- $45,000 was dropped into the election illegally and not reported in the required timely fashion…
- That $45,000 was used to distribute literature telling Amy Roe supporters to go to the wrong polling places.
- That $45,000 names a candidate and is not an issue based. The proposed “issue” is “Polly’s Plan”, naming the candidate; not something like more local jobs through construction, which would not be attached to either candidate.
Only 115 votes separated whether we have a power plant or not….
======
There are just too many questions…. Voters need clarity.
The smart option would be to have a run off election. Just run Polly and Amy, no one else….
Re-do the election and then we will know…
It is one day. 6 districts. Just re-do the election…

§ 7558. Election results; recounts; contests.
(a) A person certified as being elected shall not take office before the seventh day following certification of the election.
Looks like the EARLIEST swearing in could be 12/10.

.Nice catch. Furthermore…. now that I’ve found it….
§ 7557A. Complaint procedure; unlawful election activity altering result of election.
(a) A citizen of a municipality may submit a written complaint to the State Election Commissioner regarding any aspect of that municipality’s election activity that is contrary to state or federal law which altered or is reasonably likely to have altered the result of the election.
The $45,000 dropped before the 8 day filing, and not reported within 24 hours, is a violation of current state law. The order to print had to be finalized even before the 30 day deadline had passed. The PAC was not even on file at that point…
To prevent situations like this, was the express purpose for which that law was passed…
This really does nullify the results of the election.

Plus, who do you think paid for the push poll phone surveys? Vince D’Anna’s company almost assuredly got paid to create and implement that poll. It gave the candidate an idea of issues important to voters and also the strongly favorable voters – the phone numbers you bank on calling for your GTVO.
I worked with D’Anna polls in 2008. He just bragged on Delaware Liberal that he recently incorporated his political consulting and polling company plus this summer, Karen Hartley Nagle told me that she and Carl Colantuano had joined D’Anna in his new company.
So, all bets are placed that D’Anna was either working directly with the Sierer campaign or was working through this DEJobsNow – DEED entity.

In 2008 D’Anna was Paul Clark’s campaign manager. His polling company ran polls that were for the DEM candidates for the most part. I worked them for Tom Gordon. I don’t know who paid for them either.
