I was just commenting with Dana and made a snark comment how republicans idolize candidates that are dumb and mean. I was kidding a little, but then ventured over to FSP and read 73 comments that gave me pause.
Perhaps you should be your own judge in this case……..
Some excerpts:
If the guy is no threat, why do you keep fu*kin’ with him? Dave: For many, many reasons.
Dave: Mike — I have forgotten more about polling than you’ll ever learn.
Dave: Ahhhh. Denial of the charges. Nice try. I guess that’s better for you than actually answering the questions. (Seems to be a pattern.)
Dave: I am not trashing Protack for Levin. I am exposing Protack for the fraud he is because I enjoy it. Not because he’s a threat. Not because I was asked to. Because I WANT TO.
Dave: And because it’s time someone did.
Dave: I de-spammed comment 27 just for the laugh I got out of this statement:
“Also, anonymous name inquiries will get no response at all.”
Dave: Please, in the future, deny the issue with more flair. The same old denial of merit on issues that clearly have merit is getting tiresome.
Dave: I’ll file a complaint on Mike with the Department of Elections tomorrow and you can file a complaint on me. We’ll see how it turns out.
Dave: Using fake names while challenging someone’s credibility? You see how funny that is, don’t you?
Dave: And believe me, the attacks will continue, for a full year if necessary. He slips up and I’m there. Count on it.
Dave: He is not the leading candidate for Governor. He is not even a candidate. When he becomes a candidate, he will be the cellar-dwelling also-ran he’s always been.
Dave: He is not a fellow Republican. Just because he’s registered as an R doesn’t mean he’s my fellow ANYTHING.
Dave: These aren’t “vicious personal attacks”.
Dave: I don’t take advice from pretend people.
Dave: This continues until Mike drops out or until he is pounded 5-1 in the primary.
Re Comment 42: “Your father was a man of integrity and he got blitzed by the machine. Show some of his integrity and clean up the blog before it’s too late.”
Dave : Well I ain’t him.
Dave: And I do the blitzing now. Buckle your chin strap.
There is more if you wish to read the full arguments. I think Nancy said it best here: “It seems that FSP has lost its focus unless the blog is on a personal vendetta.” To be fair, here is a handful of Mike Protack’s vicious retorts:
Again, RickJ I can give you a tutorial of how successful polling works if you care to learn. The simple fact you mention “long distance” phone calls as a factor show the lack of knowledge on these matters. I have a very busy day so take care and drive carefully. In the meantime I will add you to my prayer list.
Hmm. I sense a difference in tone between those two.
I’m pulling out of any personal commentary. But perhaps Mitt Romney says it best here:
“It’s time for Republicans to start acting like Republicans. We have to remember who we are: We are not Big Government Republicans. We are not Washington Republicans. We are Change Washington Republicans.”
I love it whenever something just falls into your lap………..

Dave at FSP has lost his mind.
Maybe his buddy Levin can help with some inexpensive drugs.
Mike Protack is the only GOP candidate who can sweep out the country club republicans and return the governorship to the people.
