This is post number 2000.
The only real significance is it is 150 posts more than where Tommywonk stopped exactly one year and fifteen days ago…
If some future historian looks back, I can only guess they may kindly make some note of the quality of thought that underlies these efforts, but my guess, is no one will ever notice…
Irregardless, as long as the urge to put thoughts down for others continues, we will go on. As usual, with no goal, no direction, and no ulterior motive. Probably upon reflection, my biggest surprise, right here, right now … is that I still enjoy it so much, and can’t wait to jot my thoughts down, click the button, and send them off to where ever cyberspace and the vast internet ocean, lets them drift….
For each of you who have become regular over the years, … thank you friend…

The truth as offered by one kavips.
For years, I’ve been checking on what kavips has to say on any subject – sometimes subjects I thought I had no interest in. For the same reason, after some news events, I might tune into WDMG. What? (What did Colley, Rush offer, from that recent occurrence?) Usually, it’s something horrendous.
But I often agree, kavips is onto some underlying revelation that stirred the motivation to speak out: ‘No people – this is the ‘truth.’ Kavips nailed it again.
Kavip should realize, by not commenting, readers are saying – yes, kavips has it right. Kavips gets it and adds a much needed touch of truth and sanity to the world.
But I’ll explain why I sometimes check on the horrid republican propaganda, even though I can only stand a couple of minutes worth at a time.(In the same matter, one has an interest in what the republicans will be saying at their convention.) It’s to see how a republican talking head can continually mangle the truth – and to see what new evil direction they are onto. Republican examples: Rape, and ‘legitimate rape’. Or – CO2 is a harmless, natural, beneficial compound, one exhales: more is better. The world is cooooooling. Ha.

Kavips is a force of truth, kindly offering solutions, unending motivation, with vivid analogies, boldness (whoa, kavip came out and said it) with random, interesting offerings of one’s thought process and bold touches of humor for good measure.
Kavip’s good work is soundly in touch with reality, with older posts passing the truth test and new posts shining light on underlying matters soundly of the better public interest. Like someone shining a flashlight onto the dark corners of humanity – ‘hey what’s going on there.’
PS
One might add, kavips ‘allows’ comments so readers can think for themselves while writing and readers can judge for themselves; whereas DP has eliminated, blocked links to articles, videos of the most peer reviewed scientific integrity (climate change for example) to keep their readers confused, dangerously ignorant of truth and in lock step with the larger republican fossil fuel agenda, just as WDMG would attack such a caller. ‘Oh, the caller got disconnected.’
But kavips, never stops presenting the opinions.
Here’s an example of what kavips does: If I hadn’t just checked out kavips and begun to write, I wouldn’t have come to the following truth. Republicans attempt to stamp out the truth. Instead, republicans want our government (and the people’s thoughts) to operate from the top economic level philosophy for the rich, (telling voters, more fossil fuels will trickle down jobs.) No mention of what more fossil fuels will really do and cost the public. Whereas, democrats work in the people’s interest and trickle their power up, for a government of, by and for the people. Leading to the question, should a poor, middle, upper middle class voter, vote for a government of, by, for the powerful elite’s financial benefit, while destroying the public’s air, lands, waters as the public is left with the damages, a questionable future for life on the planet – and the deaths, suffering and costs from same?
No wonder republicans lie and attempt to silence truth.
Kavips lets the light shine.
