“many children cried during or after testing, and others vomited or lost control of their bowels or bladders. Others simply gave up. One teacher reported that a student kept banging his head on the desk, and wrote, ‘This is too hard,’ and ‘I can’t do this,’ throughout his test booklet.”

When I read articles discussing the fact that educators are concerned about children “peeing and vomiting” due to stress in school, I get very upset. I get upset because these are the kinds of symptoms that are red flags for bullying, or other notably unhealthy situations going on in a child’s life that caring adults need to intervene in immediately. I get really upset because the typical causes are not at play here: the problem is school…

Oops… An inability to conceptualize multiplication – An inability to deal with numbers in relationship to each other – An inability to conceptualize fractions or even understand what fractional terms represent —Difficulty in applying basic arithmetic to simple concepts within music —  fine motor skills have decreased significantly– assumptions on a fact-based topic on how they feel instead of the actual information—made information up out of thin air based on how one emotionally interprets things.  .   Someone left these Items left out of Common Core:

The answer we get to these problems…. is….

STATUS QUO HAS GOT TO GO, STATUS QUO HAS GOT TO GO, STATUS QUO HAS GOT TO GO……

There is no awareness at the top of what their policies are creating at the bottom…..
