Look,….. for a blogger to be outraged at another blogger is just silly. Oh, you can whine and moan, and say you’d never stoop to a certain level, but when it comes down to it. a blogger blogs because he wants the world to know his perspective on things….
If a blogger is a sweet guy, he has a sweet perspective and his blogs are nice…
If a blogger is smart, and has a special insight on human nature, his blogs tend to be…. insightful….
If a blogger is an odious asshole, someone you’d leave the room before he even entered just because his face looks like a pile of excrement, and his complexion is the color of a vaginal infection, then his blogs will smell like shit and decayed sperm.
You judge the blogger by the blog.
So, since I’m slow on the uptake of this one, (Steve Newton alerted me… and I was slow to pick up the kickoff… sort of enjoying the first bouncing pigskin of the season.) I’ll defer to Steve and then comment….
So, let us judge this blog Steve points us to in an insightful way, shall we? And perhaps we can gain insight as to the type of a person controlling this particular blog’s content.
WOULD THE PROSECUTOR PLEASE ADDRESS THE COURT AND NOW PRESENT THE CHARGES AGAINST KENNY RIVERA…. (these are lifted from the blog)
Hi, your honor. I’m Evan Queitish. Here are the charges I’m bringing,… proving Kenny Rivera is a communist and implying he is unfit for office.
1) Mr. Rivera is the worst kind of teacher, a history teacher fresh out of the UD school of advanced Progressive policies who loves his union. gRRRR.
2) He has a progressive (read: Communist) pedigree and again… a teacher…. gRRRR.
3) His wife is a (sweet young woman)…. gRRRR.
4) He goes to church, not just to attend services, BUT HE EVEN GOES TO SECRET GET-TOGETHERS TO STUDY THE LORD’S WORD!!!!!!!!!
5) He once decried Capitalism always turned out to be oppressive, and as the world today certainly shows (as well as the history of the world up to 1932), unfettered capitalism does not work as an effective model.
6) He implied the Nation of God, our beloved Israel, actually had and fostered communes. Oh the horror.
7) There are only, only, only six degrees of separation between Kenny and Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez….
8) Kenny is not a true believer of the Biblical Worldview because he once mentioned on YouTube that teachers have to dig out of their own pockets to cover at least the minimum of supplies needed in their classrooms.
9) Through his association with Mike Matthews, Sam Lathem, and Frederica Jenner, Kenny is a communist. (And yes, we are totally ignoring his association with me, those in our group, our church the LoCC, and it’s Pastor, Pastor Steve, which could just as well imply that since Kenny associates with those who worship Christ, by such association he could also be a Christian and therefore not a communist.).. But by his association with only these three people, Kenny is a communist.
IS THAT ALL THE CHARGES EVAN?
Yes…
WOULD THE DEFENSE LIKE TO ANSWER THESE CHARGES?
Yes your honor. We submit that these charges be dropped since they are based on a fallacy of reasoning. And any charge based on a fallacy, by rule of law, is to be immediately dismissed.
THE DEFENSE MAY NOW PROCEED.
“Your Honor,”
“In his charge, Evan Queitish, makes this statement that defines his Deistic statehood argument……”
“The concept that God created everything and therefore government should be subservient to Him, is sometimes hard for us to swallow but an important point nonetheless.”
“Mr Queitish makes this the central argument of his case. God created everything and all things, including government, are subservient to God…”
“MR QUEITISH: IS THAT A FAIR ASSESSMENT OF WHAT YOU SAID?”
“Absolutely your honor…. Government is subservient to God.”
Your Honor, as Mr. Queitish has just said, Government is subservient to God… If so, then it must follow that whatever Christian’s believe, government should be made with that in mind. If Christians believe in small government, it should be small. IF Christians believe in no taxes, there should not be tax. If Christians believe in getting rid of unions, they should be gotten rid of. I believe if I understood Mr. Queitish correctly, he would not have problems with these scenarios?
“That is correct your honor…”
So, the argument that Even Queitish insists upon, is, that Christians who reverently believe in their values, should have the right to insist those values be also reflected in which ever governments they serve under… I believe Mr. Queitish would have no qualms with this reasoning….
Your Honor, that is correct….
And so, if a Christian believes in something God tells him to do, he is obligated to work to make that government reflect the vision that God has given him… is that not correct?
Absolutely; he is commanded by God to do so…..
So, that were God to tell a Christian that capitalism is not working and God then commands that Christian start a commune, is that Christian also obligated to then work to make his government reflect this vision that God has given him? Is that not correct?
Perhaps.
Would Mr. Queitish also concur, that the root of Christianity, comes as does the word from Christ? And would Mr. Queitish also concur that same Christ to be the Son of God?
Why, yes your honor.
Is Mr. Queitish familiar with the gospel according to Matthew, chapter 19; versus 16 to 30?
Not off the top of my head, but I’ve probably heard them before.
With your honor’s permission, I will no enter as evidence, a passage of Matthew 19: versus 16 to 30. Would Mr. Queitish please honor the court with his reading of the Holy Word?
Certainly: 16 Now a man came to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”
17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.”
18 “Which ones?” the man inquired.
Jesus replied, “Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, 19 honor your father and mother,” and “love your neighbor as yourself.”
20 “All these I have kept,” the young man said, “What do I still lack?”
21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Mr. Queitish, you are familiar with this passage, are you not?
Yes, your honor.
And you accept the notion of the Trinity, that Jesus is part of God, and God is part of Jesus, so when Jesus speaks, God also is speaking. Am I correct in assuming you too share that belief.
Your honor, I am proud to publicly share that belief.
Can you, Evan Quetish, please tell the court what must happen, for this man to get to heaven?
He.. He…. he…. must……. give…up….. his….. worldly….. possessions…. and give…. them…. to…. the ….poor… to follow….. Jesus….
You are correct Sir…
Mr. Evan Queitish has just confirmed that God says the only way this man could get to heaven would be to sell all he had and give to the poor…
Is Mr. Queitish familiar with the rules of an commune? Ie that they give up everything they own, and work for the greater good of their community?
Yes.
And is what Jesus specifically says, which Mr. Queitish expressly said just a moment before hand, that was the same as coming from God’s mouth himself… exactly what people do in a commune?
Uhhh,
ANSWER YES OR NO, MR QUEITISH. YOU ARE UNDER OATH.
Yes.
So, boiling everything down, isn’t the Christian who starts a commune probably a better Christian, at least in God’s eyes, than the person who takes money from other people?
Yes.
And as Evan Queitish previously stated, isn’t it a Christians duty to make his sovereign government reflect the vision that God has laid out before him?
Yes, I did say that.
And as Evan Queitish previously stated, isn’t Communism a belief extolling the absence of God, so that if Kenny here happens to state that he believes in Matthew 19: 16-30, which Evan previously admitted himself, was uttered from the mouth of God, doesn’t his following of Christ’s word to the letter, make him then a non-communist?
You honor, the defense requests that this case be dismissed on insufficient evidence, and that new charges of communism and blasphemy be subsequently filed for Mr Evan Queitish, who, is promoting a concept of government that Jesus himself condemned, and who has just charged my client Kenny, to be a communist when he is actually a much better Christian than Evan Queitish ever could be, that is… if we can believe these words spoken by God himself….
MOTION ACCEPTED. CASE DISMISSED ON A FALLACY OF REASONING. KENNY, YOU ARE FREE TO GO. WILL THE BAILIFF AND PROSECUTOR PLEASE STEP FORWARD AND ESCORT EVAN QUEITISH TO THE HOLDING CELL WHILE CHARGES ARE FILED.
Wait, wait..NOOOOO … what are the charges?
PRIMARILY: IMPERSONATING AN AMERICAN…… SUBSEQUENTLY BY MAKING FALSE AND ACCUSATORY STATEMENTS…. BY MAKING UNCHRISTIAN-LIKE STATEMENTS…. BY LIABLE…. BY PRESSING FALSE CHARGES…. BY BREAKING VOWS OF CONFIDENCE UTTERED IN RELIGIOUS CONFINEMENT…. BY SLANDERING SAM LATHAM, MIKE MATTHEWS, ERICA JENNER, ALL WHO SEEM MORE IN LINE WITH JESUS’S TEACHING THAN THE CRAP YOU POSTED….
YOU ARE HEREBY JUDGED, BY THE POPULACE OF AMERICA, AS BEING UNFIT FOR OFFICE, IMMORAL, CREEPY, VISCOUS, UNPRINCIPLED, UNWELCOMED BY SOCIETY, AND A SILLY JOKE OF A MAN. A CLOWN. A FOOL. A SIMPLETON. SOMEONE WHO CONDEMNS ANOTHER THROUGH MEANS OF A CHRISTIAN ARGUMENT WITHOUT EVEN REFERENCING THE BIBLE. EVERYTHING YOU SAY FROM HEREON INTO THE FUTURE, WILL NOW, FOREVER BE JUDGED BECAUSE OF YOUR ACTIONS, FROM THIS PERSPECTIVE.
MAY GOD HAVE MERCY UPON YOU.

Hello, Everyone…
If past history is any guide, the words of Evan Queitish will soon disappear from the internet.
Therefore as one of Delaware’s self appointed historians, I have enclosed as a service to those who do not want to be recorded as visiting Evan’s site, a pasted copy of his statement that was sent to me for analysis.
It will be here always for future reference. So down the road, when they say Evan never wrote such a letter. we will all know where to find it… Below it will be….
It has come to my attention that some folks are a little confused about a recent stand I took during the 2012 Red Clay School Board race. It appears that some folks are having trouble mucking through the reality of things. Also, because the individual in question has kept his views largely hidden behind the veil of his “faith”, it is now difficult for some to grasp the idea that someone who has been a stalwart member of the church for 10 years is suddenly labeled a Communist. Let’s dive right in.
For those who do not know, Kenny Rivera, a Brandywine School District teacher and member of my church (Love of Christ in Bear) ran for the Red Clay School Board seat in 2012. Kenny has been a member of LoCC for a decade and has served in various positions within the church. To say the least, without any other information, one would contend that he was a swell guy and a disciple of Christ. Perhaps he is, I’ll get to why I say that later. As you might have gleaned, I opposed Mr. Rivera’s run for the School Board. I did so for a number of reasons. Practically, I think having a public school teacher, even one from another district, sitting on the School Board who negotiates with the teachers unions and sets policies for the school staff, is sort of like letting a fox sit on the hen house construction board or putting the inmates in charge of the asylum (which may be a better analogy in Delaware’s schools). Specifically, Mr. Rivera is the worst kind of teacher, a history teacher fresh out of the UD school of advanced Progressive policies who loves his union. Here is a video of our friend Kenny engaged in a rant about how oppressed Delaware’s teachers (which are by the way, among the top in terms of public school teachers pay and benefits.) are given necessary budget cuts in order to refrain from higher taxes:
So sorry Kenny, that you all might have to tighten your belts and make some tough decisions like the rest of us. But it’s not just his questionable recordings, his progressive (read: Communist) pedigree or his status as a teacher that made me oppose him so vehemently. No, my opposition spanned across the job defined lines and went to the core of Mr. Rivera’s beliefs. You see, late last year, Mr. Rivera and his wife (a sweet young woman) attended a small group with my wife, myself and about a dozen other LoCC church members. We engaged in a study called “The Truth Project” that had been put together by Focus on the Family. For those who are unfamiliar with The Truth Project, it is a Biblical Worldview study that helps to make sense of the world around us in a Biblical context. For those who are not Christians, understanding life from a Biblical perspective wouldn’t mean much but that doesn’t mean that one should over look the study. For a Christian, the study asks “Do you really believe that what you believe is really real.” In other words, are you full of it, just trying to be part of the group or do you REALLY believe what you say you believe? How does that affect a non-Christian? Well, would you prefer to know that the person you are voting for/supporting actually BELIEVES what he/she says they believe or do you want someone who lies about their very core beliefs? Just from an honesty perspective, removing the religious context, the answer is clear. The Truth Project is intense and it goes through a series of lessons that really press Christians to examine the world in every aspect from society to science to history and even our very being. It leads us to question and sometimes it smacks us in the face. It’s not uncommon for us to lurch back a bit when concepts that are so ingrained in us by a world that is contrary to the Biblical worldview we’re taught (as Christians, remember, the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the Truth and the guide to how we are supposed to live our lives. Albeit we all fall short but it’s supposed to be our road map…believing in it and adhering to what it says is really the whole point) are pressed and make no mistake, the instructor, Dr. Del Tackett who teaches the video lessons on DVD, presses hard on sensitive topics. The whole discussion is done in a small group setting to facilitate discussions among the group members as these lessons are so thought provoking that the bottom line is, we’re going to have reactions…some visceral. This particular small group was no exception. There were a number of times where individuals were hit in the stomach with Truth and that Truth hurt. Debates ensued and some heated but there was one outburst in particular that applies here. The 9th and 10th lessons, done on weeks 10 and 11 in the small group cycle, are entitled “The State: Whose Law?” and “The American Experiment: Stepping Stones”. The first of these lessons delves into God’s purpose for government and how God intends us to interact with the State (i.e. Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.) and with our government authority. This lesson recognizes the authority of government but limits the depths to which God intended the government arm to reach. It really contradicts the idea of a large, all powerful big brother government that controls many aspects of daily life and confiscates property from the people and places God at the head above any elected officials. The concept that God created everything and therefore government should be subservient to Him is sometimes hard for us to swallow but an important point nonetheless. The second of these two focus points is self explanatory really. It’s a look at the founding of America from a Biblical perspective and quite frankly, it simply takes facts that have long been buried by historical revisionism and makes them plain. Our founders, despite popular opinion, were extremely devout Christians in almost every case and they believed that the land we call home was divine intervention and that our government ought to be divinely inspired. These are concepts that, quite frankly, shouldn’t be far out for a solid Christian who has served his church for 10 years and who believes in the Word of God. It was after that 10th lesson that Mr. Rivera let loose an outburst that caught the room off guard. What is said in small group is not supposed to leave the confines of our group. That being said I will not say what exactly was said during that session. But his outburst did start a series of conversations that him and I had after small group discussing topics that we are on different ends of defending. Even the outburst wouldn’t have been enough to cause me to push back during his run for office but for the immediately following separate conversations that a few of us had with the young Mr. Rivera. You see, after that meeting, we broke and a couple of us approached Kenny to ask for some clarification of his positions. Along the way, he decried capitalism as oppressive and pointed to the world today as proof that it simply doesn’t work as an economic model. He also more than implied, he flat out stated that Communism itself was a fine ideal when carried forward by Christians. We tried to explain that the whole point of Communism was the removal of God as the head and a complete reliance on the State as the sole provider. He deflected by pointing to Jewish communes in Israel that are basically mini theocracies. Each of the inhabitants works outside the commune and brings their whole earnings back into the community. Each then withdraws as they need, living on basic necessities (a point he left out but one that shouldn’t go ignored) only. These theocratic communes he cited as proof that his version of Communism/Socialism would be sustainable.
Given the outburst and the conversations had after the group, it leads one to question, what DOES Kenny Rivera believe? Well, let’s look at his political pals. First, his Campaign Manager, Mike Matthews. Mr. Matthews is, surprise, surprise, another teacher (he’s corrupting 5th graders while Mr. Rivera is focused on the high schoolers). He’s also well known for his blog “Down with Absolutes” which, as the name implies, suggests that there is no need for right and wrong in many cases, it’s all about the grey area. Down with Absolutes is gone and along with it some of Mr. Matthews’ history but Town Square Delaware, a group of Delaware middle grounders has come along and resurrected his blogging career. Reading through it, if you can stomach much of it, you’ll find a few things you can agree with, like the fact that more government intervention is strangling our schools, and lots that lead you to say, is he serious? In the doozie linked here, Matthews displays his contempt for the idea that some things ought not to change (like man/woman only marriage, low taxes and belief in Adam & Eve). So, is Matthews a Communist? Well, no, I don’t think he’s a Communist. He’s misguided, a lost sheep and one of those folks who gives himself far more credit due to his intellect than he deserves, but he’s not a Communist. At least, not that I can ascertain. With that said, he does have some tendencies and some contacts that lead him in the direction of Delaware’s Communist community. So we know now that Mr. Rivera’s publicly endorsed Communism and that his top campaign guy is at best a misguided progressive with ties to Delaware’s far left and potentially one of those far leftists. How about his financial backers? Well, anyone in Red Cay and some of us from outside of Red Clay got inundated with school board campaign materials this year. Mr. Rivera’s campaign materials were paid for by the “Working Families PAC”. As those of us in politics understand, these innocuous sounding names for PACs are intended to not alert the public and keep the true intentions of the PAC under the radar. These particular mailers contained more information however. They added the Treasurer and the heads of the organization to the list of information. In this case, Jackie Canada, Sam Lathem and Frederica Jenner were listed at the top of this organizations structure. If these names sound familiar, it will all make sense soon. You see, the Working Families PAC is a combined PAC serving the Delaware State Education Association (DSEA, a.k.a. the teachers union) and the Delaware AFL-CIO (another labor union). When confronted with this reality, Mr. Rivera told more than one person that the “Working Families PAC” was a “Christian PAC” run by Gary Bauer. Ridiculous to say the least. The “Working Families PAC” is a front group to funnel money from the unions to the school boards and other political campaigns to make sure that THEIR people get in office. Of course, many organizations and business groups do that, no biggie right? Well, the AFL-CIO’s national head, Richard Trumka is an avowed Communist sympathizer who has openly decried Capitalism. How does that relate to lil ole Delaware? I mean, after all, not all union members are bad right? Well, no, not all of them are bad, but the problem is with the labor unions, corruption is a way of life and you don’t get to be President of an AFL-CIO branch without being “one of them”. Mr. Lathem has expressed solidarity with both the anti-capitalist Occupy protests and the anti-Scott Walker movement in Wisconsin which has shown labor unions, radicals and Communists as deep allies. Latham has been at the forefront of every left wing gathering and has advocated a redistribution of wealth and the increased force of the labor unions. Still need more to be convinced? Well, remember this, Sam Lathem is a member of the North American Region of the African Socialist International (ASI). In 2011, they attended a conference in Venezuela where they showed their support and solidarity with Hugo Chavez, the Socialist dictator. The following excerpt from the link above gives some insight into what Mr. Lathem believes:
In addition to participating in various workshops and lectures, the ASI also attended the conference to express our unity and support for Commandante Hugo Chavez and his efforts to lead Venezuela in the nationalization of its resources and the resistance to U.S. imperialism’s attempts to control those resources.
At the same time, we aimed to deepen the discussion around the crisis of imperialism in the midst of which the Venezuelan conference was occurring.
It was a commonly held opinion of those who attended the conference that Africans of the world are struggling against racism as opposed to colonialism and neocolonialism.
Racism, through the eyes of the ASI, is simply the ideological underpinning of capitalism and imperialism, a social and economic system maintained through political and military power in the hands of our oppressors.
Huh, so one of Mr. Rivera’s top backers, one of the Co-Chairs of the PAC that bought his mailers and pressed the public to vote for him, is an anti-Capitalist? Ok, ok, ok, so what? I mean Sam Lathem is the President of the AFL-CIO who HAPPENS to be a co-chair of the PAC that put all the money and volunteers on the street to help Mr. Rivera. But Kenny’s not and AFL-CIO member, he’s a DSEA member (see DSEA sponsored video message here) and Frederica Jenner is HIS connection. She seems nice enough. Well, that may be true. I am always skeptical however, of union leaders and so I’ve done some looking. Turns out that Frederica has an interesting story about her life and here is a little excerpt:
I am not Black. I am not poor. I am not gay. I am not Latino. I am a well-educated, upper-middle-class, middle-aged white woman.* BUT, I AM OFFENDED.
*For the sake of full disclosure, y’all need to realize that I am a long-time, died-in-the-wool, liberal East Coast Democrat. I am somewhat active in local Democratic politics. However, I come from a hard-core Republican background. My grandfather was a regular delegate from Western Maryland to the Republican National Convention. Papa would not understand my point of view. And, until the late 1960′s, my parents were ardent Republicans–my mother had a pair of rhinestone earrings that spelled out I LIKE IKE. [Two thoughts: (1) Those long-gone earrings would have some real $$ value these days. (2) Who doesn't like Ike? Compared to the current bevy of candidates, Ike looks like a champ.]
Hmmm, ok so she’s a “died-in-the-wool, liberal East Coast Democrat”. So what? Well I read through her blog postings (I find that to be a way to find out what people REALLY think) and she’s right, she’s a typical, “died-in-the-wool, liberal East Coast Democrat”. That is to say, she really crosses those of us who hold a “Biblical Worldview” in a number of areas from socially acceptable behavior (she advocates for gay “marriage” among other morally questionable actions). She’s also a solid union leader and by that of course, I means she’s always attacking the greedy capitalists like Skip Schoenells who is considered an education reform leader and whose associated groups seek to improve our educational output to better prepare our children to succeed in life. Steve Newton over at Delaware Libertarian has a great expose on some of the incredible contradictions that Frederica makes with regards to campaign financing generally and the “Working Families PAC” vs. Voices for Delaware Education funding war specifically. It also greatly details how the teacher salaries that she complains about are funneled through union dues to politicians and political cronies. ADD MOMENT: How come the teachers union leaders always rail about how little their members make, yet they never seem to care quite enough to cut their membership dues to help alleviate some stress? Huh…anyway… Mrs. Jenner is a 60’s radical (her own words) just like the bulk of the Obama Administration. She’s Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Van Jones. She’s just a teacher and a union leader, not a politician. So Kenny is backed and supported by the far left in Delaware, promoted by Progressives (read: Communists who changed their name to Progressive to hide their true values) and Socialists. He’s a nice guy but folks, he’s one of them and THEIR values don’t line up with God’s Truth.
There’s one final reason why I pressed so hard against Mr. Rivera’s candidacy. He used our church and our church leaders for political gain. Now, I’m a Christian and a committed one. That doesn’t mean I’m perfect, in fact, it means quite the opposite. Any Christian, who truly believes, understands that we are all flawed, all fallen and that we are not perfect. If a Christian stands up and says that they are perfect, they are a fraud. With that said, I’m also in the political game and so I understand the desire to reach out to a cross section of voters. I also know that a vote based on faith is one of the most powerful votes you can receive. Why? Because if you connect spiritually, you get more than a vote, you get their efforts to elect you because they feel connected to you. This is not something that ought to be faked or taken out of school. It’s an important connection to make and morally, it’s important to do it honestly. Also, our connection to our churches ought to be something that we brag about but also something that is sacred. As a Biblical Worldview Christian and one engaged in politics, I believe that it’s important that we not get trapped into the mindset that we shouldn’t bring politics to the church or the church to politics. Quite the contrary, I see both needing a role in the other in order for our nation to survive. However, using your affiliation with a church, whose membership doesn’t really know what you believe, is a little hinky. In fact, in my own campaign I have resolved not to seek an endorsement from my team of pastors specifically because I do not want to drag them into the divisive world of Delaware politics and also because the congregation as a whole can’t possibly be in total agreement enough with me to warrant such a declaration of support. Our pastor’s have a duty to lead us spiritually and that crosses through politics but it doesn’t weave into it. So I will and do mention my affiliation with Love of Christ Church in Bear, Delaware because I believe that it’s important for people to know where I worship and because it is the grounding for my faith. People can go, experience the church and decide if what they see there is reflected in who I am. I strive to make sure that it is. I’m also a little different than most folks. I don’t hide my beliefs in either area, politics or religion. I’m an open book and a straight shooter so people can get a sense of what I believe and how I operate right away. I can’t say the same for Mr. Rivera. He attends the church, sits in the pews and hears the message every week but then he turns around and rejects the Biblical Worldview that Jesus requires of us. I simply cannot reconcile that concept and to make matters worse, he actually wrote letters to surrounding congregations asking for their support and using our congregation and our senior Pastor’s name as a reference…an endorsement. It’s grossly disrespectful to the church, especially those of us who have seen both sides of Mr. Rivera and to Pastor Steve ……… know loves Kenny as a Christian and respects his faithful service in the church but who likely does not know of his rejection of Biblical Worldview. It should also be noted that our Pastor does NOT endorse and rightfully so, in political campaigns. He believes in the Word of God and the Holy Spirit and expects that a true Christian, seeking God, will be so motivated to support the individual who most lines up with the Word. For Mr. Rivera to imply in his outreach to the other churches, that our Pastor gave his endorsement is, quite frankly, a slap in the face. Kenny goes through great pains to keep his real views to himself and to put on a front. He’s done it again in this School Board race and THAT is a big reason why I vocally opposed him. I’m all for free and fair elections and for open contests. I am certainly happy to see ideas debated but where the lines blur is when we see people pretending to be something they are not. Just be honest about who you are, if you’re a Communist who has Communist/Socialist Labor support, embrace it, don’t hide from it.==========
