Remember back when you occasionally went on a blind date?
Remember especially, right here, how Republicans dissed the Tea Party right up until they trounced them and then, inexplicably fully embraced them as the change of the future?
It’s like the republicans went out on a date with Lindsey Lohan, got a piece of her, and married her the next day….
They are waking up now.

“…………………………..”
What can a republican say?
When one has sold one’s vote, one no longer has a voice.
Welcome to the Washington Tea Party that the 1-2% wealthiest, bought.
What can the average TP voter think?
“OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO000000000000000000000ooooooo!!!!!”
TPs gave the wealthiest, the only thing they lacked (besides a conscience,) – numbers at the voting booth. Now TP’s in congress fight to see that the wealthiest don’t lose their tax breaks and shelters.
All the TP voter got for his vote, was a pat on his dumb head, for listening to Rush, et al deny their President, attack their country, deny their environment, attack struggling citizens, deny the needs and hopes of average American citizens.
Was the American government hijacked? Is toilet paper thrown in with sewage affluent being sold as drinking water down river? Yes and yes.
It’s a stinking tea party, heh? No tea, no crumpets for them. No window seat to watch peasants file by. Nowhere to sit their dumb azz. Mr Average TP gave away his vote and watches the TV as his world turns to crumbs swept to the floor.
Delaware tea voters failed to elect their New Jersey wonder. T.P. Bumpkins watch in stunned silence, but, are they capable of knowing what happens when their vote and political power, are bought by the greediest? TP’s didn’t care who was behind the grand plan. But it wasn’t about birth certiicates, chicken house propane, flu shots or jobs. It was really all about the monied interests gaining power.
The costs are clear to see. DJIA is stepping down the chart, 500 point in 5 days and falling. Americans are losing their financial worth at this moment. The interest rates will rise as more and more taxes will be needed to cover the interest of the debts alone. Watch the public clamp shut their purses, the housing market crumble, the businesses close; the jobs disappear, etc. (Feel like taking on higher mtge rates, a car loan, college costs or starting a business?) Didn’t think so.
Can the republican/ tea party voter now see what the 1-2% wealthiest are willing to produce in America – (not jobs) but a bold homegrown financial terror attack on America.
And they helped.
Finally, who will have the cash to scoop up the bargain rate carnage of what used to belong to the people.
Too bad, Mr T. P. Bumpkin doesn’t have stockpiles of financial resources, planes, foreign investments, yachts, businesses and homes around the world, to avoid all the losses, failures, closings, crime, and unpleasantness.
Mr. Coons better represents the people than the moderate Mr. Castle would have.
Silence in a nut shell. If repubs listen carefully, maybe they can hear the New Jersey wonder writing her own payroll check.
What can a republican say? How about, “…….. Mr. Boenher, listen to our President. He has the best interests of the America and its peope in mind.”

kavips
Mr. Coons better represents the people than the moderate Mr. Castle would have.
And a progressive running against Carper would probably do the same…. Moderates are good in name, but they don’t really do much in times of crises, do they?

Republicans, Wake up!
Obama advised Americans, “If you want to see a bipartisan compromise … let your members of Congress know..”
The debt ceiling, is not the end all of pressing problems, only the beginning – ie environmental, energy, jobs, food and the one behind it all, (that a politician won’t even mention) – over population. Unfortunately these problems are growing and being put off, affecting the next generation’s survival. Washington needs to get used to working together.
Left leaning wings, right leaning wings are part of the “bipartisan compromise” mix, the balance that could keep things afloat.
Pardon the following analogy:
How’s a eagle (nation) to fly, with two many left wings? Or some over powerful, almighty right wings. It wouldn’t even get off the ground to circle, crash and die, which is what would happen if the extreme right wing had it’s way.
The magic of the American system of government, should be in the combination of the varied political makeup, be they too many republicans from the plains, too many democrats from the cities, too many moderates ..landing in Washington, (picture hawks, pigeons, crows, sparrows, shore bird, etc) in the various branches, offering their combined knowledge and talents, beaks jabbing, wings flapping, turning their backs, attacking, somehow expecting to rising and succeed as ‘one’ for the good of all the combined interests they represented. Otherwise, “One nation under God with liberty and justice for all,” are just some meaningless words.
Birds are not too happy in failing industrial areas (but they need to be considered;) critical areas of technological advancement, needs to be advancing; areas of coastal fishing, flooding; draught, toxic by-products, etc. need to be addressed. There needs to be a lot of debating, rejection, acceptance, to come up with legislation, that sustains the various young, retired, working, un employed or independently wealthy ‘birds’ across the land.
The present debt ceiling, is of course a huge problem purposefully ignored for too long, (like school boys putting off the dreaded book report,) ‘yea yea, I’ve got time,’ when there is no time, just the horrible anticipation. These last few weeks, they had no choice but to take on “The Debt Ceiling,” Chapter One, America’s Struggling Economy. It’s a thick book. There’s screeching, posturing, clock watching, feathers are flying. It’s such a huge battle of the birds with a new odd mixture of some too powerful, greedy vulchers, that won’t let the flock work things out, feed, settle down and take off as one. As after all, together, they all are the American Eagle whose wing span, from left to right, needs to be healthy, fluffed, working, as part of its’ soaring flight.
Republicans will note, Obama isn’t always appreciated by the left wing and certainly not by the right wing, but Obama promotes compromise from the start. Obama knows we need to balance ourselves and the fiscal books. He’s offering overall moderation, “bipartisan compromise,” so the many wings can do their job and we can rise again. One has in the past, seen Obama himself rise to the occasion and get the job done.
Individual moderates: one can look at them as a representative individual getting elected within let’s say, the democratic party, who thinks, I’m in office because of the left base elected me, but recognizes others’ issues. He to some extent, satisfies his voters and keeps others from becoming threatening to the party. (This is not the same as a republican, who pretends he is a democrat.
Now extreme vulchers are being ‘handled’ by the ultra rich, because they outright claim to be ‘right wing extreme vulchers’ who will do the dirty deed.
Look at what an extreme vulchers will attack, education, taxes for the ultra rich, American jobs, social security, health care, the middle class, even the $95 a month provided for a homeless person to get back on track. That politician isn’t a “public servant” at all. He/she needs to be run off the street corners of Washington.

Regarding the extreme breed of vulchers, who have the interests of their monied backers pocket, rather than America or its’ people – republicans, moderates, democrats need to come together and somehow take their extremely disruptive, extreme money fueled, extreme control from them and let them know, this is “our” country.
The poor and middle, upper middle classes are the many and although under attack, will survive; while it is the rich, who have the most to lose due to their own extreme greed of wanting even more at a reduced tax rate.
If the rich want to cause another recession, depression or worse, this time, Obama needs to tell them, he will bail out the people, rather than again bailing out the bloated, bonus feed, multi millionaires/billionaires, who are “too big to save.”
