Santorum HATES everything.
Santorum claims, it is climate change that is – the hoax.
Santorum claims he is a better steward of our environment; and that he (Santorum) and fossil fuel folks know how to manage things (business per usual, only more and without environmental regulations.) Santorum proposes that fossil fuel folks have the right to dominion over the earth, that limiting the man made causes of climate change means (insert the hidden penny trick here,) – ‘more power for the government’ – however, this is contrary to – protecting God’s creation, the earth.
Santorum can’t have it both ways. 1) backing fossil fuel industries, et al; and 2) respecting God’s earth. By claiming “climate change is a hoax,” Santorum has chosen No. 1. Santorum thereby hopes people will not notice that he is saying, A) the deregulation of man-made CO2, of one of the most over-polluting nations is – right, and that B) protection of God’s creation is – wrong. (Not to forget, his total lack of climate change leadership for the world.)
If Santorum were to become the most powerful entity, of the most powerful nation, for who’s benefit would he serve? God’s earth or fossil fuels et al profits? Listen carefully to what he’s saying.
Santorum has said, people should have dominion over earth – as if earth should be used and abused, to the point that man changes earth’s systems. Is Santorum proposing to protect God’s earth? No. He is calling for “Dominion over earth,” even if climate change would mean, life as we know it,would no longer exist. (Remember, just because a lawyer from Washington says, it’s a hoax, doesn’t mean it is so.) The fact is, 98% of climate scientists agree, climate change is real.) Climate change is already in action, with harmful feedbacks kicking in.
When Santorum does the bait and switch, saying, “Measures to Limit Climate Change…. Are Efforts to Centralize Power,”
ask, power where? In Fossil Fuel’s world or in God’s world? ‘Deregulation,’ is power for whom? The fossil fuel industries, of course.
Santorum argues, “that human efforts to control the environment have resulted in a higher quality of life.” He’s talking about cranking up the heat, pushing gas peddles, dependence on fossil fuels; but even now, the other side of the coin is, cumulative climate change effects are already causing droughts, floods, starvation, fires, freak storms, etc, killing ten of millions around the globe. And continuing on the same climate change course, man will (relatively shortly) end life on the planet as we know it. Santorum cannot call that “quality of life.” By ‘denying’ responsibility altogether, by echoing fossil fuels’ coal black accounting bottom line – Santorum is saying, it’s all a hoax – business as usual, and more. When the REALITY is, it’s a matter of passing the “tipping point,” from which there will be no return.

Santorum says,”…. we should not let the vagaries of nature destroy what we have helped create,”
Here, Santorum is putting ‘man’ on a level with the creator of the earth, calling the present day ‘man made climate changes “vagaries of nature,” when they aren’t. Man isn’t behaving as part of nature, but as nature’s destroyer instead. Excessive over use of fossil fuels, has grown exponentially, over the last 150 years, with various resulting feedbacks into the planet’s heaing system.
Man made climate changes aren’t vagaries ( def: unpredictable, extravagant manifestations.) Therefore, Santorum has chosen to denounce science as well, going as far as to claim that fossil fuel republicans, “are the intelligent beings, that know how to manage things,” things, meaning ‘the earth’ and deregulation of pollution controls.
Santorum has said earlier this month, “We were put on this Earth as creatures of God to have dominion over the Earth, to use it wisely and steward it wisely, but for our benefit not for the Earth’s benefit,” No governmental regulations needed, says Santorum.
“..but for our benefit not for the Earth’s benefit,..” Isn’t the earth, God’s creation? The earth isn’t something to be destroyed, according to the book of Santorum.’ Would God agree with this man, Santorum, who would not think of protecting the earth or even those who do not participate in climate change and are put at greatest risk because of it?
CO2 level – 394.73 per NOAA.gov Feb. 19, 2012
The Catholic Church stresses respect for nature and environmental preservation. The Pope, warns against misuse and neglect of the earth and it’s natural goods (that God has given all of us.) Is it not OK for political lawyer Santorum, to dismiss climate change and dismiss science, as political hoax. He has, but should people believe in Santorum?
Santorum is preaching some kind of fossil fuel religion.
The Catholic Church has said to, “reduce worldwide carbon dioxide emissions without delay … reduce the concentrations of warming air pollutants … [and] prepare to adapt to the climatic changes, both chronic and abrupt, that society will be unable to mitigate.”
Who’s works is it, that Santorum says he will support? Fossil fuel Inc’s work or God’s.works? What mountain tops, rivers, what climates, ice caps, methane sinks, aquifers, which populations, atmospheric levels, shorelines, oceans, marine life, landslides, tectonic plates, does Santorum say, need not be protected? Deregulate CO2 Santorum says.
Using another measurement, our human energy system operates at a rate of one Hiroshima bomb every four seconds. That is the equivalent of more than eight million Hiroshima bombs going off each year.
Evangelical Christians have also called for combating climate change, as climate change is and will wreck havoc on food supplies and living conditions of the poor and on the stability of poor nations foremost, causing chaos, migrations, mayhem.
If Santorum does believe, God created earth, why does Santorum believe, it is OK for greedy, thoughtless men to destroy earth? (Saying something is a hoax, doesn’t mean it is.) It does mean. Santorum wants to be a president who refuses to acknowledge science or catastrophic problems.
The power that causes Santorum to utter the gibberish phrases to swindle, distract, bamboozle scientific studies, could be that of his puppeteers, who say deregulate baby, frack baby, drill baby, dance on the coal fires, baby. Dance Santorum, dance.
As Santorum says he doesn’t plan to protect the earth, can Santorum say he would protect men, women or children, college educations, values, snow covered mountain glaciers, smart people, homeland security, the poor, the military, health care, other industries, tax rates, freedom of anything, an economy, towns, the public square, cities, the church, the state, the country, the future, mankind? Santorum can’t double talk his self out of that. But he is comfortable saying , the need to protect the earth, is a hoax.
Republicans have created a (denial) hoax and they found the entity to represent and defend their hoax: Santorum, is no more than a puppet for conspiracy theorists and the man who would bring the greatest harm to the world he hates.
