30,000 Deaths Per Year
or
Think Like A Street Criminal.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-179264/Cannabis-kills-30-000-year.ht
Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)
Failed politicians need a way to raise cash. After all, that’s what the street criminals do and we know how ‘harmless’ and ‘successful’ they are.
It’s rolled up and smoked, (that’s good for the lungs, right kavips? Occasionally, it is also brewed as a tea or mixed with food, such as brownies. (Nice surprises wait in store for the unsuspecting.)
The short term effects of marijuana include impaired coordination; skewed sensory and time perception; difficulty with thinking, concentrating and problem solving; shortened attention span and distractibility; decreased alertness; impaired learning and memory; and euphoria. Additionally, marijuana use can lead to disturbed thoughts and can worsen psychotic symptoms in schizophrenics. (All very nice, as one is driving down the highway at 65 mph.) Not deadly though, right kavips?
Long-term users often experience lowered motivation, and some can experience anxiety, panic attacks, respiratory illnesses, and increased heart rate and risk of heart attack. When withdrawing from the drug, chronic users typically experience irritability, sleeplessness, anxiety, impaired appetite, and aggression.(Gee, that’s not going to cost society big bucks, is it kavips?)
Chronic marijuana use can lead to addiction. In fact, marijuana is the most commonly used illegal drug in the United States, and more teens are in treatment with a primary diagnosis of marijuana dependence than for all other illegal drugs combined. (Sure, why keep marijuana away from teens kavips?)
And if that doesn’t do the trick, they can always go to the street criminals for a stronger fix and you can bet that will be available. (Problem solved right kavips?)
Oh that’s right, the problem some want to solve is – getting a cut on the drug profits, which so proudly – the street criminals also have in mind

That is certainly NOT an expert assessment….
“Researchers calculate that if 120,000 deaths are caused among 13 million tobacco smokers, the corresponding figure among 3.2 million cannabis smokers would be 30,000.”
(from your link above…) What a cop out!
So far no deaths have been recorded ever from marijuana overdosing…. As the title above shows, ants are more dangerous….

And so the question is:
What’s the difference between
a politician who wants to legalize Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) –
and a street criminal?
None.
Both want to deal in a substance harmful to society,
while getting their bloody cut.
And another question.
If authorities ‘feel’ pot is NOT harmful and illegal,
why is it presently a criminal offense, to possess it /use it?
If you can produce it, tax it – then it suddenly becomes less harmful than an ant.
Pot Head Politicians are just like climate change deniers:
To hell with society – what really matters are big bucks now.
Big profits for the industry, their politicians –
and the kids don’t stand a chance in hell.
But what can one expect from a system, when top priority is – the dollar.

But no, politicians wouldn’t think of uplifting people with perhaps local public work job sites, where people work in exchange for learning life skills, trades, gaining community skills, becoming responsible family members, responsible parents, entrepreneurs, good employees etc.
Raising a youth, is a process where every year; every day, every 5 seconds – matters. Looks like a lot of Delawareans haven’t been paying attention. The above mentioned process to attempt to backtrack and get individuals on the right track – is too much trouble right? (Above job site example was typed up at a moment’s notice – much better could be devised.) The point is, to produce responsible members contributing to society, takes long hard work. Doping up people for profit, is an immediate disaster.
Just dupe them up, trash all hope and get in on the bloody profits, instead. No.
That’s just another scummy, slummy, low life, corrupt, dump azz way to make a dollar, with consequences a ‘state’ shouldn’t be – selling it’s citizens in a needy moment.

As if ‘death by overdose’ considers ‘deaths by marijuana.’ Talk about dodgy examples…. Oh so what, we’re only talking about the living dopey, dopers here, not the – ‘deaths by marijuana.’
Someone is sailing down Nassau Bridge headed for the beach; comes up to 5 Points and ops, the light turns yellow It’s a huge intersection, the camera’s on him and he brakes, as he should and must.
The guy in back of him is impaired, having difficultly thinking, distracted.. into the music, euphoric at the moment.
Three deaths by accident? Sure, why not, since drug impaired people that kill, aren’t being accounted for here – because getting thousands more ‘high’ people on the highways, is a good thing, right?
Answer: $$$,$$$$,$$$.

Put the issue on a hypothetical ‘personal’ level.
A parent has an off spring, no matter the legal age, who is currently upstanding, educated, successfully employed, great family person, community person, etc. Everything is pretty terrific.
and
Another parent, has an off spring, no matter the legal age, who is currently not considered upstanding, lacks education, is unemployed, is having family, child care problems, is rejected by the community. Problems are quite substantial.
Which decent parent would walk up to their son and say, give me ten bucks son, here’s some marijuana.
Neither. It could perhaps produce a mind altered, shameful worse choice, or habit of a lifetime, that could change the life of off spring No. 1 or send No. 2 over the edge. (No. 1 says, wheeee, euphoria is much more fun. No. 2 says, ‘F’ all this, I give up, I’ll spend what little I have on dope.)
What parent would want to be responsible for that?
However, some politicians welcome – ‘the blood money.’
When politicians want to stoop (slither on their fat bellies,) to make dollars like societies worst gun toting, murdering street criminals, ya notice that something is wrong with that.
Since when, would dealing dope, be the ‘official’ way to raise cash?
When criminals run politics. And one supposes, that’s where we are.
A decent parent wouldn’t offer dope; a slimy politicians would say, here, have a hit jackass, there’s more where that came from.

When Criminals Run Politics
or
Smoke and Mirrors
Kavips says,
“So far no deaths have been recorded ever from marijuana overdosing…. As the title above shows, ants are more dangerous….”
Not true, ants are NOT more dangerous. (They’ll overdose on a little Ant Bait.) Truth is, one can’t overdose on marijuana, but.. being stoned is dangerous, sometimes deadly dangerous not only to the doper but to others who come in contact with him.
And it isn’t about “death” kavips, it’s about a quality life – a drug free life.
You compared deaths by ant – to the known inability to overdose -trying to prove what exactly? (Step right up. Kavips is handing out free APPLES/ORANGES for comparison, folks.)
Un told thousands of human marijuana caused deaths are not from overdosing but from medical causes, impaired mental functioning, altered thinking, distraction, impaired coordination, impaired time perception, slowness, depression; having drug induced euphoria, impaired judgement etc. Fun and games.
Would Dad think much of a ‘stoned’ dude coming to pick up his daughter? Should they call a doper – to babysit one’s child, grandchild? Would employers hire marijuana users? Would you go to a ‘stoned’ dentist? No? Why is that? Because a drugged person, would be a dangerous person. driving the car, forgetting about the baby, operating heavy equipment, screwing up calculations, pushing a drill through your gums, landing a plane, rewiring your home, reasoning, writing prescriptions, driving the school bus, etc., etc. I would refuse to sit next to, speak to, hire, work with, drive with, listen to, a stupid doper.
What needs to be killed would be a Bill to legalize drug use – for fun and games.
We cannot tolerate a state full of dangerous dopers, because they are ‘dangerous to themselves,’ ALSO dangerous to their families and dangerous to unsuspecting persons who come in contact with them. How dare politicians even consider subjecting Delawareans to euphoria stoned idiots. If a legalized doper is at fault for damages, the doper and the state should be sued to the max for ‘permitting’ a drug user.
Legalizing stoners – to bail out the slots is like adding cockroaches to a pool of diarrhea.
But if ‘someone’ is for Delaware legalized dope, why not come out and say, kiddies..what’s important is another source of tax revenue. If your mommies and daddies can get high on some drugs, who cares. Tell the kiddies if you’re all for drugs. As a bonus, their parent can drive their mtge payment over to the slots and leave the kids home to fend for themselves. (Someone will notice.) Homelessness is OK, too. We can send school buses to the local shelters, motels, tent cities to pick the kids up. Fun and games.
PS In case one wants to pretend legalized dope stops crime, who will stop the addicted, unemployed, broke, armed thieves – wanting your wallet for their next ‘legal’ hit?

Politicians Mirroring Thug Criminals
or
Dope the Dope Plan
Provide the dopes with dope and tax them for it. What a Plan.
Reminds one of a plan hijacked from the slumlords of Somalia or Mumbai where the head thugs come around to collect cash on property they don’t own or for permission for slum dwellers to operate a business.
How would legalized doping go down. State government thugs says, here’s some tetrahydrocannabinol, THC), folks. (Just what you ‘law abiding’ citizens need.’ Now you poor dumb suckers pay the ‘tax’ and we’ll let you be doped and high, you know – ‘protected’ by the ‘law.’
Whopee. Now the dopey folks can get high and bring what cash they have left from their various sources – to the casinos (that their thug tax money keeps open,) to further feed the casino big boss hogs. Do they wear white suits?
A few honest Delaware politicians should be able to come up with a better plan than – further abuse of the addicted and hopeless.
(Like having people work livable wage jobs and make enough to pay tax that isn’t based on drugs.) What? But that’s not going to happen, is it.
The Slum Dope Plan is all ‘voluntary’ the political thugs would claim.
Sure…. the addicted buying dope – is ‘voluntary.’ Ha.
That’s like saying the tin and tarp roof squatters can refuse to pay – or be shot or beaten to death.
Of course livable wage jobs for Delawareans, would have to compete with this (see video) and that’s not going to happen.
Doping USA, isn’t the answer.
Dump the dopey thug dope plan and political thugs who would hijack America.
The new Plan should be to rid Delaware cities, towns, suburbia of
drugs, not add more. What needs to be done:
FIX THE GOVERNMENT.
As a side note, you might find the attached video to be something to think about. For you will see, the buildings (and infrastructure) of Wilm or small town Delaware, are absolute castles by comparison. The problem here lies between the government and the people.
Really kavips, what kind of politicians would think for one moment –
“The people need to be drugged?”
Actually, folks had watched the changes, from good to the worst; and poor to the best of Delaware, and those changes had nothing to do with drugs. Drugs are an after event, of the hopeless, often of those who have been “sold out” by their own government. Joy is not inhaled while being drugged but is from being able to live a successful drug free and happy life – with hope. And it seems some in Delaware’s government would opt for
– drugged hopelessness instead.
There are Episodes 2,3 if interested.
