Plan A is not working; Crimea will vote to join Russia next Sunday, and then what. We need a new perimeter. Crimea is not worth the risk of going to war. But neither can we allow all other nations wonder, are they next.
What would stop that?
US troops in the Baltics, Moldavia, Ukraine, and any other nation surrounding Russia that asks for it. And yes, we will now bring our anti-ballistic missiles.
Perhaps Putin would like to reconsider moving his Crimean troops back to his bases now, before the referendum and perhaps we can execute a smoother transition than is current, if that is truly what Crimea wishes to do and finds to be in its best long termed interests….
Just think if we’d surrounded Hitler with massive armies after his initial sorties?
Let’s get started on Plan B now…
More later…

Do think it’s appropriate for Us to be making plans for another peoples country ?
How would you react if a Ukrainian or Russian or whatever blogger voiced their “plans” for the US ???

Great Questions.
The US should be making sure that force is not being used to exert a decision upon one group of people by another. The people should vote and be accountable for their choice….
Secondly, those in other nations are certainly capable of expressing their own views. Since all media is now considered corrupted, one must get news that is trustworthy only from anonymous sources. it’s the only thing these days, which can be believed…
