It is a crime when individuals are found tamping with evidence. Tampering may include a manipulation or movement of the evidence during or after the crime. Individuals can in fact be charged with being an accessory after the fact, if they manipulated evidence in any way.

Did a crime occur in the Republican caucus surrounding Darrell Issa.

ABSOLUTELY.  Evidence was tampered…..

CBS News reported that at least two of the Benghazi e-mails that were leaked by Republicans last Friday were altered.

One of the altered e-mails was from Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes. The other altered e-mail was from U.S. State Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland.

Here’s the Republican version of the Rhodes e-mail:  We must make sure that the talking points reflect all agency equities, including those of the State Department, and we don’t want to undermine the FBI investigation.

Here’s the White House version of the Rhodes e-mail:   We need to resolve this in a way that respects all of the relevant equities, particularly the investigation.

Here’s the Republican version of the Nuland e-mail:  The penultimate point is a paragraph talking about all the previous warnings provided by the Agency (CIA) about al-Qaeda’s presence and activities of al-Qaeda.

Here’s the White House version of the Nuland e-mail:  The penultimate point could be abused by members to beat the State Department for not paying attention to Agency warnings.

BUSTED!!!

Evidence was tampered to imply a crime.  Under all state codes this can be either a misdemeanor or a felony.  We need these investigated…  The law was broken.  Congressional Hearings are in place to get to the bottom of the truth.  They are not intended to be kangeroo courts to make up evidence that doesn’t naturally exist….

The law was broken.  Arrests need to be made… This is not about Democrats or Republicans… This is about the trust and truthfulness of the United States of America.

If Congress were run as were DC’s Schools?   Darrell Issa would be thrown out of Congress…. From the DC school manual…….

Tier IV behaviors result in off-site Suspension.
(a) The following behaviors shall be considered Tier IV behaviors:

(1) Acts of vandalism, destruction of property, or graffiti (tagging);
(2) Documented theft of school or personal property without force;
(3) Interfering with school authorities or participating in a major
disruption of the school’s operation.
(4) Tampering with, changing, or altering an official record or
document of a school;

Here is the Texas’s definition of tampering.   Darrell Issa would be in jail if this took place in Texas….

A person commits an offense if, knowing that an investigation or official proceeding is pending or in progress, he:

(1) alters, destroys, or conceals any record, document, or thing with intent to impair its verity, legibility, or availability as evidence in the investigation or official proceeding;

(2) makes, presents, or uses any record, document, or thing with knowledge of its falsity and with intent to affect the course or outcome of the investigation or official proceeding;

(3) knowing that an offense has been committed, alters, destroys, or conceals any record, document, or thing with intent to impair its verity, legibility, or availability as evidence in any subsequent investigation of or official proceeding related to the offense; or

(4) observes a human corpse under circumstances in which a reasonable person would believe that an offense had been committed, knows or reasonably should know that a law enforcement agency is not aware of the existence of or location of the corpse, and fails to report the existence of and location of the corpse to a law enforcement agency.

In Texas, this is a felony in the third degree.

The evidence brought forth a week ago that inflamed the nation, was a fabrication. “Directly it was an attempt to make, present and use a record, document, or thing with knowledge of its falsity and with intent to affect the course or outcome of the investigation or official proceeding….”

18 USC § 1001 – Statements or entries generally

(a) Except as otherwise provided in this section, whoever, in any matter within the jurisdiction of the executive, legislative, or judicial branch of the Government of the United States, knowingly and willfully—
(1) falsifies, conceals, or covers up by any trick, scheme, or device a material fact;
(2) makes any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation; or
(3) makes or uses any false writing or document knowing the same to contain any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or entry;

shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 5 years or, if the offense involves international or domestic terrorism (as defined in section 2331), imprisoned not more than 8 years, or both. If the matter relates to an offense under chapter 109A, 109B, 110, or 117, or section 1591, then the term of imprisonment imposed under this section shall be not more than 8 years.

In their quest to call it terrorism –and it is– the republicans just opened themselves up to a crime.

I demand an immediate arrest of Darrell Issa for breaking the law…. Full Censure by the House of Representative of this common criminal is called for immediately…..

Where are those trillions?

The ones we gave big banks,

To invest in our economy?

Jump out squads are the new topic.  What a dumb name.   I glad Mayor Williams is distancing himself from such.  It is funny how names get formed.  I think it was Mayor Baker or Sills whose press agent when pressed, was the person who named them such?  It may have seemed like a good idea at the time, but a better name would be something that is less aggressive.

Of course sounding tough as an intimidating factor always makes one feel big.  But it also acts in a different way.  It imposes upon a community their powerlessness.  First against the criminals, Then against the justice system.

Both Williams and the Police Chief know this!.

A city’s police force is there as part of the city residents life experience, and their job is to protect the good of which they are apart and diminish the power of the bad, the criminal element.

A better name would be something like:  ”Citizen’s Response Team”.  For after all, they are there  only at the behest of citizens who want their neighborhoods to be safe.  Let the criminal elements call them “jump out squads”;…  let that be the word on the streets.  But officially, a name that conveys the idea that the police are just an extension of society at large, they are there to do what society wants, is far more appropriate in this case than one of surprise and intimidation.

Neighborhood society has no problem with these individuals involved.  Most grew up there; they’ve known them since they were little kids. The problem is crime, and every individual in a neighborhood has a choice on whether they want to side with crime, or side with stopping it….

The election on September 11th, I think emphatically gave a mandate that a very large majority of Wilmington sides with those forces stopping it.

Now there is something every citizen can do….

I messed up.  As I pulled of the side street and onto the main street, a parked car held me up, It was some type of SUV with New Jersey plates.  Leaning into its passenger window, was a big black dude, scruffy beard, Army issued overcoat, black pants, who as I pulled up, backed away, and as the car pulled off, the crossed the street in front of me….

If I’d been thinking, I could have pulled my phone, looked like I was talking or texting (as do 99% of Delawareans when they are behind the wheel anyways), and clicked a picture of the car complete with plates and the guy doing the drop.

I could have then sent that to police.

Police later show up at the house of the car’s owner,  Ask what they were doing at that location.  Who was in their window?  Then monitor any call going out from that house that says:  ”Dude, you better be careful…someone’s on to you… Really man?  What did they say?”

So, what if the police advertised a hotline or email address or account where anonymous picture of licensed plates of drug deals in progress, could be drop loaded?  How many citizens of Wilmington would love to turn in the street bully they’re deathly afraid of, but can’t because no system exists where the information is completely untraceable?

Why hasn’t this been thought of before?

Rule is:  these pictures can never be used as court evidence and be traceable.  They can only serve as probable cause, upon which all secondary evidence can then be admitable….

And it would cost nothing.

.

I’m really sick today.. You see, when I was growing up, I was a history buff. I read childhood biographies of famous people, usually with the book behind the textbook while the teachers droned on and on, but once as a tyke, who upon seeing the obligatory National Park Film in the Williamsburg Visitors Center, after Patrick Henry sat down, I swore, I would always fight to protect the Constitution…. At that moment, even little as I was, I think I understood that I was temporary… But the Constitution like God, needed to be around forever…

With childish enthusiasm I imagined myself at times on the bridges of Lexington and Concord, roaming the swamps of South Carolina, and firing my muskets at King’s Mountain, and most importantly, crossing that line in the dirt on December 31, 1776 when no one else wanted to, to enlist till the end of the war.. . When it made the real difference, I said, I would step up at my own peril..

Today, I feel as George Washington must have, perched upon his horse on the New Jersey banks of the Hudson, watching the British inhabit New York and knowing there was nothing he or anyone else could do about it… Overmatched, the cause of freedom had taken a body slam.

Perhaps it is more like going back 2000 some years though. And being full of great optimism and hope for a burgeoning empire, a group of city states destined to prosper and rise, one whose morals would be impeccable, and suddenly without warning, ones best friend pulls out a knife and shoves it into your flesh and others pull out theirs, opening wounds where they can.

The Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution states that …. oh damn, here it is in it’s entirety.

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

Granted there have been times, particularly at war, when protecting Americans meant going against the grain of this… If someone is about to shoot you, I mean, it certainly would help if you know about it first…..

The problem with too much accumulation of information, is that once you have it, it can be used. Assurances along the lines of “I’ll never do that”… always down the line get replace with platitudes of…. ” I did it because I could…” or… ” I needed to.”

So having every thing you’ve ever done electronically in a file instantly accessed by simply typing in your name, can be a bit disconcerting… It’s a catch 22. If you have not a single demerit because you lead such a bland life, you get castigated for being a wallflower and uninteresting. On the other hand, if you take risks to live life fully, you get castigated for the errors you made… Either way, those with the power will use it to castigate you for something…. And though disguised as their trying to put you in your place, it is really their effective attempt to prove to others they wield power…

Today’s Senate voted overwhelmingly to continue the FISA Admendments Act. Like ACTA or CISPA or any other internet freedom restricting acts, had opposition been organized, it may have demanded another outcome. But today’s bill arose out of nowhere, and leadership demanded it pass, and pass it did….

Numb today, I understand the implications. It is like we chose to keep Japanese interned in concentration camps after the war was over. It is that bad.. If we are doing it for the Japanese, eventually someone argues, why not anyone else? And really, how else can one answer such an argument except to expand the offense to a greater scale?

I didn’t find about the attempted coup until waking up 3 am today. I did see outrage that Zuckerman’s picture was Twittered off a private feed! The silence over government taking our freedom, and the outrage over the release of privacy, is a stunning comparison. It begs the question: what is wrong with all of us? Shouldn’t the outrage be the other way around?

For the first time that I can find, we as a nation, have chosen to continue a war-powers act, on into peace-time. 9/11 is gone. Bin Laden is dead. We’ve preditor’d out Al Qaieda’s 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, in command. We are out of Iraq. We will soon be out of Afghanistan. We are not in a war for our nation’s survival. So why does the government need access into every American’s email, facebook account, twitter, photo’s? Why does the FBI need to show up at your facebook friends home, with a letter stating that you are under surveillance and then asking questions of their relationship with you, then forcing their silence by telling them that they can be prosecuted themselves if they even reveal to you that they’d had contact with government officials? Gee, did you ever had a friend get weird on you suddenly, like for no reason?

Should our government be allowed to do that?

According to the text of the Fourth Amendment listed above…. Absolutely Not.

And it was over before the child in me could even get his powder cartridge out of his gunnysack…

A. National Presidential Campaign run on the premise that 47% of the people “do not matter’.

B. The answer to curing mass killings of innocents, is even more guns. (Like let’s cure Cancer with more cancer.)

C. After disastrous losses because of their tax pledges, Republicans refuse to let tax cuts expire even on those making over $1 million.

D. Republicans don’t understand how sperm impregnates a female egg.

E.. Their national candidate was liberal, before he became conservative, before he became liberal again.

F. Republicans want to do away with access to birth control.

G. Republicans don’t want any single regulations on guns, not even background checks for mental illness.

H. Republican budgets lie just like their creators.. Paul Ryan.

I. Republicans have made no movement towards compromise. Democrats made up the plan, sold the plan, adjusted the plan, tweaked the plan, put the plan forward, sold the plan to the American people. Republican have done not one single thing….

J. Republicans can’t see it is their fault. Blame election results on people wanting “free stuff” when in fact, they just want competence in their leadership.

K. Even after suffering such a one sided loss like any team playing against the Crimson Tide, Republican 2016′ers are still positioning themselves by saying evolution is a false science….

Add your own… But have these guy seriously jumped the shark? I mean it’s funny, but except for the fact that this is our nation sitting in the parking lot after the race has been started, it’s not funny. It is why we have problems in America…. These guys won’t do anything….

When Gorbachev was out-couped in the Soviet Union, the Politburo and ruling junta of generals physically locked themselves in a room in the Kremlin with hundreds of cases of Russian vodka and drank themselves silly, and absolutely nothing got done…. except sex, and a lot of pissing. Eventually the new Russian Army under Yeltsin broke in and herded the drunks to the execution squad…. They were probably laughing at how silly they all looked with blindfolds being put on….

That is where today’s Republican Party is today. John Boehner’s responsible gestures to try and get things done responsibly fall on deaf ears… At the last caucus he was all but ignored amid chatter of “whose house we staying in tonight,” “here’s my $100″, “who’s bringing the girls this time?” “hey, don’t we need another pipe, didn’t someone smash the old one?” “Oh, and if we see a member of the press, just say ‘it’s Obama’s fault.”

As long as there is one elected Republican left standing, we as a nation are still sitting in the parking lot. Republicans forgot to bring the keys……

I dare any Republican to come to these pages and defend their inaction and irresponsibility…. You will see none taking up the challenge because they know, that lies don’t float here. They sink and drag down their originator with them….

$1.6 Trillion was put on the table and the Republicans nixed it. They probably did it for the wrong reasons. Because truth is, that amount should be raised. $1.6 Trillion in new revenue is too low!

First when one sees a figure like this, one must understand that this figure is spread over 10 years. (The nice part of choosing ten years as the time frame, is that it makes the math easier for most American’s to understand.) Therefore we are talking about acquiring a measly $160 billion per year. That may seem like a lot to someone who won that much in a powerball drawing, but, in the global economy, that is a drop in the bucket.

Here are some facts to put this much into perspective…

$160 Billion is the amount Federal Revenue dropped when the Bush Tax Cuts were inaugurated. It is also the amount of these , revenue increases from 2004-2005, 2005-2006. 2006-2007…… So such gains obviously don’t dent the economy.

2003-2004; this amount was was the sum of three supplemental bills for the Iraq War that passed Congress. Republicans had no problem borrowing $160 billion then.

2005-2006: same thing, supplemental bills passed to fund Iraq War. $204 Billion, borrowed.

2007 Supplemental bills passed totaling $170 Billion.

2008 Proposed budget for Mideast wars $190 billion.

2009 Proposed budget for Mideast wars: $130 billion.

2011 Proposed budget for Mideast wars: $160 billion.

One can see that we’ve indulged ourselves of thie $160 billion for ten years… All we are doing is simply taking the same amount of time to quietly pay it back.

It won’t hurt anybody.

How does this stack up to our GDP? Current estimates rank our GDP at number one with $17 Trillion dollars… So how much does $160 billion dollars suck out as a percentage of our GDP? That is the surest method to determine if any economic effect derives from those top earners paying more.

$160 Billion divided by $17 trillion … equals a percentage of…. 9 tenths of a single percent… That would be the equivalent of a sealing and coating charge of $282 added to your $30,000 brand new vehicle you bought… Does that little bit, cause YOU NOT TO switch out your clunker for a fine set of wheels? Don’t expect the wealthy to feel the hit either.

Remember again, we are not taking this from poor people. We are taking it only from those who have so much money, they loose hair follicles trying to figure where to invest it… Furthermore, each of those billionaires, will most likely make double that amount in new profits as the economy takes off and profits soar. Simply put, arguing over this paltry amount is silly. The only reason it is getting done at all, is because they (Republicans) think you are too dumb to know better…..

That is the only reason it is in the news today at all. Let’s try to make that number bigger. We know that the effect of siphoning 160 Billion a year is minimal, let us see how that affects only the wealthy?

The top 1% owns 40% of the wealth… 1/40. Total net worth of America was $55 Trillion in 2009. That was a sharp reduction from the all time high in 2007 at $66 Trillion. But at $55 trillion the amount of that being owned by the top 1% as we saw at the rate of 40%….. is…. $21.6 trillion. (the 99% own the other $34 Trillion)… So as a yearly assessment off their wealth, this $160 billion is one third of one penny on the dollar… In layman’s terms that mean one penny on every $3 dollars earned…. That is not going to kill anybody….

Granted, when you own $21 Trillion, writing a check for an extra $160 billion dollars is a shock, but to pay only a penny increase on every three dollars earned? Wow, if only the rest of us could be so lucky….

This is why we should not wait. We can make greater improvement and set our financial house in order by tripling that amount, quadrupling that amount, quintupling that amount…. or even times it by a power of ten….

When someone has a surplus of money they can never spend, 3 cents on every additional dollar owned is nothing. Especially, when the lower 80% is being asked to pay ten cents more of every dollar to their pensions, their insurance funds, and bank fees, just so those at the top can make even MORE money…..

Our nation’s economy can even afford a $10 trillion tax hike, (3 cents on the dollar)and do so with all the burden coming from only the top 1% of wealth holders… This tiny amount is nothing to them…

For Republicans to gnash their teeth over our President’s paltry $1.6 Trillion revenue jump, is demeaning, cowardly, and actually makes them look like silly, pompous old men, when a $10 Trillion tax increase is so easily doable.

And if anyone were to ever believe them, and back down from the $160 billion a year, their simply saying such,… may cause irreparable damage to our country…

This is from open secrets.org. It has accumulated evidence throughout the election how much money superpacs have collected….

This money is just from the SuperPac’s. It does not include money given directly to the candidate…

Over all, during the election of 2012, SuperPacs collected total receipts of $663,014,402 and total independent expenditures of $680,716,540 in the 2012 cycle. Notice the $17 million deficit for which revenues still must be acquired….

Briefly put, here are the donations broken down by industry…..

Agribusiness…….. 23 million
Communication/Electronics…….. 25 million
Construction………15 million
Defense.………….14 million
Energy/Natural Resources……….29 million
Finance/Insurance/Real Estate…..65 million
Health.……………55 million
Single Issue……….60 million
Labor……………..64 million
Lawyers/Lobbyists…..16 million
Misc. Business……..38 million
Other……………..01 million
Transportation……..21 million

Keep in mind this is over and beyond what may have personally been given to the candidates and filed with the FEC….

One begins to see what’s behind some rather peculiar pieces of legislation we have had thrust upon us…. Oddly, the balance for the most part was even between Democrats and Republicans…

Sher’s new mailing piece is effective. It actually tugged at my heartstrings. If you never see it, it has ten of Delaware state government’s officials, all men, whose headshots are in that grainy black and white only see on political hit pieces, and offset by a color picture of her.

“None of the top political leaders in Delaware today speak for women. They’re all men.”

“Cheryl Anne “Sher” Valenzuela: A voice for women and expanded opportunity for all.”

This caused me for a minute to doubt myself. Wow, it’s true. There are no women controlling the Senate or the House, even though there are many women in the Senate and House itself. There are no women in any state elected offices… So, wow. it’s true…

For a second I had a tug, that said, well maybe I’ll break will and put just one vote to a Republican. That feeling lasted for about one second….

My next thought, was who would I be taking out. It was Matt Denn. Matt is the kind of person that whenever a woman approaches him with an proposition, Matt will say “ok, let me see what I can do.” Matt is pro choice. pro kids. pro family. and especially where it counts: pro woman.”

Sher is a Republican.

The official Republican platform is this: no abortion even if you get raped, even if you get incested by your Daddy, even if your life will expire, (oh, That’s ok as long as that rape-child is kept alive until we can be cut open and extract it. After all, it was God who put that rape child in there.)

That is the “official Republican” position: Romney supported it. Ryan created it. And sometimes Republicans occasionally mess up and forget their instructions are to stay mum, and they it slips out how they “really” feel….

Oh, that is silly, you say? You tell me Sher is not the national Party; she is my next door neighbor?

So then, please tell me: what is her position on abortion? Aye, she’s against it.

Rest my case.

Very often proponents of “the other party” (it doesn’t matter which one it is), bring up this notion. “Well, one should elect a good person irregardless of party; that is how you get good government, by making it full of only good people…”

Problem with that statement, is that though it may seem like common sense, it is not true. Things in reality don’t work that way.

Let us imagine that the college National Football Championship was still decided by a committee. Your cross-town rival was up for a vote. You know if your rival is chosen, he is able to recruit better players in the future, and you will have even a tougher time going against him… Therefore you will do everything in your power to make that choice not happen.

That is how every Republican works. They do not believe that a person goes into government, states ones position, listens to the other side, then votes the best choice for their constituents. They believe their role is to make sure nothing beneficial at all, can come from their competitor, the Democratic Party…. Even if their constituents will benefit economically from a Democrat’s upcoming legislation, they work diligently to make sure that can never happen, or at least it won’t happen until THEY can be in the majority and get the “full” credit for it.

Perfect example? Obamacare. ORIGINALLY THAT WAS THE REPUBLICAN HEALTHCARE PLAN PUSHED THROUGH BY THE

    REPUBLICAN PARTY,

DURING THE YEARS OF BUSH …

But ONCE the exact same plan became Obamacare, the meme came to “defeat it at every turn.” Fortunately a form of it passed and across the board, consumers now are paying less for coverage and getting a lot more benefit from the little they do pay.. It was a win, win, for everyone, except for Republicans who have it on their record as a black mark because “they” didn’t pass it and Democrats did…

Ok, so that’s the background… now here is the argument. Transport yourself back 80 years to Nazi Germany. You are in the middle of a national election. You have a candidate who earlier said some horrible things, and now, is coming across as a super nice guy who will make change happen. The other side is telling you “what’s wrong with you, are you stupid, here it is in Mein Kampf. HE WANTS TO EXTERMINATE EVERYONE BUT ARYANS.

You can’t believe something so horrible could come from such a nice man. And, you do think it is time for change, because progress HAS been too slow. So you vote for Hitler….

Two years later you have a Jewish friend who you grew up with. He is deep into the same change, and he has embraced the Nazi Party. You think that putting him in will somehow modify those stringent voices you have indeed heard deep within the Nazi’s calling for complete Jewish extinction. But at this point two years after Hitler’s election, you have a choice of electing his opponent, a person from a party who is anti- Nazi or your friend, who is Jewish and yet pro-Nazi…

If you elect your friend, the Nazi’s just swallow him up.(Sooner or later he winds up in a camp). But if you elect the opposite, then you have some chance at mitigating their destructive path… they don’t have quite all the votes they will need to grant themselves dictatorial powers.

In this allegory, Sher is that Jewish friend. She is one of you who is pretending to be one of them… In this allegory, Hitler represents today’s party platform; one that is solidly against women… “you will have no rights over your body” is their official platform.

We are being asked by Sher to dismiss that. “Oh no,” she says. “Look at me, I’m woman. I’ll never let “that” happen to you.”

All I’m saying here is consider what happen to the Jews of Europe after the election of 1933…. Growing up we always learned Hitler was a horrible monster. What I’m just learning now, is that it took an awful lot of little horrible monsters to vote him into power. Im sure in God’s eyes, every single voter who put Hitler into power, is as guilty of the exterminations as is he….

Therefore, even if Sher was a raging femme-nazi (she isn’t), the fact that putting anyone from her party regardless of character into an office, would cause irreparable harm to women…

Just curious. How many Jews in the Nazi Party (there were many in the beginning) were able to persuade Hitler away from his core belief of what he had once written?

It is what it is. Any Republican, no matter who, keeps our current equivalent of the Nazi Party’s hopes alive… Just imagine the difference, if Germany had chosen to elect someone else, and Hitler became the equivalent of Sarah Palin?

We are at that exact point this year. We know Republicans fail women. Any republican that gets elected, even if they are just looking over Wills, supports the party that makes our lives harder, tougher, and more insecure. A lesson needs be taught: we do not want Republicans anywhere near our bodies… period…

You can’t stop it from the inside: we are going to stop it from the outside…

That lesson applies to Sher.

This comes from the Ohio contract for voting machines.   Notice the conflict of interest clause.  How does that square with  the President candidate’s son owning a piece of  every voting machine in Cincinnati?   How does that square with that same company having three out of five board members all contributors to Romney’s campaign?  How does that square with that same company having three board members  from a Romney owned company sitting on their board?  How does that square with the holding company owning these voting machines being Romney’s eleventh LARGEST contributor?

Most people won’t pick up a piece of shit, because it stinks…    THIS  STINKS…..  and breeches the contract…..  Sherod Brown should be very concerned…
