I laid some words of advice over at Mourning Constitution... I see yesterday, Anderson Cooper 360, had similar words to say regarding change and how human beings get things done…
Last night he said:
“We all know that governments failed in the wake of Katrina, but individuals didn’t, and that’s what gives me hope because I see that every day in places all around the world. Individuals make a difference. It’s the difference between life and death, the difference between success and failure, the difference between hope and heartache. Individuals standing up, not waiting to be told what to do by governments, but taking responsibility themselves,” he said.
I’d like to hear your story… What have you done to make a difference?

Its better for others to point that out! So you tell me what has Kilroy done to make a difference? You know there is no “I” in teamwork.

Ok,
You, have brought educational issues to the forefront… So good were you at it, that during the Bluewater Wind controversy I gave up my passion for education and let you run with it..
You also brought sense to the Republican Party.. You called their Bullshit as a former chair.. You backed the best candidate even though earlier you pilloried him… I still think of him as a seagull every time I shake his hand…..
You called out their fake leader Copeland… You called out their fake Clatworthy… You supported candidates regardless of party who you knew would get things done…
Were our roles and parties to one day be reversed, your actions this past year have put severe pressure on each of us to equal your pursuit of high ideals..
You also have done well with your progeny, as can be ascertained by the side banners telling us of their accomplishments..
In my book, that last one is the greatest fulfillment of responsibility that a man or woman can accomplish…
I do not praise often… I am somewhat new at doing so… I apologize if I have held back here… lol.

“You called out their fake Clatworthy…”
I supported Clatworthy though he may be misguided he is really a decent person who showed me the fullest respect and did make me feel like part of the process.

Thanks for the praise but I see it as an opinion that can help keeping me pointed in the right direction. Now I’ll share my greatest accomplishments. Sometimes I see the design of proper protocol as a diversion and often many are patronized when following it. It’s like a game of tell them what they want to here and promise them nothing. I’ve ripped the shit out of Markell, Denn, Gilligan, Sokola, Manolakos and others. But yet they see through all that and see my passion. I’ll admit my ignorance is at times is unintended and yet other times well intended. It’s very humbling that those whom I trashed have been the most helpful in moving that accountability ball. Respect isn’t a given and doesn’t come with political office and it must be earned and the above has earned it. Do keep in mind some I call full of shit on blog I have told them to their face. When I learned that a legislator stood before the House of Representatives and told them who I am and my sincere passion I found this to be a humbling experience and a day of arrival to be taken seriously. I much rather be a person of issues not people.
I do communicate with legislators as others and hold all communications confidential even if I am totally pissed at them. Some folks will take E-mails from legislators as if it we a prize to plaster all over the internet. I am beyond that and I don’t get star-stuck in the presence of any legislator or even Markell. There position of power doesn’t intimidate me as I have the rights of the people. The thing about there is no “I” in teamwork is the truth because though one person can make a difference it takes the actions of other to support that call and help make it happen.
My blog, I knew from day one my lack of writing skill and grammar would be a bit of a barrier. However, it my message to all especially parents of high poverty to not let you limited skills stand in the way of you standing up for you children rights when it comes to educational needs. Those who take serious pot-shots at me for my lack of writing skills are only stroking their own egos for reassurance they are educated. Sure I could pay more attention to editing and often I go back and correct those errors.
However, I don’t write and rewrite as if my goal is to win a Pulitzer Prize because it takes the heart out of the message. So what I write is of heart not mind. I guess that says I have more brain cells in my heart than brain. LOL! But, I wouldn’t have any other way. My greatest accomplishment will be figuring why I give as shit about all of this. Also, why in the F I rant so much! LOL
