There are dozens and dozens of great links within the Climate Code Red link posted by kavips, this as one example.

http://www.climatecodered.org/2012/04/triggering-permafrost-meltdown-is.html

Perhaps as people read about the vast variety of the changes taking place, they will realize their futures are in the hands of special interests and their politicians, who are doing relatively zero to stop climate change. Mitigation is a different subject; mitigation is adaptation that would attempt to deal with the results of climate change, the effects rather than the cause - not dealing with the continuing cause.

There are also hundreds of videos by the most reliable of sources, that are very effective in relating the scientists' findings to the average person. The climate scientists work with complex computer programs, calculations, climate histories, planet data, terminology, etc that would be meaningless to the average person. Climate scientists have realized what they know, has not be passed along to the people who need to know, what their future holds. In fact, the public has been misinformed (in simple, unscientific terms,) by special interest groups and their own political 'leaders' in many cases.

The following video for example, 'Permafrost Is Thawing Rapidly,' explains melting permafrost releasing methane gas, a gas that is 25 times more powerful a greenhouse gas than CO2. It helps the average person understand what is happening and what skeptics and deniers, don't want the public to know.

As a tiny sampling of what's available to the public now, see videos Permafrost Is Thawing Rapidly, Glaciers Shrinking at Alarming Rate and Rise of Sea Levels Is Accelerates, here:

It's time for politicians to represent the best interests of the people, instead of fossil fuel interests.

Rmoney and Ryan are stating upfront and outright, they have the interests of the fossil fuel industries in mind and expect republican voters to think, that's a good thing. Really?
