impossibility of being able to eliminate the threat of teenage damage after all the money that’s been thrown that way to stop it, is criminal.

Our non-legalization of  marijuana is hurting our kids.  Period.   However, with the assistance of corporate America, we do a rather marvelous job stopping them from drinking alcohol.  Why can’t we treat marijuana smoke the exact the same as we do something in a bottle?

Just legalize it.

Allow it to be sold by licensed dealers.

Tax it.

Then at that point…… we can control it.

Take cigarettes.  Add Delaware’s $3.60 plus the Fed’s $1.01 per pack, if that pack goes for $5.00, one is paying ($4.61/$5.00) 92.2% tax.  (I have yet to see drive by shootings over cigarettes) . So if we tax what some now estimate to be  a $100 billion dollar market, we get $92.2 billion dollars of new tax revenue.

So let us look at the cost savings.

Yearly, we net $92 billion. And… if we  add the $2 billion spent yearly in interdiction,….. for the cost of an extra free $94 billion dollars in additional revenue, we begin keep marijuana out of all our kids hands……

Only Gary Johnson seems to offer this no- brainer.   “America!  I will give you  an additional $94 billion dollars if you let me help you keep your kids safe from marijuana.”   And people still want to vote for Republicans? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
