Recently a mother had a meeting in Washington State and decided to take her family along for the ride.
They took a trip out to the Olympic peninsula and drove up from Port Angeles to Hurricane Ridge. As the car climbed the hill the dad lamented the unimaginable loss of millions of trees to clearcutting… “All these mountains were covered with trees when I was here last”, he sighed, greatly distraught.
From the back seat a kid’s voice piped up….
“Someone must have yelled: Run Forest, Run…… “
