Pros and Cons of Holding A Nationwide Strike on January 2nd, 2013.

Pros:

1) Forces Republicans to negotiate.
2) Demonstrates to Congress this is not a game.
3) Gives everyone a day longer holiday break.
4) Raises stakes for Tea Party Republicans thinking about defaulting.
5) Causes all eyes to stay focused on the deficit issue at hand.
6) Could be conducted as a wildcat strike , just call in sick.
7) Shows that Americans are serious about taxing the wealthy.
8) Gives our president a tool to hold over corporate America
9) January 2nd is the lowest productivity day of the year, no economic loss
10) Needs to be viral to have any meaning. People have to want to show their support for balancing the budget through taxes on the wealthy.
11) Continuation of occupy themes.
12) Businesses as well as labor, can show their support for raising taxes on the wealthy.
13) After experiencing a nationwide strike, Labor negotiators will have more clout in negotiations.
14) America’s people takes back their destiny. Like Thanksgiving, almost every American is off work.
15) Will demonstrate what happens if America stops working.
16) Will be called off if Agreement is decided before Dec. 15th.
17) Should be also supported by Businesses, corporations as well as workers. We all have a hand in making sure our government can pay it’s bills far into the future.

Cons:
1) Inconvenience to those flying that day, or any travelers.
2) Lost day of work.
3) Job may fire you.
4) There are no winners in a strike. Victor goes to the one who stands hardship the longest. All lose.
5) If successful Could be overused. Strike for Animal Rights.
6) Will gum up normal operations. for whole day. and perhaps the next.
7) Will lower GDP by one day’s worth in that quarter.
8) May cause gigantic riots never before seen in the history of the World.
9) Nobody will come.

If you don’t know, ALEC collects corporate money, to hire people to write legislation that benefit corporate interests.  They wrote anti union legislation. If you are union, you need to boycott UPS.

They wrote the legislation that  bans abortions. and requires women to have things stuck up their privates.  If you are a woman, you need to boycott UPS.

They wrote the legislation that bankrupted government.  They are responsible for running up our debt, without finding means to pay for it.  If you love your money, you need to boycott UPS….

They wrote the legislation that protected Zimmerman, keeping him from being arrested as anyone else would have been, standing over a dead man, gun still smoking.  Arrest him and acquit him.. That is what trials are for.  If you think Zimmerman should have been arrested a long time ago, and not 44 days later by a state prosecutor because the sheriff was too involved with ALEC, you need to boycott UPS.

UPS funds ALEC…

Until recently,  so did McDonalds.  Not anymore… So did Wendy’s.  Not anymore.  So did Bill and Melinda Gates:  Not any more.. So did Kraft Foods:  not any more… So did Coca Cola…. not anymore.  So did Pepsi… not anymore….

But… UPS still does…   Make your postal dollars benefit you, and not some freaking cultish society called ALEC… Send your packages FED-EX instead, or use the post office… They have union employees…..  And go ahead, do UPS a favor and Twitter them to let them know why you are choosing FED-EX ground, and why you are so angry you don’t care if it costs you a couple of cents more…..

(title is a chess reference).

There is no worse thing on this planet than a negotiator who agrees to a certain policy, waits for it to get set in stone, and then, just before that policy is implemented, says, no, I’m not for it anymore. People like that are called Finks.

That type of action turned all of America against the Tea Party who actually made it their career to say “we won’t agree until we get this”, and when they got “this” they stormed out anyway, saying “that is not enough, we won’t agree until we get that, and more…” and followed the same process over and over and over again…

There is nothing worse than people who do that….

The Catholic Bishops today are saying the compromise in which health insurers bear the cost of contraception, is not enough, even though it meets their objection of not having any Catholic money go towards paying for contraception…

That actually was a huge concession. Catholic hospitals and schools will not have to pay for contraception, but it will be available for all women who work there to use if they choose.

The current position being taken by the Catholic Bishops actually goes against Church doctrine as well as the teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ, himself….

(Remember, this is the exact same group that thought the best way to deal with priests who preyed Sandusky-like on alter boys, was to whisk them away where those guilty could abuse others who innocently had no idea beside whom they were serving the sacrament.)

The same group.

Bottom line, like the guilty priests, the Catholic Bishops got what they wanted. End of discussion. Any more discussion against this policy, and it becomes extremely obvious it is being done to support the Republican Party. The Church has been bought out by the 1%….

Back to why, prohibiting contraception in one way, violates the core spirit of the teachings of Jesus.

“Blessed are the Poor, for they shall inherit the earth”. “Give all you have to the poor, and you will then be able to enter the Kingdom of God.”

Obviously, if you don’t help the poor, you go to hell… Jesus could not have been more specific or clear.

When you don’t allow a woman to NOT GET PREGNANT, you force her out of being self sufficient, into becoming dependent on poverty.

Being against birth control forces women into poverty. Think about it. If you are single on a $40,000 job, and pregnant, you are out of $40,000 and have no income. Not only is the Catholic Church NOT GIVING ALL THEY OWN TO HELP THE POOR, but without free contraception, they are creating more and more poor, pregnant woman by pregnant woman, by the very position they take….

Bishops need to be queened.

So, can someone tell me again, why we shouldn’t tax the rich, and instead, balance the budget on the backs of everyone else?…….

I seem to be missing that little detail where that all makes sense……

The story goes that Warren Buffet, rather worried about his investments early 2008, wanted to talk to God… God told him to use his phone and he’d send him the bill… He got and paid the $333 million dollar charge. His investments flourished, too… That would be the end of the story, except he was down in Sussex County recently, following up first hand on a corporate case being processed out of Georgetown… once again, he asked God for the right to call, and agreed to accept the charges… When he got his bill, he was fuming… He was only charged 25 cents… “God”, he said, “you ripped me off on that first call, big time!”… God said, “Warren, don’t you get it? In Sussex County, that’s a local call…”

Local call or not, Sussex County is weighing in on whether to say a prayer before County meetings or to not… Here are a few takes on that policy: one, two, three, four……

As someone who grew up where prayers were always said before football games and county meetings, it isn’t a big deal…… That is, as long as everyone agrees it isn’t a big deal. You don’t see prayers before meetings conducted in New York.

Not because New Yorkers are heathens, but because in New York, you have a multiplicity of religions, so praying a prayer from one of them, is a slap in the face for all others…

Why it’s even an issue in Sussex County is because the Positive Growth Alliance, has been building condo’s like ants, and lots of people who did not grow up in Sussex County, now live there. Many have different ideas of religion than those who’ve always been there all their lives…

If everyone believe in the same version of God as does David Anderson, then of course, duh, why are we even arguing about it… Of course we’re going to pray to God to guide us through this meeting.. That’s what He’s for!

Suddenly, thanks to Rich Collins and the Positive Growth Alliance, we have tons of people who do object to having David Anderson’s version of God, one who dislikes Homosexuals, and one who casts pox on Democrats, one who believes married people should have sex only when they have children, one who believes sex between animals is immoral, one who believes taxes are caused by the devil, one who believes that nature was made to bulldoze and pave with a combination of petroleum and gravel. … one who believes that oil companies have the divine right to pollute oceans, one who believes that animals were made for us to kill. … one who believes a national religious holiday should fall on the first day of deer season.. one who believes pick up trucks and baseball caps are proof that homosexuality is a sin,… on who believes killing someone with a gun is not a sin, but taking that gun away for the safety of others is…

(yes, I’m having fun and talking tongue in cheek)…

The point I’m making is that Sussex County is changing; and it is changing mostly thanks to Rich Collins and the Positive Growth Alliance.

Can you make new citizens join the current religion? If so, then by all means, just like the days of old, they will see no qualms in having a tiny prayer before the meeting.

But if they don’t want to join that religion, then, to force one group of religious people to impose their prayers on others, is not American…In fact, it’s kinda creepy…

If in an effort to show fairness, the Sussex County decided they would do prayers from all religions in alphabetical order, when they came to “B” and hit Buddahism, giving an Buddahist prayer before the session, most of those in the audience would be saying WTF! This is our nation, why do we have to listen to such crap…

Which is… exactly what those Buddahists think, who have opened a business in Millsboro, and have come before the county to ask for a variance on something or other that is in their antiqued code….

So… If it is unnatural for a Baptist to suffer a Buddahist prayer, it is equally unnatural for a Buddahist to sit through a Baptist prayer…

It’s not about one religion being right and the other wrong. It’s about who the citizens are that make up Sussex County. If you want to blame anyone over this controversy, the blame solely lies with those who built up Sussex County and brought in all these new people to begin with… Now that they are here, we have to make Sussex County as fair to them as New York, is fair to us, when we take our business up there……

Positive Growth, huh? Depends on your version of positive I guess………….

It is such a great time. The cold front has passed, warm moist air flowing in, misty rain, not enough to get you wet, but enough to wake you up as it dances across the face. In it one can feel the snow coming two days early… For a weekend night, outside it’s peaceful… Those with money, have finished shopping. Those without, are waiting for that last check before the holidays…

The annual tradition of trading favorite YouTube’d carols over the internet, has begun in earnest… Strains of Mozart, Celtic Women, Cat Stevens, Bon Jovi, Metallica, and tons of favorite carols by assorted artists, have caused all the stress, pain, heart attacks, symptoms of short breathing,……….. to melt away somewhere into the distant future, as we float back into all those happier times as we remember fond memories of our past……..

Afghanistan: like walking on the moon

Things aren’t so nice for 100,000 plus Americans now fighting in Afghanistan. Things aren’t so nice for their families, friends, and lovers back home,… now that things have really heated up over there….

Take a second: Imagine you’re a Taliban fighting this foe invading from a very distant land. Imagine the hope, and shot in the arm a headline like this from the United States, would instill in you upon having it read to you. Imagine how quickly its words would resonate in your blood, and how less inclined you would be to throw in the towel against overwhelming odds? Imagine if you had rounds of waterproofed AK 47 ammo hidden in your well, how inclined you must now be to pull them up, and lay in wait for an American serviceman, any American serviceman, to come close enough to fire a killing shot.

That Headline….

Republicans Shoot Down $700 Military Appropriations Bill Funding War in Afghanistan. Bill Not Passed.

Republicans just aided and comforted our enemy…. Can you hear the Taliban cheering?

It’s the holiday season;  I’ll be honest.

David Anderson: you served. How can you stomach supporting the Republican Party when they refuse to fund American servicemen in combat?

Frank Knotts: How can someone with your passion for all that America has stood for, still call yourself a Republican when they play games with Americans living and dying for our shared values?

Hube:  What gives?  Where is the line across which the Republican Party stops supporting America, and the Tea Party begins to represent the Conservative’s cause?

Tyler Nixon: How can any ex service man, support the party that is so self centered, they have no clue of how their vote to, not fund the war, emboldens our enemies?

Kilroy of Delaware: What kind of political party would play with funding for troops in active combat? How can that be tolerated?

Oh, well, it’s not skin off my teeth. It’s your party… do what you want. I don’t care… But I’ll tell you this… This nation needs a little old one horse Tea Party for this one reason alone: so conservatives have somewhere else to go without crawling on their knees to suck up to the moral backruptiveness of the Republican Party, that’s why…

Oh, well, I’ve said too much already. It’s not my problem. I just think that:

Our servicemen deserve better.
Conservatives deserve better.
Our republic, the United States of America, deserves better.

Conservatives: isn’t it way past time to switch your parties affiliation?  It’s the holiday season!  What better gift to your kids and grand-kids  could you possibly give?

I’ll be brief.

A change occurred because of Tea Partiers. Their frustration centered around a failing America.

Now when I talk the tea party, I don’t mean what you hear from the media. I’m sure, (in fact we know it), that Samuel Adams himself sounded a little crazy when he first began touting independence from Great Britain. Fortunately one sticks around when someone is handing out free beer, and …. well…. here we are.

What’s gone wrong with this country?

In a previous post below I have a character who says: “I fear for my country when it’s citizens believe my Healh Insurance Company has my own best interests at heart.” Of course the health industry doesn’t.

But you would never know it from what is being said in the media.

Bottom line is: our whole lives are determined by “marketing.” (Just curious… which toothpaste do you buy? Why? Next time in the aisle, read the labels of twenty or more.. Same ingredients: same percentages.)

It’s same with political candidates. The campaigns are full of promise, but when in power…. who do they deliver to?

Whereas our lives two hundred years were controlled by a king, and court over 3000 miles away….. today, we are being controlled by a similar handful of powerful people. They own governments. The politicians work for them, if they can of course, get past us and our votes…

The fault is therefore ours. We put them in. Case in point. Coons just voted for blocking any internet site that had copyright infringement…. As a freshman walking in I admit, I would have done the same. There is no way I would have stuck by neck out to be the sole dissenting vote. After all, just starting out, I wouldn’t know any details and would assume that if both parties were in favor, it was a slam dunk decision.

However if it passes both houses, we one day will regret this bill. We all know, had we blocked the VCR, the MP3, the DVr, or cable companies “on demand” services, our lives would be less rich today. Each of these technological advances had a bill initiated to block their use, again because of perceived copyright infringements. (Those bills were supported by the same interests as is this one.) Can you imagine growing up or raising kids without a VCR?

So exactly why should the internet be allowed to be blocked as well?

Next statement: we are actually in the age of disinformation because with such a wealth of mankind’s knowledge at our fingertips, are we totally dependent on being told what is out there.

One can see it anytime one compares reporting from our media, MSNBC, CNN, or others against the world’s news media. We don’t get even half of the full picture of what is happening.

Bottom line, is what we hear is bunk. Americans have no trustworthy source of information.

Consider new plans of action.

1) Corporate political advertising needs to be tagged as such. ” This political message was made up and paid for by BP Oil. There is no law that says we have to be truthful in anything we say.”

2) Any politician accepting corporate money and voting on any bill that affects that company’s welfare, can be prosecuted for violating the public’s interest. The impossibility of one politician being able to keep up with all the intricacies, and the number of people out there looking for “gotcha” moments to pin him to a wall, should make politicians quick to say “no thank you” to corporate bribes currently disguised as political donations.

And … bottom line. is that if companies have this much money to throw away, ….. we should be taxing them to use that money currently wasted on goods and services that should either be growing our economy, or buying down our debt…. Obviously our tax structure is set far too low if it allows this biannual waste of money.

So.. bottom line: Our nation will not get off the ground until we as did Teddy Roosevelt, put corporations back into the corral.

From this point on our political conflicts are no longer Democrat versus Republican. They are corporate versus people… As Coons just showed, it is hard to draw a line isolating one party as pro corporate and the other party as pro people…. Once you understand that, you begin to understand the attraction that the Tea Partiers have with Americans living on the outside of the beltway.

Johnson & Johnson plans to eliminate 900 jobs at Ortho-McNeil-Janssen unit

That plant manufactured children’s Motrin and Tylenol. McNeil Consumer Healthcare ran the Fort Washington plant for Johnson and Johnson, and they have just laid off 300, or two thirds, or their employees.

From: Department of Health and Human Services: Food and Drug Administration
To: Hakin Erdimer Vice President of Operations, McNeil Consumer Healthcare, Div. of McNeil -PPC Inc. 7050 Camp Hill Road, Fort Washington, PA.

I first became aware of this story earlier this summer when I went to buy some Motrin at my local Happy Harry’s.. I walked up and down the shelves and was perplexed why I didn’t find some. I assumed that Walgreens must be becoming like Walmart and picking the brands they sold based on who could give them the best sweetheart deal. I went to Rite Aide instead. What, they’re out of Motrin too? They don’t even have a tag or slot on their shelves for it. Is there a recall? No one knew of any. After 4 hours, I finally found one bottle, still on the shelf of a chain grocery store, and snatched that baby up. Finally… R E L I E F…

Then I forgot about it… and I saw this….

The FDA has said it is weighing possible civil and criminal action against J&J for its actions. J&J’s CEO Weldon is expected to face sharp questioning over the manufacturing issues and also whether the company had FDA permission to conduct a soft recall of Motrin in 2009 from 4,000 stores across 40 states. It hired a contractor to send out employees posing as buyers for an eight-caplet package sold at convenience stores.Last week, lawyers for J&J said the purchases were legal and that FDA knew about them despite the lack of a formal agreement. But the FDA has said that is not the case. “Right now, there is no independent evidence that showed anybody at the FDA approved it,” said a congressional source familiar with the committee investigation. More documents submitted since the May hearing, including several released on Tuesday, show J&J directed the buyback, the source said, adding that the contractors have also submitted numerous documents.

Why were they buying back their own products? Were they trying to cover something up, or, prevent a mistake from becoming public? Is that the normal method of recalling a product, and if it is not, what was normal procedure not followed in this case?

In January, the FDA identified problems at a Johnson & Johnson plant in Puerto Rico after the company recalled Tylenol, Motrin and Benadryl products made there. The company said a chemical leached from wooden pallets into the products, imparting a musty odor that later made some consumers ill with temporary gastrointestinal problems.

Now I work around pallets all day. They do have a musty oder. But that oder stays in the wood. When I come home and take off my clothes, the same clothes which were in close proximity to those wooden pallets, they have no musty pallet oder. They may smell like BO, but they don’t smell like pallets. And you expect me to believe that tiny little pills inside a glass container, vacuumed sealed with cotton packed on top, surrounded with printed intructions, placed inside individual cardboard cases, which themselves are bundled 48 on a wooden pallet, upon opening,… carry that musty pallet oder in amounts so strong, that it gives consumers temporary gastrointestinal problems? Bullshit.

The human symptoms point to bacteria on the pills. For some reason, the line about the pallets, whether sanctioned by the FDA or not, is a dodge to deflect the true story.

It was the first of four recalls of Johnson & Johnson products in the past year, including the April 30 recall of 136 million bottles of infant and children’s Tylenol, Motrin, Benadryl and Zyrtec. Those products were recalled after FDA inspectors found widespread manufacturing problems at the Johnson & Johnson facility in Fort Washington, Pa., the only plant where they were being made.

In the FDA report, linked above, the closing of the Fort Washington Plant was because the Fort Washington Plant did not ensure….the rejection and withholding from approval any raw material product that contained a “known” contamination of gram negative organisms. Translated: they knew it was contaminated with deadly bacterial organisms and sold it anyway!

Raw material lots had known contamination with gram negative organisms and were approved to use for manufacture of several finished lots of Childrens and Infants Tylenol drug products, which remained within expirations dates on the market.

Translated: Medicine for infants running a fever, with immune systems being down for other reasons, were knowingly and willingly, given a bacterial infection organism known to cause severe gastronomical problems. Is Hakin employed by Al Qaeda? Surely that could be the only reason such a callous act could occur. Or is this the new standard today’s corporate America now upholds?

In fact, Food and Drug Administration inspection reports going back to 2003 chronicle a build up of problems at the now-shuttered plant in Fort Washington, Pa., at the center of the widespread recall of Tylenol, Motrin, Benadryl and other over-the-counter drugs. But it was only after a political change in Washington, that consumer protection stepped up.

Just recently, at an inspection of the Lancaster plant, inspectors wanted to know why some consumers found maximum-strength tablets in regular-strength Pepcid bottles, or mint-flavored tablets in berry-flavor bottles.

The problems were compounded by having to repeatedly ask for documents, and waiting days to receive what should have been readily available, including things as basic as an organizational chart.

Inspectors found that the plant could not ensure that drugs produced there were up to standard. Laboratory controls do not include the establishment of scientifically sound and appropriate test procedures designed to assure that drug products conform to appropriate standards of identity, strength, quality and purity,” the inspectors wrote.

(It should be noted that the newest report does not give any examples of product quality being affected by the litany of carelessness. Nor does it advocate a recall of any of the plant’s products.) What the report does note, is that no one is monitoring the operation. Records that should be accessible at a moments notice, simply aren’t there.

One common theme of the FDA report is that J&J employees frequently took days or weeks to provide records to the FDA inspectors, sometimes despite multiple requests. When the records eventually were provided, they sometimes were wrong or incomplete, the report said. “Organizational charts were requested on 06/23/10 and requested approximately 10 times before receiving full information … on 07/01/10,” read one example.

Another key point of the report was a finding that the plant failed “to thoroughly review” how product quality was affected by equipment problems that occurred during the manufacturing process.

The report tells of cases of “multiple manufacturing deviations” occurring without J&J checking for any impact on the product batches or recording what was done to fix the problems. “There is a failure to thoroughly review any unexplained discrepancy …,” the report said. “Equipment failures were not trended … to determine the scope … and the overall impact on the manufacturing process and products produced.”

The report said J&J displayed a similar lack of vigor in probing the Berry Tablets problem and looking into consumer complaints that products made at the plant were ineffective. The report said a J&J employee used the wrong testing sequence to see how Imodium EZ Chew Tablets dissolve and used the same filter and syringe to take multiple samples of the dissolved tablets. WTF?

Ok that’s the small problem. The big problem is that all corporations are doing the same thing. Why?

Could the previous years of Republican policy of instructing the FDA to turn a blind eye to malpractices in companies that were large Republican donors have anything to do with it? Could the philosophy that businesses need to be freed for endless taxes and bureaucratic red tape be the core of the problem, and not the solution?

The problems were noted as early as 2003 but no action occurred until 2009.

The approach being advocated by Delaware’s Republican Senate Candidate is dangerous to the health and safety of every American. When businesses are not regulated by our government, then we have no knowledge or method to reckon against their harmful acts. In this case, the company was just lazy. They made a conscious decision not to comply with acceptable methods of testing, and assumed no one could hold them accountable for it. In this case, your tax money was used by the Federal Drug Administration to go into a facility, investigate it’s methods, and finding several contamination issues, use it’s authority to close it down. This is a prime example where government is good. This is a prime example of why we need more government, not less. This is what happens when you don’t mind the candy store, which is exactly what Christine O’Donnell is proposing when she says do away with bureaucratic red tape. We need someone minding the candy store. We just need it.

So how does Christine O’Donnell, Republican for Senate, feel this problem should be taken care of? What is the official republican response to having bacterial infectous diseases knowingly placed in bottle of infant Tylenol drops and sold to unsuspecting consumers?

They call for an investigation of the FDA.. No shit. When bacterial contamination known to cause gastro-intestinal problems is knowingly sold to very sick and hospitalized infants… their reaction is to call for an investigation of the FDA…

Chistine O’Donnell says so on her website.

To promote jobs, we need to do away with bureaucratic red tape…… Meanwhile babies die. (But no. … we can’t kill the unborn. Let’s wait till they’re delivered,.. then kill them with bacteria knowingly left in their medicine bottles by one of our big contributors…..)

If we get caught…… we’ll spend a $1000 dollars to pay off a congressman who will then call for an investigation of the FDA ..

So if your reading this, you’re human. Let me ask you,.. how do you want your tax dollar spent? Do you want it spent on someone investigating the actual manufacturing plants to determine whether what’s popped in your mouth is clear of feces and bacterial contamination? Or do you want it spent on investigating the motives of the watchdog organization that is looking after your best interests…?

Christine is wrong on this one… Her Republican Party is out of touch with America and this: the willingness to look the other way when bacterial containments are knowingly put into infant’s medicine, and sold;…. proves it without a doubt.

It’s clear as day.

When you have no engine in your car, you have to put one in… When banks aren’t lending, when the private sector is incapable of spending, the government has to..

It is called deficit spending. It’s been done before. Whereas we suffered a horrible Great Depression, Sweden emerged from theirs in 1934 by using just such a Keynesian approach towards deficit spending. While America suffered through dust bowls, “Grapes of Wrath”, Hoovervilles, soup kitchens, and one out of every four workers unemployed, Sweden was thriving and its citizens were living quite comfortably.

America finally… five years later, had no choice but to follow suit after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. We too spent money we didn’t have and guess what? From 1939 to 1941, U.S. manufacturing shot up a phenomenal 50 percent!

So what happens to those people who have no choice but to work, when the government gives them a job? They spend…. soon,… more people have to work… who spend… so even more people have to work,… who spend … so even more people than the more people spending money previously, have to work. … and they spend.

Republicans clamor we need more jobs… Mike Castle even hands out a giant check he voted against! LOL.. But they are all lined up against the very engine that brought us out of The Great Depression… How silly is that?

They say… we’ll owe sooooooooooooooo much money… Hello…Excuse me? Uhhh, have you ever bought a … house? Don’t you personally owe soooooooooooooooo much money? A $200,000 dollar house cost over $455,000 by the time the last payment is made. But…… how long would it take you, forced to spend more than you currently make just to live, to save $200,000 cash just to buy that house outright?

Right…. you couldn’t…

The same principal applies to economics. If you need to spend money for jobs right now…. and don’t have it… when and where will those jobs come from?

They won’t. Duh.

Therefore when Bonini says “Delaware spends more per person than any other state, excluding Alaska and Hawaii…” and that “the No. 1 employer in Delaware is the state itself, and the number of people employed by the state has doubled in the past 12 years” … right now we should be grateful… not troubled. Because we too are making some of that money those people are spending.

When he says…. “Tough economic times have prompted people to get involved in the political process,” it’s hilarious…. Especially when you look at this… on the Republican side… THEY ARE ALMOST ALL MILLIONAIRES…. (C’mon… It’s Delaware… Even if you’re Republican you gotta laugh)…

But, when he says … “The fact that people are making tough economic decisions in their personal family lives is bringing attention to the fact that the government is not,” it shows he doesn’t understand government’s role in the economy. It unfortunately shows us all that he doesn’t either read, or understand, American history.

And… that is what makes him a dangerous person to put in as our State Treasurer. He’s a great guy, and I certainly wish him well, but now is just not right time for someone who does not understand deficit spending to be running our state’s Treasury. Thirty years from now… based on my best estimates…that will be his time.

One might as well come right out and say it.. The Tea Party movement is based on race… There is no other explanation.

Lets assume, just for fun, that black is white… and white is black….

Imagine that thousands of black protesters, bussed in from Wilmington, Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore, and DC, were to descend upon Dover’s Green, next to our General Assembly, armed with AK-47s, M-1’s, and handguns stocked with live ammunition. And imagine that the television cameras happen to conveniently catch some of these protesters — all wearing hoodies — ranting over the need for violent political revolution and armed conflict, should laws they despised, ever be enforced by the government? Would you see them as brave defenders of the Second Amendment, or would shit in your pants and want them all “lined up and shot”? Don’t answer! You know how you’d see them.

We all know this happened… but black was white… and Republicans cheered and licked the butts of those shouting slogans.

Imagine John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, and Michelle Bachman, while walking to work, got surrounded by thousands of angry black people, one of whom proceeded to spit so much in Michelle Bachman’s hair, it caused her to look like she had just exited a Penn State frat party. It was done for no reason, except that she had not voted the way that black demonstrator with a Muslim beard and saggy pants, had desired.

Would you see this as merely patriotic Americans voicing their opinions, or would it be apparent to you, that it was an angry, potentially violent, and even a subversive mob of really dumb ass people?

Again, we all know that this happened… but black was white… and Republicans cheered and licked the butts of those shouting the slogans.

Imagine the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, a rap artist, were to say, in reference to a white president: “He’s a piece of shit and I told him to suck on my machine gun.”

This happened… but black was white… and Republicans cheered and licked the butts of those shouting the slogans…

Now.

Imagine that a pill popping black radio host with the face of an ass, were to suggest that the only way to get promoted in the administration of any white president was to “hate black people,” or that a prominent white General had only endorsed a white presidential candidate cause they were both the same color, or blamed a white president because a fight occurred one of our nation’s school buses in which a black kid was jumped by two white kids, or if this ass faced radio host had said that he wouldn’t want to kill all conservatives, but rather, would like to leave just enough—“living fossils” as he called them—“so we will never forget what these people stood for.” After all, we all know these are things Rush Limbaugh has said….. and when he did, Republicans cheered and licked the butts of those shouting the slogans…

Imagine that a black pastor, formerly a member of the U.S. military, were to declare, as part of his opposition to a white president’s policies, that he was ready to “suit up, get my gun, go to Washington, and do what they trained me to do.”

Meanwhile the Republicans cheer and line up to lick the butts of those shouting the slogans…

Imagine a black radio talk show host gleefully predicting a revolution by people of color if the government continues to be dominated by the rich white men who have been “destroying” the country, or if said radio personality were to call Christians or Jews non-humans, or say that when it came to conservatives, the best solution would be to “hang ‘em high.”

And Republicans stand up to cheer and line up to lick the butts of those shouting the slogans…

Imagine a black political commentator, with very odd hands, suggesting that the only thing the guy who flew his plane into the Austin, Texas IRS building did wrong was not blowing up Fox News instead.

… and the Republicans cheered and licked the butts of those shouting the slogans…

Enough.

Even if one-third of the anger currently being hurled at President Obama, were being aimed by people of color at a white Republican president, how many whites would wax eloquent about every black person’s right to free speech, to own a gun, and praise all the glories of democracy?

On the other hand, how many of them would be instead calling for crackdowns on unlawful behavior, and investigations into the radical agendas of all those armed people of color?

Bottom line… Free speech, intimidation, and the right to insurrection, being championed everywhere across the Republican spectrum, … is only “right” if it’s “white”…

To each and every one of us who are color blind….. Intimidation is not right at all…

There are common laws of human decency, that boil down to the realization that ALL men do not share the same agenda. We are blessed that it was OUR founding fathers who realized that this could be a good thing… The open expression of ideas and the public rebuttal of the criticism of them, allows for cream of this country, to rise to the top…

Any group, white or black, that doesn’t abide by such common lows of human decency, … “deserves to be lined up and shot”.

If as a nation we go that far, just make sure we dump their carcasses in a salt dome… We wouldn’t want those tea bags, either white or dark, leaching into our aquifers…

Funny, … I don’t hear Republicans lining up to cheer….

Why? Because the Tea Party is all about being anti black; Anyone who has ever heard Martin Luther King Jr. speak to a crowd, … knows in his heart, there is no other explanation.

That includes Michael Steele, and David Anderson. At some point, like Senator Robert Byrd, they will come clean about their past…..

… and so ends Conservatism. exactly 30 years after it began.
